You will receive One Vintage Antique Wicker Baby Doll Stroller with Rickshaw like handles. The inside has a working latch that drops the bottom into a step for easy access in and out of the stroller. The top has two handles that allow the top to be lowered to allow the sun to shine in. The inside is padded. But does show vintage signs of age. There are no rips or tears in the black canvas, but there was an original repair done in one spot. The steel frame and wheels shows signs of rust and, but it still rolls perfectly. there is a slight bend to one of the handles and there is a small split below the center rail. ANTIQUE/ VINTAGE BUNNY RABBIT BABY DOLL BUGGIE SO UNIQUE AND QUITE RARE! The wheels are iron as are the bars that go up to the wood handle. The body of the buggie is hard wicker and wood. The body of the bunny head is very heavy and I believe to be carved wood. The material inside the buggie must be cotton. But it has a stiffer feel. The fabric has some light staining, but there are no tears or holes. The lace is all in one piece with no rips or tears. Measures 24" long from the tip of the nose to the handle. Measures 21 1/2" high from the floor to the top of the handle. The body of the buggie measures 9" wide. The wood handle measures 9" wide. A very nice woman recently reached out to me with this information about the carriage. She said that she found an article about the carriage in Country Living on collecting and ... morethey said the carriage was made from various parts at different times. The wheels late 19th century. And the head first part of 20th century. The wire and wooden handle and the oval straw basket were made in late 20th century. DESCRIPTION: Wonderful Antique WICKER& CAST IRON BABY/DOLL STROLLER. This items was made during the 1930's. Its in overall good shape for its age. Has been used for the last 20 years as a doll display in an antique shop. Cast iron frame with brake. Metal and wood push handle. The cardboard bottom piece is deteriorating. Back right side wheels has been repaired& is missing 1 spoke. Adjustable top and the foot board has a spring loaded rod that allows it to be laid flat. Custom handmade cushion and canopy liner. This stroller is functional. It rolls easily but does bounce& wobble. I prefer local pick-up due to age and weight. This is an antique. Victorian, full size wicker pram. Pram made of metal and wicker. With canvas seat. Rolls smoothly. The wicker weave has loosened up a bit and may need to be re-attached at edges, rubber wheels have a few cracks, the curved area where the child's feet rest is coming loose, you can see the nails up above where it was attached to, and may need to be re-attached. I will be removing the handle for shipping and my husband said that the bolts will probably break when I remove them, so be aware that those 4 bolts may not be original, I don't know yet. Please keep in mind that I don't know a lot about this type of item. But I have tried to describe it accurately. It is approx 28" long, 21" wide and 28" tall not including the handle. Hand Made Antique Distressed Baby Doll Carriage: Iron, Wicker, Wood and Cloth
Good Day! Today. I have a Hand Made Antique Distressed Baby Doll Carriage. This piece was made to resemble an authentic Victorian style pram, using iron, wicker, wood, and cloth, along with techniques to create a vintage"aged" look! The basket measures 14" long by 7" wide by 6" deep. Black cloth and wicker accents adorn the outer basket. The wood wheels are spoked and lined with iron. The wheels do turn! The wheels are mounted to the carriage by bent iron. The stroller handle, mounted with iron also, has a fancy wood turning. The iron framed bonnet folds up or down. It consists of black cloth that has gotten quite delicate from the aging technique and age itself. Its seams look to have been glued to its frame in spots, but looks nice! This carriage will make an excellent display piece for a small baby doll or teddy ... morebear! Please look at all my pictures to get an idea of how authentic and"vintage" this carriage looks!
