Antique Victorian wicker doll baby buggy or pram. The buggy is in very good condition. The wicker is intact along with the pie shaped celluloid windows on each side of the buggy. It measures 29 inches long, 13 1/2 inches wide and 30 inches tall. The inside of the buggy measures 9 inches wide and 20 1/2 inches long. The brake mechanism is in working order. It has a steel frame, steel springs, a wooden handle, and steel foot brake. Also a reclining back. The rubber on the wheels has oxidized and is very hard. The rubber on one of wheel has broken off. But certainly very good. I can find no holes in the wicker, but there are some very small spots of worn or chipped paint(does not appear to be re-painted) and I can see a small section(1/2 inch) of missing braided trim on the footrest(check photo close-up) Top works well, wheels turn well, and it seems to be quite sturdy all around. Looks like the interior lining is missing(as seen in first pic) but these can be easily re-lined by an experienced doll collector/restorer. Nice size, as it is not too large for storing and perfect for displaying a seated doll. This great old sleigh measures approximately 38 inches overall length x 31 inches from bottom of runner to top of handle. The basket measure approximately 12 inches wide at widest point x 27 1/2 inches long. The deepest point in the basket is approximately 10 inches. The wooden handle is approximately 10 1/2 inches long. The black lining is in very good condition. Fasteners holding liner to wicker body are antique. If this sleigh must be shipped It will taken to UPS for packaging and mailing. This cost will be added to winning bid price. Actual cost only- no handling charge. Antique Victorian Wicker Baby Carriage from the late 1800's to the early 1900's in nearly mint condition The carriage body is made of wicker with a metal frame. It appears to have never been painted. The wheels still maintain their original rubber on steel spokes. The carriage top is adjustable to flip forward or back to block sunlight as needed. The foot rest is also adjustable to fit an infant to a toddler to a sitting or prone position. All moving parts work. There are no manufacturer tags or marks that I can find. It measures 43” long from handle to end of foot rest. And is 40” tall x 22 ½” wide. It is wonderful! If you have any questions please feel free to ask. Please do not expect vintage. Vintage Victorian Wicker Baby Doll Stroller South Bend Toys 1930's to 1940's
This item is adorable with it's wicker work and green. Red, and black pin stripping on the sides. There is some wear on the front top rim, the dome is a bit soft from age and has a bit of wear on the canopy in front, and it is missing one hubcap at rear. I have had this toy carriage in my personal collection since the 80's and loved it sitting in my bedroom filled with dolls. It stands approximately 28" H x 22 L, not including the handle.

For your consideration I offer this antique wicker doll/ baby buggy. Warm woven wicker. Tan with colors in the middle of the body. Quarter circle windows on each side of hood. In amazing antique condition. Usually the rubber on the wheels has issues but this buggy does not. Curled strong metal frame. Measures: 26" long x 14 1/2" wide x 26" tall. The frame has a wonderful creme colored patina. Inside wood portions in good condition. Included is the blue satin baby blanket that was inside when I purchased it. You are looking at a full size Victorian vintage wicker/pram baby carriage. It's in great condition overall. The metal wheels have some worn areas in the rubber and it seems this was once painted white as you can see in the photos. I purchased this carriage exactly as it appears in the photos from an antique store in Belvidere. New Jersey several years ago. The foot part folds down as you can see. The metal manufacturer(tag shown in the photo) was"Geo W. Travers, New York City" and the tag is located on the bottom rear beneath the seat. Antique Wicker Victorian Baby doll buggy and hard plastic baby doll with creepy
Was given to me by my grandmother. But no longer collecting baby dolls. I am not for sure on the detail of exactly what the doll is or where it came from, but I do know all of it parts are original and both are 30+ years old. The carriage is in good condition with no missing pieces or cracks. My grandmother says the doll is porcelain, but looks to me like a hard plastic. Antique victorian baby carriage originally. Now I would use it for large dolls. The name of the carriage is the"Kensington" Pat'd. July 5th. 1875. It was made by S.Charles Bros. 11-10 B'way. N.Y. It measures 37 1/2" long, including the handle it measures 51" long. It is 24 1/2" wide, and 35" tall. The body is wicker. The bottom is wood. The wheels are wood with metal bands around the edges. The four center caps of the wheels are brass. The handle is wood with brass finial ends. There is a wood plaque on each end of the carriage to attach an umbrella on either top or bottom. An oval plaque with the name of the carriage is mounted on either end. There are two metal rings on each side of the wicker edge to hold a cover or blanket with clips.
