The wicker is in nice condition. The undercarriage is metal with wooden spoked wheels. It has an adjustable back which does work. The foot brake is present but seems to be rusty and does not want to work correctly. The front right wheel has had the rubber replaced. The front left wheel has some chinks out of the rubber. The wheels do turn and you can push the carriage if desired. The handle is a turned wood. The seat has been recovered and we are including the matching ruffled seat blanket. Measures 32" long x 16" wide x 29" tall This carriage is made of brown woven wicker. There are some areas where the pieces are broken. It has a steel frame with a wooden handle that has a lot of rust due to it's age. There is rubber on the steel rimmed wooden spoke wheels, the rubber has a lot of wear. The top of the carriage has 2 small round windows with lace covering. The inside of the carriage is very clean. There is a board on the bottom lined with cream colored linen with attached eyelet. Antique 1900's Victorian baby carriage / stroller - Geo W. Travers, NYC
You are looking at a Victorian era antique wicker baby stroller by Geo W. Travers of New York City. I'm not sure exactly what year this was made. However after doing some internet research, it seems that it's from the early 1900's. I purchased this lovely piece at a Victorian antique store in Belvidere, New Jersey about 14 years ago. Years ago, it was once painted and the paint was removed some time after that as you can see from the detail in the photos. The bottom lifts up as you can see between photo 1 and photo 2. Everything is all original and I have done nothing to this piece as to not affect the antique value of it. The wheels are green with black rubber on them. Slightly worn but not badly at all. Tractor and etc parts from an estate. The tire diameter of is approx 5 inches. With a width of ¾ inches. The wheel diameter is approx. 3 3/8 inches. There is some surface rust in spots and scrapes in the paint. There are no markings on the tires to indicate make. Here’s the weird part; they have different diameter axle holes with one at.318. Vintage Italian made Giordani pram in excellent condition. Very nice blue velvet material and cream vinyl interior. Still works great very sturdy foot pedal brake on the back wheels for parking. Pushes like a dream. Kind of rocks front and back when you push down on the handle bar so you can sooth your baby. We used the top as a bassinet by our bedside when our baby was newborn because it has the unique feature of detaching from the base. The hood also collapses and can fold the opposite direction. This circa 1870s doll stroller is in really good shape for the year it was made. The body is made of rattan wicker and wood. Wheels are made from Brentwood metal with steel rims.The canopy is made of canvas. Also the canopy opens and closes. From top of canopy to bottom of wheels measures 35' the basket measures 23' long, 15' wide, the handle to the back of the basket measures 40' long. This stroller has been one of the most favorite conversation pieces in my home for years due to the strange way it looks. Stroller is in great shape, no rips, tears, broken wicker. It has been taken care of very well. Cleaned only with warm cloth to remove dust, never cleaned with any chemicals. Antique Lloyds Baby Stroller/Carriage/Buggie
Charming old baby carriage. Made by Lloyds. It still has Lloyds name plate. Was in Great Aunt's attic for 70 years accumumlating dust and dirt. Talking to several people, I was advised not to try and clean. Other then the wicker being dirty, there does not seemed to be any breaks and wicker seems very tight. Handle folds for easy storage. Went to the internet and talked to a expert. He said it was made around turn of century. Several knowledgeable people have said that if this piece was never used and still wrapped, it could go as high as $1000.00. It is missing the 10&1/2" wheels. A dealer said they where wire spoked with rubber tires. The rear wheels are correct, for going up and down stairs. I have searched the internet, and have not seen any like this one. I will deliver up to 300 miles for a fee.

What a great find! We came across this fabulous early baby doll buggy with an ornate wooden handle. Sun shade canopy functions perfectly and flips from front to back easily. Wheels are intact and roll along as they should. The frame is metal. There is some paint wear on the handle- see pictures 8& 9. Let's talk about the wicker. Overall the wicker is in very good condition. There ARE spots where the wicker has torn.see pictures 6& 7. There are some loose ends also in the sun shade canopy.see last photo. Lastly it appears as if at some point in time a craftsman has made some mends as we notice a color differential in some parts of the buggy. QUALITY COLLIER ANTIQUE VINTAGE BABY CARRIAGE STROLLER PRAM DOLL COLLAPSES
Beautiful piece for display or use. These models notoriously collapse when used unless being pushed and stand up on their own with side locks when standing without movement. Also fold down very nicely. Chrome is in exceptional shape. The only flaws are shown in the photos including a slightly slipping seam(pictures on the corner hardly able to see it at all) and the stitching that came undone on the corner of the canopy. EXCELLENT SHAPE. At first I thought it was a replica but when I looked closer. It was clearly the original. White wheels, no issues. This auction is for a set of two large antique/ vintage baby stroller carriage. Pedal car, toy car or wagon tire and wheels. Obviously, I do not know what it fits, yet I’m leaning towards wagon or pedal car. The tire diameter is approx. 18 inches with a width of 1 1/4 inch. The diameter of the rim or wheel is approx. 16 inches. The wheel is approx. 3 inches wide measured at the axle. There are 32 spokes with each one checked for breakage. The wheels ride on a 1/2 inch axle. As the photos show, there is some rust requiring clean up and repaint. The tires have Puncture Proof and Clipper with 18 x 1 embossed on the side. The tires have occasional nicks in them. One tire is split at the factory seam. An old timer told me it could be reglued, soaked in warm water to swell it up and reinstalled back on the rim. Large Antique Silver Cross Pram Baby Stroller Carriage Buggy, Earth Brown, 1950s
Up for sale. A large antique Silver Cross Pram Baby Stroller- Carriage- Buggy. Stroller is earth brown color, made during the 1950s in Birmingham, England. The metal baby carrier can be removed off the chrome chassis. The bedding can be propped up. This is a very nice stroller. This stroller is a full size. It measures roughly 46" tall x 45" long with the handles open x 24" wide, from wheel to wheel. I don't know if the white bedding is original or not. Condition: Wear is expected of a baby carriage this old. Below I've listed everything that I see on the pram. 1) There are no tears or rips in the fabric. It looks very good. 2) On the fabric that covers the bed area. Which comes off, liguid was spilled on one area. 3) The rubber wheels and the break pad show the most wear. They are cracked and dry. 4) One of the two ... morebreak pads is missing. 5) On all four sides of the metal carrier there are a few scratches. Noticable on close inspection. 6) The chrome chassis looks good with m inimal surface rust. Except around the spokes area on the wheels. 7) T he ribbed black handle has a little white mark. Removable with the right cleaner. 8) The metal logo on the front side has part of it loose and disconnected from the rest of the logo. Seen in the 4th photo. The logo looks intact. If left alone, the logo stays intact, but if you move the last 1/2" smaller right part of the logo, it moves, which could be super glued to keep it stayed together. Shipping note: Local pick up is available in the Washington DC area. Stroller is large and heavy. I'll mail the stroller in two boxes. The shipping cost will include insurance and tracking info. The sulky was positioned a few feet from the bottom of our bed. I woke with a start, sat up in bed and heard the sulky's handle squeak as it moved about 20°. Creepy. The clock read 2:19 am. On my way back, feeling better and a bit silly, I immediately noticed the seat area seemed blurry somehow, as if it was out of focus. I reached down into the seat area and my hand felt chilly air. I quickly pulled my hand back, then got my courage up and tried it a few times more to be sure- the same chill everytime. Now I was really getting uneasy and my skin was crawling. I moved the sulky into the garage and haven't noticed any more odd phenomenon since. Who knows the true history of whatever might have happened to this piece in its long history.
