I couldnt believe that something this old could have been kep in such beautiful condition all these years. It looks as though it was lovingly covered and stored for over 50 years. Even the shade cover I discovered in thhe front compartment appears to have never been used! The original chrome'fenders' are shiny and bright! This easily converts from a buggies to a stroller. The label reads Europe Import Co. Detroit. My asking price reflects the fine original condition but of course I'm always open to a good offer so don't be shy! I would equate this buggie to a low milage garaged 50's automoblie discovered after years of hibernation. It measures roughly 35"L x 34"T x 19" W. This is not a doll stroller. Antique Wicker Baby Carriage Buggy Pram~Converts to Stroller~WOW!
You are bidding on an AWESOME estate find in this antique wicker baby carriage. Full size.not for dolls) As you can see in the pictures. It converts to a stroller, both flat and with head elevated and dropped footrest. Although not without some flaws. It is in amazing condition for its age! I find no broken wicker. The wheels and fenders give it a real"Cadillac Elegance" look. The wheels are 7 1/2" diameter and have the original Westland rubber tires. The wheels HAVE been painted on the outside surface, but this is the only"restoration" I find. The wooden surfaces had all been originally painted yellow, and this paint is flakiing off.A LOT! The steel handle easily disconnects from the buggy for storage. And is rubber-coated across the top. The hood also easily disconnects. The steel undercarriage is also painted yelllow. ... moreAnd also flaking off. Two wheels have the original leather strap connection, one has NO connection, and the other is held together with twine. The worst flaw I find is that there is a wooden support bar across the hood. And this is broken. It lies between the wicker and the plastic lining, so to repair it would require removing the lining. You can't see it, and it does not alter the look of the buggy except for where the lining is drooping somewhat in that area where it was attched to the bar. The steel hub caps and fenders have suffered some corrosion over the years. Some places worse than others. As can be seen in the 10th picture. There is an expandable pouch at the foot of the buggy for storage(diapers, bottles, etc. The rest of the pictures show the underside. This comes with the original straw-filled mattress. And original ticking, although I doubt you would want to use it for a baby! One side is in fine shape. The other side has a hole in the tickiing, and also shows staining. Mattress measures 26" x 14" Measurements are: 36" from front to back; hood measures 18" wide. Height is 32" to top of hood. I am not an antique dealer. But I have

Dates to somewhere between 1860-1875 Working bonnet Light chipping to the wood. A few small paint stains on the bonnet and some minor warping of the frame that is difficult to see in the photo's which all adds to the character of this piece. You are bidding on a unique carriage. Buggy or cart for a child or doll that is Victorian or Edwardian in style. The carriage is in excellent shape. The carriage is made of wood(oak) and iron. It has two adorable red spoke wheels and an oak handle decorated with inscribed lines. The handle also fold and has a locking system. The seats and cushion are also in red with gold trim. The seat has a leather strap with a picture of a young child and the seat itself has a reversible back so the child can sit facing either way. The cushion on the seat says" E-Z Go" in gold letters. This is a great looking and solidly made carriage or buggy. This carriage appears to have a kind of spring system to cushion the ride. It is in surprisingly good shape considering its age: the wheels and"tire" are good and the wood and leather are in ... morenice shape. The paint is mostly there although there is some crazing. There seems to be one small slat of wood missing on the side. I may be able to supply a properly sized piece of oak(I remember making one a while back. But never used it as the carriage looks fine the way it is- I may be able to find it) I am shipping this taken apart: 6 bolts;two that hold the handle and 4 that hold the seat. It is easy to put back and I will supply instructions. I can ship it together. But the cost would be almost 3 times as much because the box is over sized. The two attachments are a baby bassinet for a small baby to lie down in. And a toddler seat with straps and buckles and an adjustable back so the child can lie down or sit upright. Doll Carriage Buggy Stroller. This is a beautiful stroller! I was told when I submitted the pics to a Dealer in England. That it's a Pram Doll Stroller. I'm not 100% because I think it also has a lot of the characteristics of the Bilt Rite, but I do know it is from the 1930's. It does have some condition issues. There are a few rips in the canopy. See Pics) There are some rust on the wheels, hardware, handle, and on most of the metal throughout. There is also some scuffs on the paint of the carriage itself. Tears, holes or major stains- needs a light cleaning. The pink mattress has no rips or tears in the pink plastic. There is a little paint loss here and there(nothing major) Rolls easily- plenty of wear left on the wheels. The carriage part measures 32" x 15 1/2" x 9" It collapses down to 15" very easily- bring the handle forward and it goes down for easy storage. Great way to display vintage dolls or bears. The new owner can keep the dated cover and bedding(vintage embroidery) or have it restored to pristine condition. There are a few stains on the cover that show its age, but it is a wonderful piece! Up for sale we have a very rare vintage baby carriage. It is estimated to be from the late 1800's or early 1900's. It has metal framing. Metal wheels, with a wooden body, there is a pad where the baby would normally lay. and if you lift it up there are springs underneath, it has a leather hood. This particular carriage carries a unique crest on the side. It also displays a great deal of what looks like hand carving/wood scallops on the sides of the carriage. I asked an antique dealer and he suggested this possibly belonged to a wealthy family. He also explained that the more decorative ones were often special ordered and made personally for certain wealthy families. This is a"rare baby carriage" that looks great for its age. I have had this carriage for many years. and I have yet to find one as exceptionally unique as this ... moreone. It has that"Creepy Cool" look that would add character to your antique collection or antique store. This piece is in relatively good condition. Antique Victorian Wicker & Iron Baby/Doll Pram Stroller Carriage Buggy Vintage
This is an antique. Victorian, full size wicker pram. Pram made of metal and wicker. With canvas seat. Rolls smoothly. The wicker weave has loosened up a bit and may need to be re-attached at edges, rubber wheels have a few cracks, the curved area where the child's feet rest is coming loose, you can see the nails up above where it was attached to, and may need to be re-attached. I will be removing the handle for shipping and my husband said that the bolts will probably break when I remove them, so be aware that those 4 bolts may not be original, I don't know yet. Please keep in mind that I don't know a lot about this type of item. But I have tried to describe it accurately. It is approx 28" long, 21" wide and 28" tall not including the handle. The owner told me it was late 60s or 70s doll carriage. It doesn’t fold down and is a Coronet. It has the insignia on the side. It is a wonderful colorful plaid. This is too small for a real baby. Antique Victorian Dolly Toy Stroller Carriage Pram Buggy Measures about 21 inches long. About 23 inches high at the top of the handle, and about 13 inches wide. The cotton lining material appears to have been replaced several decades ago with some cotton denim. It appears to be at least 100 years old given the type of wheels it has. It obviously was well used, but still appears sturdy. It looks to be iron and steel, painted black, with some rust spots. The fabric appears to be replaced, but it probably was based on the original pattern. A great addition to any vintage toy or doll collection. Listed is this lovely antique wicker Baby Doll Carriage made by Lloyd Loom Products of Menominee. Michigan in 1925. This is the same Carriage seen featured in the 1925 edition of the November Ladies' Home Journal. This carriage is all original in lightly played-with condition and everything works WELL. Paint is missing from the wooden handle. One of the locking eyelets on the drop down back appears to have been repaired-by-Dad with a different sized eyelet, and the fabric has many small marks/stains, but no smells or signs of repair. ... moreThe wrought iron metal armature is in near mint condition, the foot brake works and locks into position strongly, and the hardware holding the Wicker Bonnet is firm and snug, allowing you to adjust the Bonnet to multiple positions. The rubber wheels show signs of wear from use, but are evenly worn and have NONE of the shrinking gaps one normally sees when rubber dries out. Rubber wheels remain hydrated and ready to use condition. Shipping should be stress free as this is a very sturdy(still) and well constructed baby doll stroller. Vintage Wonda Baby Pram Carriage Buggy Stroller with Toile Bedding
This pram carriage buggy stroller is in very good conditon. It is very clean and the chrome is in really good shape for it's age. Still shiny! The aluminun plates on the bottom are a little stained. But everyone i have seen has this same issue. It still has it's hub caps. The inside is very white"see pictures" usually they yellow with age. It also comes with a toile pram blanket and covered mattress pad. The mattress pad can be removed to the original white if desired. It is also in good condition. As far as i know from research it is made by Babyhood and is a Wonda pram. You can take the top part off and make it a bassinet. You can also remove the chrome stand from the bassinet, and fold the handles down on the stroller base to make it easier to store or load in your vehicle. The only defects noted are the plastic trim ... moreon 2 SMALL spaces(see pictures) and the scrape on the lower side of the front(see pictures) I will try to sell this pick up only because of the weight, it's approx. 65 pounds, but if you are willing to pay for the cost of the shipping i will consider it. Large Antique Silver Cross Pram Baby Stroller Carriage Buggy WASHINGTON DC Brown
Up for sale. A large antique Silver Cross Pram Baby Stroller- Carriage- Buggy. Stroller is earth brown color, made during the 1950s in Birmingham, England. The metal baby carrier can be removed off the chrome chassis. The bedding can be propped up. This is a very nice stroller. This stroller is a full size. It measures roughly 46" tall x 45" long with the handles open x 24" wide, from wheel to wheel. I don't know if the white bedding is original or not. Condition: Wear is expected of a baby carriage this old. Below I've listed everything that I see on the pram. 1) There are no tears or rips in the fabric. It looks very good. 2) On the fabric that covers the bed area. Which comes off, it seems like something was spilled on one area. 3) The rubber wheels and the break pad show the most wear. They are cracked and dry. ... more4) One of the two break pads is missing. 5) On all four sides of the metal carrier there are a few scratches. Noticable on close inspection. 6) The chrome chassis looks good with m inimal surface rust. Except around the spokes area on the wheels. 7) The metal logo on the front side has part of it loose and disconnected from the rest of the logo. Seen in the 4th photo. The logo looks intact. If left alone, the logo stays intact, but if you move the last 1/2" smaller right part of the logo, it moves, which could be super glued to keep it stayed together. Shipping note: Local pick up is available in the Washington DC area. Stroller is large and heavy. I'll mail the stroller in two boxes. The shipping cost will include insurance and tracking info. I could ship this via Greyhound. The cost would be less, but there is no insurance for it, and it would be transfered from bus to bus across country. Concerning European/Austrailian clients, I am not sure if I can send this stroller, since it is too large to send via USPS. Please contact me before bidding. Antique Victorian(late 1800's) wood doll carriage with metal side pieces. A leather type hood/canopy and wooden handle. all appear to be original parts. Antique vintage Old Bilt Rite Baby Doll Carriage Buggy Stroller Pram steampunk
Antique 1940's-50's Bilt Rite Baby Carriage Buggy Stroller in Brown. Bilt Rite was once the top of the line company for the production of baby buggies. Non-restored. These buggies can run about $450 and restored, upwards $950-$1000. As far as I can tell this one has not been restored but everything is in working order. Features spring suspension, adjustable canopy, and working brakes. Inside measures 31 inches long by 14 inches wide with a 7 inch depth to mattress top. Outside measure 48 inches long by 48 inches tall. Wheels are 12 inches in diameter. Condition is quite good for its age. This item is from an old 3 generation farm estate sale. See photos item is as shown. There is some rust, wheels have minor cracks, and there is some rust on the metal under frame. The hood on the buggy folds down and the handle can fold up over the ... moretop lowering the bed down to rest right on top of the wheels. But it can not be folded up any more than that. The bed itself can be removed from the wheel frame by removing the springs. I will ship it. BUT, it would need to be taken apart and i can not be reasonable for anything that may break. however if there is a problem with the packing and shipping part, I will notify you and we can cancel auction with mutual agreement to do so. You also have the choice of having me drop it off at UPS if you want to have them prepare the shipment. In that case you would have to directly pay UPS for that service.
