There is also a parasol holder with a screw to hold it in place. Dimensions are about 40" long for the carriage with the foot rest extended and 36” with the foot rest folded back x 19" wide carriage and 24” wheel to wheel width x 36-3/4" tall(including handle) All four wheels have a diameter is 14” It weighs about 30 pounds. This buggy is in original condition with the exception of the newer upholstered side cushions. Those cushions need some attention as they are a bit loose fitting. The wicker is quite good with only a few broken reeds in the woven bottom seat along with some minor surface soiling. A slight warp to the foot rest can be seen in the photo above. Please check all photos carefully. And let me know if you want more. There is also surface oxidation and rust on the metal parts and paint loss on the handle. Looks like the interior lining is missing(as seen in first pic) but these can be easily re-lined by an experienced doll collector/restorer. Antique Vintage Baby Doll Woven Wicker Carriage Buggy Stroller This is a nice Antique Vintage Baby Doll Woven Wicker Carriage Buggy Stroller. Measures 32" long x 16" wide x 29" tall This carriage is made of brown woven wicker. There are some areas where the pieces are broken. It has a steel frame with a wooden handle that has a lot of rust due to it's age. There is rubber on the steel rimmed wooden spoke wheels, the rubber has a lot of wear. The top of the carriage has 2 small round windows with lace covering. The inside of the carriage is very clean. There is a board on the bottom lined with cream colored linen with attached eyelet. There is a patchwork quilt that measures 25" x 22" in good condition. There is a small pillow with pillowcase that measures 9" x 5 1/2" in good condition. The actual pillow ... morehas stains on it. We just found this 140 year old Vintage Antique Victorian Baby Stroller. It is all here and it all works well. It is fully collapsible with springs and all and all original brackets and hardware is here, not much rust at all anywhere on the buggy. We bought this stroller with a Kestner German Doll inside from a large Estate Sale in Beverly Hills. It has been in that location for over 60 years kept inside with the doll. It appears to have the original pillow and cushion but so hard for me to tell, for sure from that age and in great condition for the age. This is a very rare item in this condition. What a great find! We came across this fabulous early baby doll buggy with an ornate wooden handle. Sun shade canopy functions perfectly and flips from front to back easily. Wheels are intact and roll along as they should. The frame is metal. There is some paint wear on the handle- see pictures 8& 9. Let's talk about the wicker. Overall the wicker is in very good condition. There ARE spots where the wicker has torn.see pictures 6& 7. There are some loose ends also in the sun shade canopy.see last photo. Lastly it appears as if at some point in time a craftsman has made some mends as we notice a color differential in some parts of the buggy. Please review pictures carefully and let us know if you need more! In our opinion the wicker variances are minor and don't detract much at all from the overall presentation of this terrific ... morepiece. Measurements: Overall length is 26 1/2 inches-measured from handle to nose of carriage. Height is 22 inches from ground to handle. The sulky was positioned a few feet from the bottom of our bed. I woke with a start, sat up in bed and heard the sulky's handle squeak as it moved about 20°. Creepy. The clock read 2:19 am. I walked out of the bedroom into the hallway to head for the bathroom and watched the sulky carefully as I passed it. On my way back, feeling better and a bit silly, I immediately noticed the seat area seemed blurry somehow, as if it was out of focus. I reached down into the seat area and my hand felt chilly air. I quickly pulled my hand back, then got my courage up and tried it a few times more to be sure- the same chill everytime. Now I was really getting uneasy and my skin was crawling. I moved the sulky into the garage and haven't noticed any more odd phenomenon since. Who knows the true history of whatever might have happened to this piece in its long history. Antique Wicker Baby Carriage Buggy Pram~Converts to Stroller~WOW!
You are bidding on an AWESOME estate find in this antique wicker baby carriage. Full size.not for dolls) As you can see in the pictures. It converts to a stroller, both flat and with head elevated and dropped footrest. Although not without some flaws. It is in amazing condition for its age! I find no broken wicker. The wheels and fenders give it a real"Cadillac Elegance" look. The wheels are 7 1/2" diameter and have the original Westland rubber tires. The wheels HAVE been painted on the outside surface, but this is the only"restoration" I find. The wooden surfaces had all been originally painted yellow, and this paint is flakiing off.A LOT! The steel handle easily disconnects from the buggy for storage. And is rubber-coated across the top. The hood also easily disconnects. The steel undercarriage is also painted yelllow. ... moreAnd also flaking off. Two wheels have the original leather strap connection, one has NO connection, and the other is held together with twine. The worst flaw I find is that there is a wooden support bar across the hood. And this is broken. It lies between the wicker and the plastic lining, so to repair it would require removing the lining. You can't see it, and it does not alter the look of the buggy except for where the lining is drooping somewhat in that area where it was attched to the bar. The steel hub caps and fenders have suffered some corrosion over the years. Some places worse than others. As can be seen in the 10th picture. There is an expandable pouch at the foot of the buggy for storage(diapers, bottles, etc. The rest of the pictures show the underside. This comes with the original straw-filled mattress. And original ticking, although I doubt you would want to use it for a baby! One side is in fine shape. The other side has a hole in the tickiing, and also shows staining. Mattress measures 26" x 14" Measurements are: 36" from front to back; hood measures 18" wide. Height is 32" to top of hood. I am not an antique dealer. But I have

This old baby buggy/ stroller is sturdy and in good shape. With nice rubber on tires. Late 1800s to early 1900s No cracks in rubber but a few indents. Neat locking mechanisim for leg rest and adjustable back rest that lays back a few inches. 16" is the height of seat and the push handle is 34" The seat has a repair which is original but appears to have a glued crack, Turned wooden side rails/ handles and top handle are in good shape with no cracks etc. 16" back wheel span. Very nice leather strap with buckle and clasp all original which is rare to find. This wicker stroller is awesome! It's got loads of charm! This wicker part of the stroller measures 19" x 9" As a whole it's 27" tall and 25" from end to end. It's fully functioning and great for dolls. Pets, babies or for a prop. It's in excellent condition given it's age. I'm guessing it was made in the 1930s. Local pick up is preferable on this piece. Even the shade cover I discovered in thhe front compartment appears to have never been used! The original chrome'fenders' are shiny and bright! This easily converts from a buggies to a stroller. ANTIQUE/ VINTAGE BUNNY RABBIT BABY DOLL BUGGIE SO UNIQUE AND QUITE RARE! The wheels are iron as are the bars that go up to the wood handle. The body of the buggie is hard wicker and wood. The body of the bunny head is very heavy and I believe to be carved wood. The material inside the buggie must be cotton. But it has a stiffer feel. The fabric has some light staining, but there are no tears or holes. The lace is all in one piece with no rips or tears. Measures 24" long from the tip of the nose to the handle. Measures 21 1/2" high from the floor to the top of the handle. The body of the buggie measures 9" wide. The wood handle measures 9" wide. A very nice woman recently reached out to me with this information about the carriage. She said that she found an article about the carriage in Country Living on collecting and ... morethey said the carriage was made from various parts at different times. The wheels late 19th century. And the head first part of 20th century. The wire and wooden handle and the oval straw basket were made in late 20th century. Even though it may be a marriage of different parts, it is eye catching and has appeal to collectors with a value of $750.00. Even though this carriage is very old. And the one ear has been repaired, it is otherwise in amazing condition! This buggie would be the perfect accessory for anyone who is a doll collector. We found this piece at an old farmhouse. And it's in"farm fresh" condition and would look great as a decor piece. This piece was made in the late 1800's or very early 1900's by the Gendron Wheel Company in Toledo, Ohio. The buggy has a solid iron frame that is in good shape, a lined wicker basket with an adjustable cover and iron wheels with hard rubber tires. There is one panel on the end that lays down flat so you can get the baby in and out easily or lay them down flat to change a diaper. This is a great antique piece that would be a fun restoration ... moreproject and would make a great"rustic" decor piece as it sits now! Condition: This piece is antique and used with some wear. We picked this out of an old farmhouse and it's in"farm fresh" condition. So it is definitely not pristine. The iron frame has some pitting and oxidation throughout. The wicker basket has some wear with a some loose spots and some holes on the cover and near the edges. The interior liner has a lot of wear. The wheels have wear but are in good working condition. The stroller rolls easily, but the basket on it is becoming brittle in spots. Overall this is in rustic condition and would be great for restoration or display as is. DESCRIPTION: Wonderful Antique WICKER& CAST IRON BABY/DOLL STROLLER. This items was made during the 1930's. Its in overall good shape for its age. Has been used for the last 20 years as a doll display in an antique shop. Cast iron frame with brake. Metal and wood push handle. The cardboard bottom piece is deteriorating. Back right side wheels has been repaired& is missing 1 spoke. Adjustable top and the foot board has a spring loaded rod that allows it to be laid flat. Custom handmade cushion and canopy liner. This stroller is functional. It rolls easily but does bounce& wobble. I prefer local pick-up due to age and weight. If you insist that it be shipped all cost will be upon the buyer, and an extra fee will be applied for preparing it for shipment. Please examine all photos carefully.
