VINTAGE PRIMITIVE ~LLOYD LOOM PRODUCTS~ WICKER BUGGY from days of old
VINTAGE PRIMITIVE ~LLOYD LOOM PRODUCTS~ WICKER BUGGY from days of old. This very unique buggy was the cadillac of buggies back in the day. Sturdy metal frame encompassing this old timer. It measures just about 16 1/2” long from front to back of the wicker buggy~9” wide~14” from floor to top of buggy. It is 13 ¼” from the floor to the top of the buggy and 24” all the way to the top of the canopy. There are four wire spoke wheels with one kind of wonky but still there. Still has the original LLOYD metal label inside from Menominnie. Minnesota. This was a fancy buggy back in the day. The wicker around the canopy could use some work and also the wicker at the top of the frame on one end. It actually is in pretty decent condition for its age. Wish I could say the same! The wicker is in tact all the way around, it is just the one side of the ... morecanopy around the bottom and at the end where the wicker would match up to the metal frame. Thanks for looking. This is a Lloyd Loom 1920"s wicker baby carriage called"Sunshine" Everything on it is absolutely original. Even the fabric lining the inside. The fabric is tearing in 3 or 4 places. It has the original Lloyd Loom tag still attached on the inside. These wheels are wooden, it has a footbrake, the hood moves forward and back, and the seat tilts up. I found an original advertisement online and put it in an old frame, so it goes with the carriage. The frame of the carriage is slightly bent and needs to be straightened. The bottom of the carriage has a sturdy wood base and is in excellent shape. The carriage measures approximately 34" from the handle to the front of the carriage. The base of the carriage is approximately 13" wide. This auction is for an original Antique Black Wicker Lloyd Loom Products. Menominee, Michigan Baby Carriage. c 1920. The condition is amazing. Retains most of it's original finish. Has scattered tiny rust spots on the painted black metal. Lining and pillow are in exc. condition. Tires are bright white with very little wear. Has a working brake. Adjustable back. Bonnet can be positioned in a variety of positions with the two wing nuts. About 34 inches tall with the bonnet raised. 30 inches long. 10 1/2 inches wide. Wheels about 9 inches in diameter. The antique Horsman doll is not included. The doll is listed in another of my auctions. Baby carriage is In Excellent condition. We always combine shipping. I feel the need to disclose the potentially supernatural occurrences surrounding this carriage: The first night we pulled it out of storage to get ready to sell. The sulky was positioned a few feet from the bottom of our bed. I woke with a start, sat up in bed and heard the sulky's handle squeak as it moved about 20°. Creepy. The clock read 2:19 am. This was ... morevery disturbing and caused an unrestful night. The next night I moved it out of the bedroom into the hallway. I woke up again at 2:19 am- terrified. I walked out of the bedroom into the hallway to head for the bathroom and watched the sulky carefully as I passed it. On my way back, feeling better and a bit silly, I immediately noticed the seat area seemed blurry somehow, as if it was out of focus. I reached down into the seat area and my hand felt chilly air. I quickly pulled my hand back, then got my courage up and tried it a few times more to be sure- the same chill everytime. Now I was really getting uneasy and my skin was crawling. I moved the sulky into the garage and haven't noticed any more odd phenomenon since. Who knows the true history of whatever might have happened to this piece in its long history. Please let me know if you notice any similar oddities around the sulky.

For auction is a near mint condition Patent Oct. 16. 1917 Wicker Baby Carriage manufactured by Lloyd Loom Products of Memominee, Michigan. The logo signage label is on the axle brace. The Baby carriage is completely original except for the cotter pins holding the wheels on. There is three original hubcaps and one added hubcap. The wicker and inside cloth material are still in great condition. The 10 1/2 inch wooden spoke wheels are in great shape with hardly any wear on the rubber tires. The back right wheel axle had a slight bend but this was corrected by the seller. ANTIQUE LLOYD WICKER CAR SEAT BABY CARRY DOLL BUGGY CARRIAGE
This is an antique child/baby seat made by Lloyds Loom Co. I anticipate it to be turn of the century and used to transport babies in wagons or the new-fangled automobiles. It is about 28" long. It has an adjustable handle on the back to adjust the front valence. Canopy also adjusts with wing nuts. Wicker is in excellent condition- one wear spot on the canopy and a few slightly frayed ends. Some rust in the steel base and one wood cross member appears to have been replaced. It has a leather strap with"Lloyd" tooled in the middle. The end snap pulled through so I glued it with some VLP cement. I will ship in as small of box as I can which will mean taking off the canopy so some assembly will be required. This listing is for a LLOYD LOOM WICKER BABY/DOLL BUGGY CARRIAGE. It still has a brass tag marked LLOYD LOOM with a Patent Date of 1917. This charming old baby doll carriage is about 30" long x 11" wide at wheels and 25 1/2" tall. The handle is about 24" high. The bed is about 15 1/2" long x 9" wide. It is in great overall condition noting wear to rubber on wheels and a bit of wicker fray at one edge. What a great addition this would make to any collection or as a gift to a little girl. Michigan Rubber Wheels- Dropping 2 Position Back- Foot Brake AUTHENTIC- Unrestored Well Maintained Toy Gorgeous Condition- Made in 1925 At auction is featured a fantastic Estate Sale purchase from the Willamette Valley in Oregon. Listed is this lovely antique wicker Baby Doll Carriage made by Lloyd Loom Products of Menominee. Michigan in 1925. This is the same Carriage seen featured in the 1925 edition of the November Ladies' Home Journal. This carriage is all original in lightly played-with condition and everything works WELL. Paint is missing from the wooden handle. One of the locking eyelets on the drop down back appears to have been repaired-by-Dad with a different sized eyelet, and the fabric has many small marks/stains, but no smells or signs of repair. ... moreThe wrought iron metal armature is in near mint condition, the foot brake works and locks into position strongly, and the hardware holding the Wicker Bonnet is firm and snug, allowing you to adjust the Bonnet to multiple positions. The rubber wheels show signs of wear from use, but are evenly worn and have NONE of the shrinking gaps one normally sees when rubber dries out. Rubber wheels remain hydrated and ready to use condition. Shipping should be stress free as this is a very sturdy(still) and well constructed baby doll stroller. Vintage 1900s Lloyd Of Menominee Michigan Wicker Baby Stroller Patent Label 1917
This is a greenish colored painted wicker Baby Stroller Made by Lloyd of Menominee. MI. The original label is still attached to the underside, and it gives a patent date of October 1917. The stroller DOES NOT HAVE THE CANOPY, and has a mattress that may be a later addition. The wheels have som bending(two worse than the others) but still roll fine. The braking system is intact but needs to be lubricated and adjusted. The rear latch holds the back panel up as intended. The wicker itself is in good solid condition, with a few spots that have breaks(see pics please) The body of this stroller measures approximately 22" long and 9-1/2" wide, with the edge of the stroller measuring 20-1/2" off the ground and the handle about 26-1/2" up. Antique LLOYD Wicker Baby / Doll Carriage / Buggy ~ Very Unique Rare Adjustable
Antique Wicker Baby or Doll Carriage This antique carriage had belonged to my grandmother. I'm not sure if it was hers when she was little or if she had purchased it but she used it to display a large doll. This unique carriage is made of wicker. Metal and leather. It says Lloyd on both of the front hubcaps. The canopy, the back part of the seat and the foot rest are all adjustable. The canopy is hinged and can be positioned either up or down. there are two metal keys on each side that loosen& tighten the canopy) The back of the seat has 4 or 5 different settings- the baby can sit up or lay down. The foot rest can be lowered if the child is sitting and can be raised if the child is laying down so that his/her feet are level. It measures approx. 29" tall(to the top of the canopy/ hood) and approx. 52" from end to end(from ... morethe end of the canopy to the end of the handle) and is approx. 20 1/2" wide(including the metal locks on each side) The handle measures approx. 26" long. The seat measures approx. 10 1/2" wide x 9" deep. The front wheels are approx. 10 1/2" in diameter. The rear wheels are approx. 2 1/2" in diameter. It is in good condition for its age. There is a lighter discolored spot near the top of the canopy. There are some nicks along the edge of the wicker trim, the cloth on the underside of the canopy has some stains and a couple of tears in the fabric, the wheels squeak when rolled, there is a little bit of light rust in spots and it is a little dusty.
