It has rolled sides and so me scrolls. It is in as-found condition and could use a bit of restoration or you could leave it just as is and it would make a wonderful display stroller for old bisque dolls or old teddy bears. Could use some glue on the back rest but the wicker itself is in remarkable condition considering how old it is and having n e ver been painted. The cushions are old and filled with excelsior. Obvioiusly. This old buggy is not perfect so please buy it as shown. It is really quite impressive in person and quite large. Rough measurements are about 45" long. 20" wide, 35" to top of handle. The back wheels are a big 22" in diame ter and the front wheels are 14" The wheels roll freely and smoothly. The undercarriage is metal with some old green paint and maybe some white pin striping.not sure. The parasol holder is on the handle. THERE ARE 25+ PICTURES PLEASE CHECK ALL OF THEM! Antique Victorian wicker doll baby buggy or pram. The buggy is in very good condition. The wicker is intact along with the pie shaped celluloid windows on each side of the buggy. It measures 29 inches long, 13 1/2 inches wide and 30 inches tall. The inside of the buggy measures 9 inches wide and 20 1/2 inches long. The brake mechanism is in working order. It has a steel frame, steel springs, a wooden handle, and steel foot brake. Also a reclining back. The rubber on the wheels has oxidized and is very hard. The rubber on one of wheel has broken off. There is also a parasol holder with a screw to hold it in place. Dimensions are about 40" long for the carriage with the foot rest extended and 36” with the foot rest folded back x 19" wide carriage and 24” wheel to wheel width x 36-3/4" tall(including handle) All four wheels have a diameter is 14” It weighs about 30 pounds. This buggy is in original condition with the exception of the newer upholstered side cushions. Those cushions need some attention as they are a bit loose fitting. The wicker is quite good with only a few broken reeds in the woven bottom seat along with some minor surface soiling. A slight warp to the foot rest can be seen in the photo above. Vintage 60's Welsh Doll Carriage in original played with condition. Measure about 26"long. 17" wide, 27"30" tall. Vinyl is is good shape other than the hood material shrunk over the years, so when you try to lock open the hood all the way it pulls the stitching loose(see pics of hood) One hubcap is dented and one is missing, the other two are in good condition. Metal body is in good condition with normal scuffing and scratches on front edges(see pic) Chrome, springs, and wheels are in good used condition just slight scuffing and rust here and there, nothing steel wool wouldn't remove. Rolls very well and is still very useable. Another one of my estate sale Relics. The Buggy is estate fresh and needs a detailed Clening. I have done nothing to clean it. I leave the cleaning to the collectors. The opening measures approx 13 x 28. There is some slight surface rust on the chrome handle which should clean up nicely with a little chrome polish. The Iron has surface rust.And could easily be sanded and re-painted. The Vinyl is grey with a blue design,and is in good condition. There is a small tare on the top bonnet where the first rib is,and a few small tares on the inside cradle. The tares on the inside cradle are on the crumb cover,and not the actual cradle itself. There is a cover that snaps over the opening allowing for only the baby's head to be seen. I wouldn't feel comfortable putting my baby in the stroller,but it would make a great doll stroller. Measures 32" long x 16" wide x 29" tall This carriage is made of brown woven wicker. There are some areas where the pieces are broken. It has a steel frame with a wooden handle that has a lot of rust due to it's age. There is rubber on the steel rimmed wooden spoke wheels, the rubber has a lot of wear. The top of the carriage has 2 small round windows with lace covering. The inside of the carriage is very clean. There is a board on the bottom lined with cream colored linen with attached eyelet. Vintage Bilt-Rite Doll Baby Carriage Stroller Buggy
This is a vintage Bilt-Rite baby/doll carriage that has been in my parent's attic since about the late 1960's. I believe it was built sometime in the 1950's. Generally very good condition with working suspension. Vinyl is in good condition with no rips or tears but the top of the rail on the left side is beginning to lift. Chrome on the handle. Suspension, wheels and hubcaps is rough and would need to be replated or painted. Fogged paint on the sides of the body is in very good condition. Unfortunately because of the size and bulk of this item, I've got to make it pick-up only from Washington, NJ 07882 but I could possibly delivery within a small radius. I THINK this is a reproduction really beautiful wicker baby buggy on metal frame. Rubber rimmed metal wheels. Buggy is in excellent. The buggy is white with beige trim. Some of the screws and bolts are been replaced. It is 33" x 13" x 30" up at the handle. 22 1/2 up to top of buggy. It has twine/strings that hold up the top that hook to little knobs on the top of the basket part of the buggy. It has a little pillow that comes with it but no other bedding. Thank you for looking. Here is a great antique toy stroller baby buggy. I got this from a lady that was in her eighties that had this since she was a little girl. She thinks she got it in the 40's. The sides are wood and the foot rest is wood. Everything works fine even the tires roll though there are cracks in the rubber. This folds down for easy storage. Description: vintage 1950's pink and flower designed metal Baby Doll Carriage/Buggy. I purchased this buggy from its original owner. Who said it was theirs when they were small, and that person is 55 years old. I am not sure what material the buggy is made out of. But the material feels like the material of a shower curtain. Measurement: buggy is about 20 inches long. Around 23 to 24 inches tall from the floor to the very top and about 9 inches wide. Contents: 1950's pink and flower designed metal Baby Doll Carriage/Buggy. Condition: a large part of the material connecting around the metal bars is either torn off or has cuts or slits. This is primarily the case on the top parts of the buggy. The material also has some dirty parts and stains in certain areas. Primarily noticeable on the pink area. The metal parts of the buggy are still ... morein good shape. With only minor rusting in certain areas. The buggy still folds up okay and the wheels are still in pretty good shape and the buggy still rolls nicely. There are minor dents and leans on some of the metal areas. There are no holes or cuts on the bottom area where the baby lays. Overall condition is okay for its age. Everything seems to be original and It would make a nice looking restored vintage baby buggy. 11 1/2" diameter with the hub having a 1/2" diameter center hole. Hub is 2 3/8" in depth. Paint on the wooden hubs and spokes is original and sort of a yellowish cream with one side being accented with red striping. Rubber on the tires is good with one having about a 3/16" separation between the rubber joint. Rims are steel. They're pretty nice. Antique baby doll stroller,carriage,buggy,circa 1870
This circa 1870s doll stroller is in really good shape for the year it was made. The body is made of rattan wicker and wood. Wheels are made from Brentwood metal with steel rims.The canopy is made of canvas. Also the canopy opens and closes. From top of canopy to bottom of wheels measures 35' the basket measures 23' long, 15' wide, the handle to the back of the basket measures 40' long. This stroller has been one of the most favorite conversation pieces in my home for years due to the strange way it looks. Stroller is in great shape, no rips, tears, broken wicker. It has been taken care of very well. Cleaned only with warm cloth to remove dust, never cleaned with any chemicals. Vintage Antique WICKER BABY Doll Toy Carriage Buggy Stroller WOOD Handle NICE!!
What a great find! We came across this fabulous early baby doll buggy with an ornate wooden handle. Sun shade canopy functions perfectly and flips from front to back easily. Wheels are intact and roll along as they should. The frame is metal. There is some paint wear on the handle- see pictures 8& 9. Let's talk about the wicker. Overall the wicker is in very good condition. There ARE spots where the wicker has torn.see pictures 6& 7. There are some loose ends also in the sun shade canopy.see last photo. Lastly it appears as if at some point in time a craftsman has made some mends as we notice a color differential in some parts of the buggy. Small Vintage Baby Doll Stroller Collection Toy Buggy Ratan Carriage
This Baby Doll Carriage would make a great addition to any collection. I tried to get good pictures from every view so you can see the very detailed work of art that this piece is. The buggy area(doll holder area) measures 6" long. 3 1/4" wide at the front and back, 10" tall from bottom of wheels to top of carriage, 1 3/4" wide on the inside, and the stroller handle is 3" from the buggy. The cover and inside buggy is in good condition and made out of a very thick black strong material. The buggy is made of a sturdy wood, and embellished with wicker or rattan designs on each side, and front and back. The wheels are made of cast iron, and the rods on the wood handle also. So Charming.The Carriage is made from natural wicker with spindle wheels and dripping with ivory lacy frills. Ivory and pink ribbons, matching dried flowers and a hand made lace tatting doily. I'm not sure of it's actual age. But the relatives handling the Estate know that it has been present in the home for quite some time. The natural wicker is in fine condition. I see no sign of damage. This stroller has been stored and even though I vacuumed it. It still shows dust and could use some wood polish on wood parts. It stands 29 1/2" high at highest point(push handle) and 29" long and 12 1/2" across. There is no canopy. I don't know if it is real old or not. A beautiful baby doll buggy made in the Amish Country of Illinois. I bought three of these back in the 1980's. Just sold the small one. This is the large one and I've also a medium sized one that I'm keeping. They are made of canvas, wood and metal. Very solid, sturdy and extremely well made. This large one has no issues or concerns. The handle to push the buggy is slanted and that's how it was when I bought it. It does roll w/o a problem. The bonnet can be moved up and down, but would need to be oiled. I used this for displaying numerous decorative items over the years~bears, dolls, Christmas bulbs, wrapped gifts, etc. I've also seen these used for holding toilet tissue and soaps in Victorian bathrooms. It was bought for her in the early 1950's and on the receipt was the price of $21.95. It is a wood construction painted a slate gray blue with red and white trim not usually seen. There is some minor wear to the paint in areas. The metal parts need a good cleaning and show some wear and rust. All 4 metal Thayer hubcaps are still attached. Vinyl hood has some tears in some areas but overall condition is quite good. Still has flat vinyl cover that attaches to the buggy. In the 1950s. Thayer was one of the best-known makers of baby carriages and strollers in the eastern USA, offering, too, a full line of doll buggies made to look just like the“real” thing. VINTAGE WICKER DOLL BABY CARRIAGE BUGGY WITH ADJUSTABLE HEAD REST & FOOT BRAKE
This Vintage Wicker Baby Doll carriage is in good condition. It does show age appropriate ware and tare to it. The wicker on the carriage is still in tack. No holes or damages present as pictured. It has an adjustable hood which flips two ways and an adjustable head rest. The inside of the carriage is in good condition as pictured. The metal frame is still in tact but does have rust present. The wheels are as pictured and the foot brake does not work needs an adjustment. SPECIAL FIND! Vintage antique baby buggy/ carriage/ stroller/ doll pram. Wicker with maroon velvet lining. Carved wooden push-handle. Metal wheels and spokes. Measures approximately 36"L x 13"W x 24"H. Small tears/rub-marks in interior on upper corners/edges of velvet(see pics) with other minor issues. Vintage Green & White Flowers Baby Doll Carriage Buggy Stroller Plastic
This is a vintage plastic baby doll carriage(probably from the 1960s or'70s) I couldn't find a manufacturer on the product. It's green with white flowers and a vinyl canopy that folds down. The handle and frame are chrome. I believe, and there's a spring underneath the carriage that holds it in place. There are some scrapes from use, and the plastic that held one of the wheels in place(at the back of the wheel) has been replaced with a piece of duct tape, so that wheel(back right) is a bit wobbly. One of the two holes by which the carriage attaches to the frame is torn at the bottom. But still holds the carriage in place(see fourth photo) Note:The spot in the photo is dirt, which I've since wiped away. The mattress pad is not included. The carriage is 19" long and 10" wide not counting the handle. The height ... moreis 18.5" with the canopy down and 35.5" tall with it up. Mass in Commemoration of Sixty-Five Years of Continuous Production. There is a photo of this carriage as a"recent" model in the book, which would date it to c.1920. The carriage comes with a fabric doll as described below. Scroll down to see more photos of the doll and carriage. The carriage comes from the attic of a historic home and the doll was with it. So we are including it with the carriage. Condition: Carriage is in amazing condition for its age! See photos. Very Difficult to find one. Let alone one that does not have layers of spray paint on it! We've included tons of photos and lots of detail so please look carefully. The doll must have been loved more than the Velveteen Rabbit, as she is hug-worn and the fabric, has some signs of hand-stitched mending, considerable wear at some of the seams, a cut on one arm, and at the back of her head the fabric is split. Loads of charm, though, and repairable for a nice display. Doll is an old one and appears to be stuffed with cotton batting or maybe wool- definitely not fiberfill or poly.
