The inside of the buggy is made of a black canvas as is the hood. The buggy stands approx. 11" high and it is 10" from the end of the handle to the back of the hood. The bed of the buggy is 3" deep and 6" wide. The wheels are in excellent working condition. The buggy has no tears or cracks visible. Simply amazing Estate Sale find. It is wicker and canvas and wood and steel wheels. The condition is very very good. It is dirty and needs a good cleaning. It has clearly been in a barn for a long time. I am not going to clean it. I'll leave it to the new owners. There are a couple of flaws. One piece of wicker is broken but still present and the'handlebar' has been chewed on, on one end. The canvas top is solid and the folding mechanism works. I did buy it at an estate sale and it had an old faded hand written tag on it for $375. A great restoration project in the making. The wheels have wooden spokes. A steel rim, and appear to be wrapped in a hard rubber. The spokes on three of the wheels are in tact and strong. One of the large wheels is missing a spoke, has a loose one, and has a loose one with a crack in the end of the wood. We can see the end of the spoke, the rim side on the loose one, has a pin in the top of the wood that appears to have been pinned through the rim. 11 1/2" diameter with the hub having a 1/2" diameter center hole. Hub is 2 3/8" in depth. Paint on the wooden hubs and spokes is original and sort of a yellowish cream with one side being accented with red striping. Rubber on the tires is good with one having about a 3/16" separation between the rubber joint. Rims are steel. They're pretty nice. What a great find! We came across this fabulous early baby doll buggy with an ornate wooden handle. Sun shade canopy functions perfectly and flips from front to back easily. Wheels are intact and roll along as they should. The frame is metal. There is some paint wear on the handle- see pictures 8& 9. Let's talk about the wicker. Overall the wicker is in very good condition. There ARE spots where the wicker has torn.see pictures 6& 7. There are some loose ends also in the sun shade canopy.see last photo. Lastly it appears as if at some point in time a craftsman has made some mends as we notice a color differential in some parts of the buggy. Please review pictures carefully and let us know if you need more! In our opinion the wicker variances are minor and don't detract much at all from the overall presentation of this terrific ... morepiece. Measurements: Overall length is 26 1/2 inches-measured from handle to nose of carriage. Height is 22 inches from ground to handle. Up for auction and your consideration a wonderful small vintage Baby Buggy with black metal and wood and also a rattan design throughout the buggy. Has moving wheels and wood handle for pushing. Vinyl hood has some tears in some areas but overall condition is quite good. Still has flat vinyl cover that attaches to the buggy. In the 1950s. Thayer was one of the best-known makers of baby carriages and strollers in the eastern USA, offering, too, a full line of doll buggies made to look just like the“real” thing. Rare Vintage Stroller for doll or baby This unit it large enough to be used for an actual baby. Some of the noteable features of this carriage include: It folds up for storage or transport. The leg/foot rest adjust from going straight out to pivoting so it is under the seat and virtually unseen. The back rest folds down to the point of the seat. The canopy pivots to either direction. The canopy material had some rips in it- tape. Glue, paint were used to prevent further damage. Has a lever that can be moved to brake a back wheel when parked. Antique baby carriage buggy 1800's wood metal leather PRAM parasol cover Large
Very Nice 1800's baby carriage that has been restored. It is in excellent condition having been stored for last 10 years and not display. While this is not our expertise we will answer any questions. This is baby or small child size not a doll size. It is fairly large measuring approx 45" to top of parasol approx 50" long from handle to front. 24" wide at wheels. Parasol measures 21"x16" Front wheels approx 20" diameter. Rear wheels approx 24" diameter. The previous owners spent $1,200 restoring it to display in their home. It is upholstered in what appears to be leather. The frame is metal and the handle is turned wood. The wheels are wood. There are 2 screws missing that we have noticed, one that holds the head rest detail at one end(the other end connects to parasol upright) and one screw where the ... morepush handle joins the back of the carriage seat(it is one of 4) doesn't affect performance. Easy fixes obviously, just pointing out what we observed. The canopy or parasol leans slightly to the left when viewed from rear(not a big deal and the head rest screw may fix the lean) Black sides and rear covers were made in 3 pieces and snap on at top and bottom and have a strap that allow them to be unsnapped at the bottom and rolled up and tied at the top. The rear panel has small window. Having been restored I know for the purist it is not in original condition but it was professionally done. The wheels and frame have gold detail on black that is very striking. It is in display ready condition. While this is available for local pick up we will assist in shipping or freight any way possible. Note FREE shipping is to the contiguous 48 states and assumes basic dis-assembly taking the wheels. There are 2 separate pieces to the baby buggy carriage which are original to each other and came together-the pieces are not attached to each other as the straps and mechanisms which held them together are not present-please view pics of the two separate pieces-pieces are original to each other and the carriage and were one unit when made in the 19th century(see pics) I will mail these pieces separately(in individual boxes) because of the size& weight consideration when mailing. There are two sections as stated. THIS IS A VERY PRIMITIVE LOOKING STROLLER. CARRIAGE, BUGGY. IT HAS 3 WHEELS THAT TURN, A SEAT THAT IS LEATHER AND CUSHIONED. IT IS MADE OF CANVAS, METAL AND WOOD. GREAT FOR A HOME DECOR PIECE OR TO LET A CHILD USE FOR A DOLL. BUGGY IS 12 1/2" TALL, 10" WIDE, THE CUSHIONED SET IS 3" X 3" IN VERY GOOD SHAPE.

Antique Victorian Black Baby Buggy Carriage with Wood Wheels Circa 1870
A very old Antique Black Victorian Push Baby Buggy Carriage that was built to emulate a real buggy. Note all photos with the exquiste craftsmanship! Era is around the late 1800's and the circa date is 1870. There is still some original paint and pinstripes. The body and wheels are good. The top is good but the button tucked seat needs redone. It needs overall restoration work. Please note photos and email with all questions! Dimensions 36 inches tall with top off; 46 inches tall with top on; 62 inches long handle bar to front wheel; 27 inches wide at the wheels. Antique Stlyle Cute Wicker & Wood Ginny Size Baby Doll Buggy Great Condition
Adorable little antique style? vintage dollie buggy made out of wicker with wood wheels. The hood bonnet seems like an imitation leather fabric or something similar; it may have shrunk over time so it is not as stretchy as it once was-I can't be certain.
