Vintage 1940's Taylor Tot Stroller
This is a super cute vintage Taylor Tot push car. Can also be converted into a walker. This cute little car has a new coat of paint and a chevron fabric covered seat. The red bow can easily be removed. Simply untie. There is a fabric loop on the chair, allows you to hook on toys and not have to worry about them becoming lost. I contemplated painting this item. Some people prefer it in the original state. But honestly. I pushed my little guy around in this buggy/car. The original paint was chipped, and the wood was worn(not damaged, but average wear for the age) I felt better about putting my son in this push car with new paint and fabric. Vintage 1940's-50's Taylor Tot Stroller (Complete and Rare) American Restoration
Today up for bids is a Rare Taylor Tot Stroller from the 40's or 50's. One of these rare strollers was restored on the TV show"American Restoration" on History Channel last season. Once restored their stroller brought $1.500. This item is complete and original but will need to be restored to be mint as you can tell from the pictures. There are some cracks on the white rubber on the bumpers and the wood seat also has some cracking. The metal pieces are in nice shape and would need a paint job to look new. Good overall condition for its age. Some surface rust and peeling paint. Surface rust is not invasive. Red bead is missing. Small indentation on left side of seat. Otherwise. Very solid as is. There is a date stamp on underside of seat. Can't read the day but can make out 5/56. Not sure what exactly the date represents. If postage is less I will refund the difference if it is significant.

VINTAGE 1930'S SHULER STREAMLINER CUSTOM RESTORATION NOT TAYLOR TOT
Seen one of thses at the Car Shows lately? Your baby will be the hit of the parade! OOAK Not your average Taylor Tot Baby Stroller. This is a custom restoration of a Shuler Streamliner from the late 30's. I restored this stroller myself and have more photos of the restoration process if desired. All metal parts. Excluding the wheels, were stripped and bead blasted to bare metal. All metal parts were then Powder Coated to give it a long lasting durable finish including the fenders which is a new high gloss powder coat paint. All wood was replaced matching the original, primed and painted to match with enamel automotive paint. All hardware is color matched. All the tires are in excellent shape, no nicks or cuts. Seat pad included. Pin stripping was done by a local artist to reflect the 30's era. Metal trim is 34 chevy hood trim, buffed ... morestainless steel. The trunk liner was cardboard and replace with aluminum. What makes this stroller unique is it has a Trunk. Rear door opens and has storage for your baby items. Vintage Taylor Tot Stroller with Wheel Cowlings 1930-60s Blue and White
This is an intact Taylor Tot stroller from the 1930-60s. This model has Streamlined Wheel Cowlings and all wheels turn and have their rubber. The left rear rubber wheel rim is a little flattened because of the braking mechanism that locks into that wheel. Some of the paint is worn off as pictured. There is a removable metal foot rest and removable push handle. The playbeads are wooden as is the seat. With the handle and foot rest removed these strollers were used by semi-walking children to motivate themselve around like a walker car. The pictures are all of the actual item that we are selling. We will ship the stroller with the push handle removed and folded by the removal of one screw which will be secured back in the empty hole and protected by good packing materials. Our mother has gone into assisted living and we are emptying the house. SHIPPING: Local pick-up is not only offered. It is encouraged! The shipping charge includes insurance and professional packing and shipping; any overcharge will be returned to the buyer. The shipping quoted is for the Lower 48 only; shipping to Alaska or Hawaii is prohibitively expensive. We are unable to ship this stroller internationally. If shipped. This item will be in the mail within 5 days of purchase. w w w w I really have no idea about the brand of this old stroller. It looks like a Taylor Tot. But it has a bell, no tray. The front wheels are smaller than the back. Suggesting it is an early model of ... morewhatever brand. There is a clean spot and a little bit of label on the seat. It appears to have been oblong. About 3” x 1” mostly gold with a thin red band around the edge. Sound familiar? If you know the brand. I’d appreciate hearing from you so I can update this listing. Thanks. Depending on the age. This either belonged to my mother(1920s) or to me(1940s) Given the different size tires. I would guess earlier rather than later. While in rough shape. This is salvageable. There are splits in the rubber bumper at top edge. But no pieces are missing. Pieces of the lower bumper are missing. The back tires and front left tires(all hard rubber) are intact; the front right is missing. There is considerable rust and includes some pitting. But it is not bad enough to damage structural integrity. The seat and front bumper under the rubber is a pale blue. The metal seat back was probably a cream color. The good news? Taylor Tot Baby Stroller Vintage Old 50s Metal Wood Handle Push Bar Bumpers P-45
Very Vintage metal and wood Taylor Tot toddler stroller. Marked on the bottom of the seat as Model P-45. Which dates this to approximately late 1940s or early 1950s. Seems to be all original with the exception of a wing nut and bolt on the mid-section of the handle. Also one of the bumper nuts/bolts looks to have been replaced at some point. Does not look to have been restored at all and there is wear to the bumpers(the rubber has hardened and cracked over time) and also general overall wear, commensurate with age and use. The wood seat appears to have the original paint and the wood is dry and has visible line cracks. Measures approximately 26" long from bumper to bumper. Here's a nice vintage blue& white baby stroller/walker in un-restored condition(if my pics or description don't give enough info. Please contact me with questions) NOTE: I usually ship world-wide. But this item will only be shipped in the USA, no international shipping. Pretty sure this was made in by Taylor Tot. Not dated, but would guess the 1950's, it measures about 36" tall at the handle. This looks complete and original, I can't see anything obvious that is missing, it has all 4 fenders, front& rear bumpers, lower deck, and tray with wooden beads. Front wheels swivel nicely, all 4 wheels turn freely, but I'm sure some oil or WD-40 wouldn't hurt. There is some paint wear and chipped paint, also surface rust(some a bit heavy, but I can't see any that has rusted through) The rubber bumper material ... moreis pretty hard and subject to cracking. Stroller has slotted rear wheels for brake system, the brake lever moves, but I did not force it very far(needs lube) This will be shipped in pieces as shown in the last pics(easy to put back together) When I took it apart, the screws& nuts came off easily, they were not rusted tight or stripped. Up for auction is a vintage Taylor Tot baby stroller. This was saved from a scrap metal clean-up. So it is lacking a few of its original parts. The wheels are worn but all are intact. The rubber bumper is in place, although age and wetness has caused it to harden. The wooden seat is in very good condition. The netting/metal around the back of the seat is also in remarkably good condition. We have had a couple folks make offers on this one when it came into the shop. We have decided to list it here. Though; it should make a unique display piece for the right person. We would advise against placing a toddler in it. Shipping is going to be a bit tricky. But we will figure something out. Here is a recent estate find in Maryland. This is a Taylor Tot Deluxe model stroller/walker with wheel Shirts. Park brake and adjustable seat back which raises and reclines! If you look at some of the other ones on ebay you'll see the differences in this model from the others. I believe this is the 1948 model but not positive. When I aquired this it had some restoration done but it was incomplete. Some of the red paint is flaking in spots. Some of the bolts and screws were missing or were the incorrect size and falling out/ or off. I've installed the correct size bolts, nuts, washers and screws and tightened everything up and lubed the wheels and pivots so it works and rolls smoothly. I'll leave any other restorations to the buyer to do with what they want. This is an excellent example of this model. The brake lever moves easily ... morewith a push of your foot to lock rods into holes in the rear wheels. Looks all original except for paint. Vintage Taylor Tot Twosome Stroller 1956 - P57
Here is an original Taylor Tot purchased from the owner who used it for her now 55 year old daughter back in the day. It is an attic find and cleaned up quite well. It is an unusual Taylor as it comes with a rack bottom and not the typical tray. The rack was extremely dirty but really cleaned up well. Another unusual feature is the bar still attached to back sides of seat to use for a chld to hold on to who would be sitting behind the seat. It's still got its colored beads although certainly faded and rubber bumpers on front and back. Some splitting has occured but it's all there. A bit of rust here and there, mainly tray area. It appears the blue on the seat back is a little lighter than the rest of the stroller except the bar holding the handle; that appears the lighter blue as well. The manufacturer date is February 1956 and the ... moremodel number is P 57(thanks to a helpful ebayer who informed me what's what with this twosome) Per the owner, this stroller is original. WOW WOW WOW WOW I am not sure what to think about this AMAZING Taylor Tot stroller. It is either the best reproduction I have ever seen. Someone took a great deal of time restoring one or it has sat in a time capule for the last few decades! Perfect for use. Decorating or the collector. I see one small ding on the paint under on the tray. A bit of scuffing on the front part of the wood. The springs are strong. I took oodles of pictures, and I sure hope you enjoy viewing this unique cutie as much as I enjoyed painting it! From a barn sale last summer. This poor thing was, literally, rusting its life away in the corner of a barn. I cleaned it up, sanded it as best as I could, primed it, and then the fun began! Using bold primary colors, I just went NUTS making this once all-red stroller a dazzingly bright piece of eye candy! After the background colors were painted and sealed. I then went nuts again painting whimsical child-like animals all around. ... moreColorful owls, elephants on parade, a kitty, puppy, ducky and bunny are featured, with a large teddy bear painting adorning the wooden seat. Prim hearts, stars, polka-dots, and squiggles rounded out the painstakingly, all-done-by-hand paintings! Sealed several more times, and signed discretely by me on the tray under the seat. The 8 original wooden balls on the tray were jazzed up with primary colors to match the stroller. Every animal painting was outlined in black to make the painting"pop" out. Except for the sealant. Every painting, including the background colors, are not done with a spray paint.rather, everything was done painstakingly BY HAND with a paintbrush! This gem took me over 3 weeks to paint! All the wheels roll pretty smoothly. One wheel seems to have more rubber worn off than the other 3.this does not interfere with it rolling. But I wanted to mention it. The handle is strong and firmly in place, and will be removed for shipping purposes. I have not put any of my Grandchildren in this to test it out(my Grandchildren are all either too big or too small for this) But I would say it is safe to stroll a child around in it. This auction is for a two. Antique/ vintage Taylor Tot wheels and tires. These have the original tires. Cast into the tires is“THE GENUINE TAYLOR TOT. The tire diameter is approx. 6 inches with a width of 3/4 inch. The diameter of the rim or wheel is approx. 4 3/8 inches. The wheel is approx. 1 inch wide measured at the axle. The wheels ride on a 5/16 inch axle. As the photos show. These are in nice condition for their age. One issue is there is the remains of some writing with a black marker on one wheel. Both sides(left one in photos) I cleaned this up with lacquer thinner. Yet there is still some remains. I next tried polishing compound with no real luck. Something ore abrasive like rubbing compound might work or a repaint will cover this as it appears that the ink went into the wheels paint. The tires are also nice. Vintage GREEN Taylor Tot Stroller Walker Restored in 2012, NO RESERVE!
Vintage Green Taylor Tot baby stroller and walker. Complete. The last picture was how I had found this over a year ago abandoned in an old garage. I then completely disassembled and sanded all the rust and old paint off. I then chose a neutral(boy or girl) vintage green and white paint scheme and reassembled it. The original wheels were lumpy and long over due so I replaced the wheels. In the last year the original hardware has gotten a little surface rust that can be addressed with steel wool. I would prefer a local buyer to pick up but I will ship at a flat rate of $30 through USPS to the lower 48 states, I will ship further if the buyer pays shipping.
