Wicker measures about 13 inches across from side to side top and about 11 inches deep. 13 inches tall from the floor to the center back of the wicker top. There is some surface rust in spots and scrapes in the paint. There are no markings on the tires to indicate make. Here’s the weird part; they have different diameter axle holes with one at.318. Beautiful all original rubber cart wheel with wood spokes. The rim and center hub are metal. Shows its age and wear with surface rust through out. please see photo) Still looks really nice for its age. The diameter of the wheel is 12" and the axle hole is 1/2" The rubber is still in good shape with no signs of cracks. Just light usage wear. There is a nail in bedded. in the rubber tire. We found this piece at an old farmhouse. And it's in"farm fresh" condition and would look great as a decor piece. This piece was made in the late 1800's or very early 1900's by the Gendron Wheel Company in Toledo, Ohio. The buggy has a solid iron frame that is in good shape, a lined wicker basket with an adjustable cover and iron wheels with hard rubber tires. There is one panel on the end that lays down flat so you can get the baby in and out easily or lay them down flat to change a diaper. This is a great antique piece that would be a fun restoration ... moreproject and would make a great"rustic" decor piece as it sits now! Condition: This piece is antique and used with some wear. We picked this out of an old farmhouse and it's in"farm fresh" condition. So it is definitely not pristine. The iron frame has some pitting and oxidation throughout. The wicker basket has some wear with a some loose spots and some holes on the cover and near the edges. The interior liner has a lot of wear. The wheels have wear but are in good working condition. The stroller rolls easily, but the basket on it is becoming brittle in spots. Overall this is in rustic condition and would be great for restoration or display as is. Carriage body very good, light wear. Some wear to canopy, inside light wear. Chrome needs shined up has light surface rust. Wheels original slight to little wear white rubber type on outside. Frame sturdy and very good condition. Has a brake for secure stop. About 42" tall to top of canopy. 35" tall to push bar total length 36" long, with handle about 43" long. This is for the tool that you see here. I don't know much about this. Not sure how old. Just that it appears to be over 100 years old. Not sure. Very nice. used, but the rubber is not cracked. CHECK THIS BARN FIND OUT. I just picked this up from an old closed up Co-Op here in the backwoods of northern Michigan. This cool wooden and metal baby carriage is OLD. I was just informed that this is actually a VERY OLD baby wheel chair) This stroller/wheel chair stands a proud 36 inches tall and is 26 inches front to back. There is one turned dowel on the front that is broken(I'll be happy to glue and clamp it if someone wants me to. See the picture) The backrest board is missing. This was nailed on so it looks to be quite easy to replace. The tires are very nice with only a few places where the outer edge is missing(see pictures) The wheels are beautiful spoke wheels that are 10 inches across with a dozen metal spokes. 6 on the inside and six on the outside of each wheel. Surface rust throughout makes the patina totally awesome. The ... moreback handle is also turned wood. The metal frame is made of flat steel that must have been forged to turn and go around the axles. Both of the wooden arm rests and the bottom seat are still very nice and solid. There are four old strings/cords that are hanging on it that I'll just leave well enough alone as I think they ad even more character to this little carriage/ baby buggy/ wheel chair. We're located a beautiful 5 hour drive north west of the Mackinaw Bridge. High bidder is responsible for all actual shipping fees.
