I couldnt believe that something this old could have been kep in such beautiful condition all these years. It looks as though it was lovingly covered and stored for over 50 years. Even the shade cover I discovered in thhe front compartment appears to have never been used! The original chrome'fenders' are shiny and bright! This easily converts from a buggies to a stroller. The label reads Europe Import Co. Detroit. My asking price reflects the fine original condition but of course I'm always open to a good offer so don't be shy! I would equate this buggie to a low milage garaged 50's automoblie discovered after years of hibernation. It measures roughly 35"L x 34"T x 19" W. This is not a doll stroller. Antique Victorian wicker doll baby buggy or pram. The buggy is in very good condition. The wicker is intact along with the pie shaped celluloid windows on each side of the buggy. It measures 29 inches long, 13 1/2 inches wide and 30 inches tall. The inside of the buggy measures 9 inches wide and 20 1/2 inches long. The brake mechanism is in working order. It has a steel frame, steel springs, a wooden handle, and steel foot brake. Also a reclining back. The rubber on the wheels has oxidized and is very hard. The rubber on one of wheel has broken off. Up for sale is our family's Antique Wicker Baby Carriage/Buggy from The National company in Perrysburg. Ohio. This was purchased for my Grandfather, an only child and then 20 years later used for his daughters, then my mother used it for me. It has since been stored indoors for over 60 years. I have used it as a beautiful decoration with artificial flowers during the year and filled with fake wrapped presents at Christmas time. I remember my mother giving a baby shower for a friend and having me push the buggy in filled with wrapped presents. All the parts work on this buggy, and there is a little hidden compartment in the bottom that is covered with a fold back cloth top for keeping valuables, diapers, etc. The wooden wheels are beautiful. This is in its original condition. It measures approximately: 45-1/2 in. high with the bonnet in ... morean upright position, the entire length is approximately 47-1/2 in. long with the bonnet down, and 46 in. with the bonnet up. The wicker body only withe the bonnet down is approximately 33-1/2 in. long. The Bonnet is 21-1/2 in wide. The wood wheels are 14-1/4 in. across. This is pick up only, though I do travel a little so possibly an arrangement can be made for delivery or to meet part way. I am selling this only because I have downsized and neither of my two children likes or wants this-they are not into antiques. This would look so gorgeous on a large porch with flowers in it, or as it was meant to be used for a baby. Please be aware that I do not accept returns. There is no reserve price on this. The carriage body with its fanciful curvy lines is constructed of woven wicker with a turned wood handle. Everything else is metal. The metal wheels with hard rubber rims work quite smoothly. There is also a parasol holder with a screw to hold it in place. Dimensions are about 40" long for the carriage with the foot rest extended and 36” with the foot rest folded back x 19" wide carriage and 24” wheel to wheel width x 36-3/4" tall(including handle) All four wheels have a diameter is 14” It weighs about 30 pounds. This buggy is in original condition with the exception of the newer upholstered side cushions. Those cushions need some attention as they are a bit loose fitting. The wicker is quite good with only a few broken reeds in the woven bottom seat along with some minor surface soiling. A slight warp to the foot rest can be seen in the photo above. Please check all photos carefully. And let me know if you want more. There is also surface oxidation and rust on the metal parts and paint loss on the handle. Simply amazing Estate Sale find. It is wicker and canvas and wood and steel wheels. The condition is very very good. It is dirty and needs a good cleaning. It has clearly been in a barn for a long time. I am not going to clean it. I'll leave it to the new owners. There are a couple of flaws. One piece of wicker is broken but still present and the'handlebar' has been chewed on, on one end. The canvas top is solid and the folding mechanism works. I did buy it at an estate sale and it had an old faded hand written tag on it for $375. Antique Covered Wicker Baby Carriage Buggy
Antique Wicker Baby Carriage. This full-size buggy has an adjustable canopy. There is no lining on the inside bottom. Wood handle& wood spoke wheels measuring 13 ¼” diameter. Hard rubber tires(well used) parking brake. The canopy slides forward. Both bars for that are there and they work but one is somewhat bent. It still rolls very smooth and easy. This would be nice if restored. I bought and used it for display only for antique dolls and baby quilts and clothes for the past 25 years. The buggy measures 34 ½ inches high from floor to handle without bonnet. The front wheels still have the rubber on them but the rubber is dried out and hard. The back wheels do not have the rubber on them. It appears the wicker was originally mint green. Most of that color is off. The carriage does not include the doll or blankets shown in pictures.

The top of the carriage has 2 small round windows with lace covering. The inside of the carriage is very clean. There is a board on the bottom lined with cream colored linen with attached eyelet. What a great find! We came across this fabulous early baby doll buggy with an ornate wooden handle. Sun shade canopy functions perfectly and flips from front to back easily. Wheels are intact and roll along as they should. The frame is metal. There is some paint wear on the handle- see pictures 8& 9. Let's talk about the wicker. Overall the wicker is in very good condition. There ARE spots where the wicker has torn.see pictures 6& 7. There are some loose ends also in the sun shade canopy.see last photo. Lastly it appears as if at some point in time a craftsman has made some mends as we notice a color differential in some parts of the buggy. So Charming.The Carriage is made from natural wicker with spindle wheels and dripping with ivory lacy frills. Ivory and pink ribbons, matching dried flowers and a hand made lace tatting doily. I'm not sure of it's actual age. But the relatives handling the Estate know that it has been present in the home for quite some time. The natural wicker is in fine condition. I see no sign of damage. The piece is more a prop than play wear. Though the wheels do indeed turn In two pieces. The top Cradle can be removed from the base and wheel section. Antique Wicker Baby Carriage Buggy Pram~Converts to Stroller~WOW!
You are bidding on an AWESOME estate find in this antique wicker baby carriage. Full size.not for dolls) As you can see in the pictures. It converts to a stroller, both flat and with head elevated and dropped footrest. Although not without some flaws. It is in amazing condition for its age! I find no broken wicker. The wheels and fenders give it a real"Cadillac Elegance" look. The wheels are 7 1/2" diameter and have the original Westland rubber tires. The wheels HAVE been painted on the outside surface, but this is the only"restoration" I find. The wooden surfaces had all been originally painted yellow, and this paint is flakiing off.A LOT! The steel handle easily disconnects from the buggy for storage. And is rubber-coated across the top. The hood also easily disconnects. The steel undercarriage is also painted yelllow. ... moreAnd also flaking off. Two wheels have the original leather strap connection, one has NO connection, and the other is held together with twine. The worst flaw I find is that there is a wooden support bar across the hood. And this is broken. It lies between the wicker and the plastic lining, so to repair it would require removing the lining. You can't see it, and it does not alter the look of the buggy except for where the lining is drooping somewhat in that area where it was attched to the bar. The steel hub caps and fenders have suffered some corrosion over the years. Some places worse than others. As can be seen in the 10th picture. There is an expandable pouch at the foot of the buggy for storage(diapers, bottles, etc. The rest of the pictures show the underside. This comes with the original straw-filled mattress. And original ticking, although I doubt you would want to use it for a baby! One side is in fine shape. The other side has a hole in the tickiing, and also shows staining. Mattress measures 26" x 14" Measurements are: 36" from front to back; hood measures 18" wide. Height is 32" to top of hood. I am not an antique dealer. But I have

Authentic Antique Heywood-Wakefield Wicker Rattan Baby Carriage/Buggy- A WOW'ER!
H-W(Heywood-Wakefield) Wicker Baby Buggy with fully functional features! For your consideration. A beautiful& authentic Heywood-Wakefield wicker rattan baby carriage buggy. The buggy is in very good shape- being all original materials. Wicker body, metal framing, wood handle and spokes. The carriage has many notable features that are all in great working order: A thick wooden push handle with original paint A metal brake activation lever on the right side just below the push handle. This lever locks in the braking position when pushed all the way down- probably one of the first to have this feature. A metal lever on the left side. Towards the back and bottom of the wicker body, that controls the position of the foot end of the buggy. This lever locks into 2 positions- as can be seen in the photos. The back rest can be locked into 3 different ... morepositions with a spring loaded pull metal knob on the top of the back rest. The top canopy that provides the baby shade/blocking the light can be adjusted back and forth along 2 metal runners and can be position up or down on a pivot that has large wing nuts to tighten to secure. The mechanics for these adjustment are on the back of the top sides of the main body. Wooden spoked wheels with hub caps that had or have"H-W" painted on them- most of this has worn away but one is in pretty good and readable condition. All 4 wheels can easily be removed and be re-inserted by using a spring loaded button on the axle by each wheel. A pretty cool feature. Rubber wheels- the rubber was cracking in many places but was complete on all wheels- to help secure and protect the original rubber I filled the cracks and uneven places with black silicone. The silicone could be easily removed if so desired. The Heywood Bros. was one of the first companies in the mid-1870's to make baby carriages from rattan and reed. In 1883. Here is a beautiful antique primitive 1800s wicker and metal baby carriage. Buggy or pram. Measuring 44" long, 36" high and 18" wide, condition is excellent considering the age, with normal age patina on the metal, and typical aging of the rubber on the wheels. The wicker appears to be in remarkably wonderful shape with no holes or other visible issues. There are remnants of a sticker on the bottom which may have identified the manufacturer; however nothing really remains of any use in identifying the maker. Please e-mail any questions. A very smart Ebayer suggested that this would make a lovely photo prop. It is not large enough to hold a baby. But a child dressed in victorian christening dress, holding this lace covered.toy would make a very pretty picture. Note: someone just told me that because the wheels are wooden. This wicker stroller is awesome! It's got loads of charm! This wicker part of the stroller measures 19" x 9" As a whole it's 27" tall and 25" from end to end. It's fully functioning and great for dolls. Pets, babies or for a prop. It's in excellent condition given it's age. I'm guessing it was made in the 1930s. Local pick up is preferable on this piece. But I will assist in shipping if you'd like to make arrangements. There is a Grayhound station in town and that's often the cheapest way to transport items of this relative size. Even the shade cover I discovered in thhe front compartment appears to have never been used! The original chrome'fenders' are shiny and bright! This easily converts from a buggies to a stroller. ANTIQUE LLOYD WICKER CAR SEAT BABY CARRY DOLL BUGGY CARRIAGE
This is an antique child/baby seat made by Lloyds Loom Co. I anticipate it to be turn of the century and used to transport babies in wagons or the new-fangled automobiles. It is about 28" long. It has an adjustable handle on the back to adjust the front valence. Canopy also adjusts with wing nuts. Wicker is in excellent condition- one wear spot on the canopy and a few slightly frayed ends. Some rust in the steel base and one wood cross member appears to have been replaced. It has a leather strap with"Lloyd" tooled in the middle. The end snap pulled through so I glued it with some VLP cement. I will ship in as small of box as I can which will mean taking off the canopy so some assembly will be required. This item was bougth at an Estate Auction where i bought several items from the lat 1800s. I give you several pictures even one of my 3 year grandson pushing it. Probaly hate me later for it but damn tell me he's not a good looking boy. The Carriage is made of wicker. The top piece folds forward and back again for the sun or wind. The headrest rises up and down. It measures 22" long with out the handle, 27" with the handle, it is 23" from bottom of wheel to top of sun blocker, it leans to the right alittle if you behind it, that can be ajusted. One wheel is missing the rubber. I do not clean or restore items i flip them. This Carriage will clean up nice. Antique Wicker Baby Carriage Pram Buggy 1940s Original From Germany
This is a vintage wicker baby carriage/ pram/ stroller that is convertible! As you can see in the pictures. It converts to a stroller, both flat and with head elevated and dropped footrest. It is in great condition for its age. The steel handle easily disconnects from the buggy for storage. And is rubber-coated across the top. The handle can be undone and repositioned so as to stroll the baby from either direction. The hood also easily disconnects. The steel hub caps and fenders have some rust issues as you can see from the photographs. This comes with the original straw-filled mattress. And original ticking. Mattress measures 26" x 14" Measurements are: 36" from front to back; hood measures 18" wide. Height is 32" to top of hood. Local Pickup only or arrange for your own shipping at your own cost.

We found this piece at an old farmhouse. And it's in"farm fresh" condition and would look great as a decor piece. This piece was made in the late 1800's or very early 1900's by the Gendron Wheel Company in Toledo, Ohio. The buggy has a solid iron frame that is in good shape, a lined wicker basket with an adjustable cover and iron wheels with hard rubber tires. There is one panel on the end that lays down flat so you can get the baby in and out easily or lay them down flat to change a diaper. This is a great antique piece that would be a fun restoration ... moreproject and would make a great"rustic" decor piece as it sits now! Condition: This piece is antique and used with some wear. We picked this out of an old farmhouse and it's in"farm fresh" condition. So it is definitely not pristine. The iron frame has some pitting and oxidation throughout. The wicker basket has some wear with a some loose spots and some holes on the cover and near the edges. The interior liner has a lot of wear. The wheels have wear but are in good working condition. The stroller rolls easily, but the basket on it is becoming brittle in spots. Overall this is in rustic condition and would be great for restoration or display as is. The cover is reversible from side to side with the original securing fasteners. Sadly. I no longer have the room for this item. The new owner can keep the dated cover and bedding(vintage embroidery) or have it restored to pristine condition. There are a few stains on the cover that show its age, but it is a wonderful piece! I believe this is a Heywood Wakefield wicker baby carriage. There are no tags.The wicker. is in great condition and all the mechanical pieces work good brakes, bed recliner, etc. There is a neat hidden compartment under the mattress on the inside of the carriage and the sliding door on it looks to be original as well. The handle is wooden and the wheels are all in tact and move freely there is no rush sorry to say it's missing the hood but otherwise everything is in great working condition nice condition for it's age. Inside walls lined with corduroy green nice padding the mattress looks original and also in great shape. Wheels and attachments. There is some general wear from use. The wicker is in good shape and the metal shows no signs of having been bent. The cloth is discolored from age and has pulled from the wicker in a couple of places. A few of the brads look like replacements. One of the hinges is missing a screw. Which is a simple repair. Estate Sale Find. Up for auction is an antique wicker baby buggie. Pram, stroller, or carriage. It is a deep green, and it has an orange shamrock on each side. Black wooden handle. The plastic windows in the upper part of the carriage are clear and intact. The end panel drops down for the"baby" to lie flat. The brake works. Has some wear, is dusty, and needs a good cleaning. The rubber wheels are in good condition. Overall, the buggy is about 28 inches long, 28 inches high, and 14 inches wide. The wheels are a bit over 10 inches in diameter. These come from a smoke free home. Judge the condition by the photos. Ask all questions before bidding, as there are no returns unless I have grossly misrepresented the items or their condition.
