This is a fabulous vintage doll buggy. IT is made of wood. Wicker and canvas with scrolled metal frame and wheels. It is in great condition. The wicker sides have a butterfly pattern. The inside of the buggy is made of a black canvas as is the hood. The buggy stands approx. 11" high and it is 10" from the end of the handle to the back of the hood. The bed of the buggy is 3" deep and 6" wide. The wheels are in excellent working condition. The buggy has no tears or cracks visible. RARE Vintage Cadillac Prototype Blue Pram Baby Doll Carriage Stroller 40's-50's!
RARE Vintage Cadillac Prototype Baby Buggy/Carriage/Pram/Stroller from late 40's-early 50's. This is a rare one. Folks. Can't find another one eBay or on the internet anywhere. Had this appraised. And all parts appear to be original and in excellent condition for its age. Original wheels. Springs, body, handle, shade, paint, brake, etc. The appraiser was able to tell me that car companies such as Cadillac and Mercedes made prototype baby carriages during this time period. But due to copywright infringement laws, the logo could not be made"exactly" the same so you will see it is slightly different from the traditional Cadillac logo. I cannot find another example of this on the internet to compare it to. There are no rips or tears in the fabric shade; and the body appears to be made of tin/metal with wood trim under the ... morechrome at the top. Some small spots of rust on the chrome as shown in the pictures that look like they can be removed and some natural yellowing of the wheels and handle. There is a smudge of the paint on one side; shown in the picture. The inside of the carriage is white and clean throughout. The springs are still very bouncy. No obvious dents or major dings. In excellent condition for its age. This would make a classy addition to your doll collection or to add some vintage"pizazz" to a room. See pics for details. If you have any questions. Travel back in time with this vintage baby pram. It is probably 50 years old but still in good working order. It is collapsible and will fit in a car trunk(we drive a 1994 Ford Taurus and it fits in our trunk) It collapses down to about 39" long. 23" wide, and 20" high. We have one just like it(but green) and have gotten so many compliments and comments on it! People LOVE these old prams/carriages. There are a couple of small tears in the vinyl, particularly in the white/cream hood(see photo) but it is really in very good condition for the age. The shock absorbers are quite effective. PRAM BABBY BUGGY-Vintage Wilson Silver Cross English - NICE !!
This PRAM SILVERCROSS baby buggy is in great shape for its age. I believe it was made in the 1950s. And has the white with pink flowers on the sides. It has all of the original parts as well as the front matching maroon accessory bag to the top that few of them out there have. Sides are like new, from has a few small dents and there is some of the paint worn off the suspension. See pics. BUGGY TOP Fabric is soft and color is great but the corner hinges when the top comes down have worn through in a few places. See pics. Not sure how well the brakes work but the mechanism is all there. Tires have good amount of tread but the rubber looks to be drying out some. The extension foot area needs to be repaired with new cloth material. Puppy design on mattress. Perhaps it is the original since it fits so well. Brake works. Two back wheels have flat spots. But the carriage rolls nicely. Handsome black finish with pin striping Veneer separating in a few places. We found this in Nana's attic in 1972 and used it with our first child. When the second child came along two years later we put the carriage in storage and purchased a two seat buggy for the boys to ride in. Antique Vintage Pram Baby Carriage Danish, Gingham design from Denmark-RARE EUC
Great add to any collection or display/use. This is old so it has some inherent issues expected with age. Besides being characteristically flimsy and probably not the safest thing to push a baby around in. It would still be a great add to décor or occasional use: Chrome trim is bent in some places. Hole(at least 2 of them like the one pictured Original mattress stained(needs dry cleaned) Not perfect metal but I cleaned up some with 000 steel wool and the rust comes off for the most part. Top lifts off so it can be carried like a bassinet. Measures around 40" tall. 44" in overall length and 20" wide. Not sure of age but appears to be made in Denmark many years ago. We just found this 140 year old Vintage Antique Victorian Baby Stroller. It is all here and it all works well. It is fully collapsible with springs and all and all original brackets and hardware is here, not much rust at all anywhere on the buggy. We bought this stroller with a Kestner German Doll inside from a large Estate Sale in Beverly Hills. It has been in that location for over 60 years kept inside with the doll. It appears to have the original pillow and cushion but so hard for me to tell, for sure from that age and in great condition for the age. This is a very rare item in this condition. Vintage Italian made Giordani pram in excellent condition. Very nice blue velvet material and cream vinyl interior. Still works great very sturdy foot pedal brake on the back wheels for parking. Pushes like a dream. Kind of rocks front and back when you push down on the handle bar so you can sooth your baby. We used the top as a bassinet by our bedside when our baby was newborn because it has the unique feature of detaching from the base. The hood also collapses and can fold the opposite direction. Beautiful piece for display or use. These models notoriously collapse when used unless being pushed and stand up on their own with side locks when standing without movement. Also fold down very nicely. Chrome is in exceptional shape. The only flaws are shown in the photos including a slightly slipping seam(pictures on the corner hardly able to see it at all) and the stitching that came undone on the corner of the canopy. EXCELLENT SHAPE. At first I thought it was a replica but when I looked closer. It was clearly the original. White wheels, no issues. These things sell for very high prices and all mechanical components are in tact and functioning. This will require a large box! Mind the shipping cost. Which is why the price is so low to start. The base support is metal and all four wheels are metal and rubber. The pushing handle bar is silver metal. The bed of this pram has spring hooks so that if you remove them allows you to take the bed part of the pram off so you can set it down on any flat surface. The stroller itself measures approx. 28" tall x 34" long x 17" wide. The wheels are all metal and rubber. There are four of them. They measure approx. 7" in diameter. Overall this Pram is in good vintage condition. There are no large visible rips or tears to the material. There are a few areas on the hood and bed where the material has worn and has very small tears over the material where it is being pulled taught by the metal. There is some light rusting on the metal. The buggy seems to all be intact. On the hood of the carriage the middle metal bar is bent. It looks to be easily fixable by bending it back. This item would make a great addition to any baby doll Pram collection. Vintage Wicker Pram Welcome! This pram is at least 40 years old. The owner received it for her child that long ago and said it was old then so perhaps it is antique. The make is unknown as it is unmarked. The removable red and blue padded seat cover that comes with it has the German label"die Storchenmuhle" on it. The owner says it is as old as the pram is. All components on the pram work well-no parts are missing from it. No splints are in the wicker. It operates very well mechanically. Glides and turns smoothly, etc. It is very sturdy and was well made and will collapse for easy storage. It has a very faint smell of smoke to it from having been stored in a smoker's home; otherwise it is very clean. Since I have acquired it, I have noticed much of the odor has dissipated. Vintage Vinyl Red BILT-RITE PRAM 1960's Regal Model
Up for sale is a Vintage 1960's BILT-RITE pram in the Regal model in Red Leatherette with White trim. It is in GOOD USED vintage condition.With all the trim, vinyl, and rubber intact. The stitching is still tight. but the chrome needs a good polishing. There are 2 small rips in the interior on the bassinet portion, but would be easily fixed. It still rolls well, and the brakes work, but are a little stiff. The color is still in good original and not faded condition nor is it badly discolored. It would be marvelous in a movie set. Or in a play, in period costume crowd scenes. It is a travel model that folds flatter for storage in the trunk. I have owned it for nearly 20 years. And actually used it for my children(as a bassinet) because it could move easily through my house in order to keep them near to where I was. Sadly, I no longer have ... moreroom for it.
