There are a few cosmetic issues- 1/4" scuff on cloth hood. Vinyl cover has a few white scuffs and the fringe is loose in one area. White plastic cover is missing on one side of the carriage hood rod(see 6th picture- also note the discoloration on the inside ribbon of the hood) Wheels are in great shape. Very firm. All chrome parts are sturdy and not bent, dented or damaged ... morein anyway. Cloth cover is in great condition except for the scuff mentioned above. Vinyl mattress is very clean and appears unused. All I kept thinking to myself was how well it was made and"Why can't they make things today like they did 50 years ago" This Wonda Chair easily converts to a Carriage. Stroller, Bassinet, Changing Table, Chair, or Rocker. The set is near complete. the high chair attachment and table are not included) This entire lot is in immaculate condition with no noticeable flaws and only minor wear from use and storage. This WONDA CHAIR does it all. First and foremost. Is the carriage. It is done in maroon and white and is in EXCELLENT vintage condition. The hood can flip to either end to shade baby from the sun, there is a snap on vinyl cover to protect baby from the weather and the end of the bassinet unsnaps to allow room for growth. Can be adjusted to a semi-reclined position for older babies who want to look around. The bassinet rests on a spring section that attaches to the wheel base. Carriage is very solid and sturdy, and according to vintage ads for the Wonda-chair, very hard to tip over. Bassinet can be removed and placed on the rocking base. The base of the carriage is shiny chrome and still looks fantastic. When the bassinet is removed. Along with the support piece, the chair can be attached, to make a stroller for an older child. Wonda-Chair Antique Vintage Red & Chrome Full Size Baby Buggy Stroller Pram
Note: requires immediate payment. This is one incredible stroller. The red color and wonderful chrome really make it shine. I believe it is from the 1950s has a logo on the side but I do not know the maker it is absolutely usable for today. It has some light wear and slight rust on chrome all easily cleaned The mattress is original and has a little tear in the plastic of the mattress only. Other than that excellent one little sidepocket is stretched out inside. It comes apart in three pieces and folds down. all pieces are usable, working, no rips to the red leather look plastic, only some slight wear on one corner. Up for auction is this Vintage Wonda Chair Baby Carriage/ Buggy/ Stroller. It comes with some attachments but I am not sure what the atachments are for or if it is complete. The Buggy however is complete and in Great Working Condition. This is a very durable buggy that does not get stuck on sidewalk cracks like most of the newer strollers do. It also has a high handle so that you will not have to be bending over to push it which could result in a sore back. Please look at all the pictures and ask all questions before bidding.
