It has rolled sides and so me scrolls. It is in as-found condition and could use a bit of restoration or you could leave it just as is and it would make a wonderful display stroller for old bisque dolls or old teddy bears. Could use some glue on the back rest but the wicker itself is in remarkable condition considering how old it is and having n e ver been painted. The cushions are old and filled with excelsior. Obvioiusly. This old buggy is not perfect so please buy it as shown. It is really quite impressive in person and quite large. Rough measurements are about 45" long. 20" wide, 35" to top of handle. The back wheels are a big 22" in diame ter and the front wheels are 14" The wheels roll freely and smoothly. The undercarriage is metal with some old green paint and maybe some white pin striping.not sure. The parasol holder is on the handle. THERE ARE 25+ PICTURES PLEASE CHECK ALL OF THEM! From an Estate we have an American genuine antique Victorian doll carriage from the late 1800s or early 1900s with Victorian style Doll. The doll is a Bradley collectible doll from the 1980's. She is dressed in vintage clothing. Her dress is soft yellow lace and she has a matching hat. Parasol, knickers and leather lace up shoes. She is the perfect compliment for this awesome antique coll carriage. Made in the late 1800s this is a wicker"convertible" carriage. It was made in this smaller version for Victorian girls to model their mothers' behavior with their dolls. The carriage goes from sitting to laying down with the aid of a lever and was advertised as being a GO CART. Which is our equivalent of the word"stroller" On the bottom of the carriage is a Sticker that says: Every Baby should have a Bloch Go-Cart. Made ... moreby Philadelphia Baby Carriage Factory. None Genuine without the name“Bloch” The number 835 is written on the bottom in a green color. The same number is written in the bed of the carriage. I recieved this from an antique site: The Bloch Go Cart Co. was formed in 1897. First selling hooded strollers. Their showroom was in Phila. Pa. and their factory was in Egg Harbor. N.J. They used a lot of Fiber to make their pieces. They produced a lot of wicker in the 1920's. They were not so high quality as Heywood Bros.and Wakefield Co. This is indeed pretty rare. If you consider that they may have used less quality materials. There is one small area of wicker missing, it is in the lower back and is not visible when a doll is in the bed. The wheels are 10 inch metal spokes with a hard rubber tire. The carriage is about 30 inches tall. 18 inches wide and about 34 inches long. It will be shipped with its wheels removed and the handle removed. The shipping for the box will be about 100.00 due to the size of the box. Am listing this item for the Owner of the Antique Center. It measures approx. 36 1/2" tall by 43 1/2" long by 22" wide. The seat is 13" by 14" wide. The back of the seat is 15 1/4" high by 12" wide. The neat thing is that although the fabric has been nicely redone. It comes with a box where the original fabric, for both the carriage and the parasol, was stored in, to leave no doubt of its age. This item will be hard to pack and ship. So it will definitely have to be either picked up at Mount Vernon Antique Center here in Alexandria, or it will have to go via freight, we recommend TSC Moving, but keep in mind they can take from 2-8 weeks to deliver, depending on location and driver's schedule. The stroller is made of wicker with a metal frame. Wheels and attachments. There is some general wear from use. The wicker is in good shape and the metal shows no signs of having been bent. The cloth is discolored from age and has pulled from the wicker in a couple of places. This is one of the most incredible Antique Baby Doll buggy's I have ever seen. This is from an estate sale and has NOT been restored and is in the original condition which is as near mint as you can get. The only things I see is the color has faded with time and I think was a Peach Pink color and there is some age wear on the metal fixture items like screws. Etc. The hood slides forward and back with Port Hole windows on both sides with a plastic type pane intact, rubber on metal wheels is intact, all hub caps on wheels are intact. No cracks or breaks in the wicker. The push bar handle is wood painted black on the metal uprights. There is a lever to lower the back inside wood section to lower the doll from upright position to recline slightly or lay flat. There is a plate on the bottom that reads"Meier& Frank Co. The Quality ... moreStore of Portland, Oregon. It is about 14" wide 29" long and 29" tall. A very incredible piece of history as Meier& Frank Store was sold I think in 1966. Antique LLOYD Wicker Baby / Doll Carriage / Buggy ~ Very Unique Rare Adjustable
Antique Wicker Baby or Doll Carriage This antique carriage had belonged to my grandmother. I'm not sure if it was hers when she was little or if she had purchased it but she used it to display a large doll. This unique carriage is made of wicker. Metal and leather. It says Lloyd on both of the front hubcaps. The canopy, the back part of the seat and the foot rest are all adjustable. The canopy is hinged and can be positioned either up or down. there are two metal keys on each side that loosen& tighten the canopy) The back of the seat has 4 or 5 different settings- the baby can sit up or lay down. The foot rest can be lowered if the child is sitting and can be raised if the child is laying down so that his/her feet are level. It measures approx. 29" tall(to the top of the canopy/ hood) and approx. 52" from end to end(from ... morethe end of the canopy to the end of the handle) and is approx. 20 1/2" wide(including the metal locks on each side) The handle measures approx. 26" long. The seat measures approx. 10 1/2" wide x 9" deep. The front wheels are approx. 10 1/2" in diameter. The rear wheels are approx. 2 1/2" in diameter. It is in good condition for its age. There is a lighter discolored spot near the top of the canopy. There are some nicks along the edge of the wicker trim, the cloth on the underside of the canopy has some stains and a couple of tears in the fabric, the wheels squeak when rolled, there is a little bit of light rust in spots and it is a little dusty. The foot rest is made of leather and is still pretty flexible. Please see photos. I took several but could only post 12 so if you would like to see more. Please email me. Adorable doll buggy/stroller. This is very old wicker with steel wheels and rubber tires. The top of the buggy flips over to make a stroller for the doll. This is in pretty good condition as it sits or can be refurbished. The handle and frame is great. The wheels are solid and strong. The wicker is in pretty good condition there is a spot on the buggy bed that is barley beginning to fray. Super cute and I WILL ship!See pics. The paint is thinning all over. The pad in the pram is pretty good. Needs cleaning. The frame and wheels good. This is a good starter for refurbishing or an as is good patina item for antique displays. Age is not known for sure.

This carriage is 23" tall at the handlebars and total length is 25" The actual carriage is 19" long. The big wheel is 12 1/4" tall and the small wheel is 8" There is some wicker damage at the arms and some of the pieces are here. This is from the 1890's. I am asking $125.00 as appraised. This charming Buggy is unique because of the craftsmanship and attention to detail in the wicker. Iron wheels, pretty cotton lining and even a little hubcap. This carriage is 26" tall to the top of the hood. The carriage is 19" long, 32" long total. The wheels are 7 1/2 inches diameter and have a'G' on them. There is some damage to the top hood and the plastic windows are cracked. The grip of the handlebars is wrapped in tape but it almost appears to be made this way. Hand Made Antique Distressed Baby Doll Carriage: Iron, Wicker, Wood and Cloth
Good Day! Today. I have a Hand Made Antique Distressed Baby Doll Carriage. This piece was made to resemble an authentic Victorian style pram, using iron, wicker, wood, and cloth, along with techniques to create a vintage"aged" look! The basket measures 14" long by 7" wide by 6" deep. Black cloth and wicker accents adorn the outer basket. The wood wheels are spoked and lined with iron. The wheels do turn! The wheels are mounted to the carriage by bent iron. The stroller handle, mounted with iron also, has a fancy wood turning. The iron framed bonnet folds up or down. It consists of black cloth that has gotten quite delicate from the aging technique and age itself. Its seams look to have been glued to its frame in spots, but looks nice! This was my grandmothers from the 30's. It has been in their home for years and is in great condition considering the age. The wicker shows very well. Only one spot of scratches as shown. Rubber and hubcaps are still on all of the wheels. It does have some surface rust as expected. One of the plastic windows has cracked and is broken out. This would make a great decorator piece.
