Obvioiusly. This old buggy is not perfect so please buy it as shown. It is really quite impressive in person and quite large. Rough measurements are about 45" long. 20" wide, 35" to top of handle. The back wheels are a big 22" in diame ter and the front wheels are 14" The wheels roll freely and smoothly. Antique 1940's-50's Bilt Rite Baby Carriage Buggy Stroller in Brown. Bilt Rite was once the top of the line company for the production of baby buggies. Non-restored. These buggies can run about $450 and restored, upwards $950-$1000. As far as I can tell this one has not been restored but everything is in working order. Features spring suspension, adjustable canopy, and working brakes. Inside measures 31 inches long by 14 inches wide with a 7 inch depth to mattress top. Outside measure 48 inches long by 48 inches tall. Wheels are 12 inches in diameter. Condition is quite good for its age. This item is from an old 3 generation farm estate sale. See photos item is as shown. There is some rust, wheels have minor cracks, and there is some rust on the metal under frame. The hood on the buggy folds down and the handle can fold up over the ... moretop lowering the bed down to rest right on top of the wheels. But it can not be folded up any more than that. The bed itself can be removed from the wheel frame by removing the springs. I will ship it. BUT, it would need to be taken apart and i can not be reasonable for anything that may break. however if there is a problem with the packing and shipping part, I will notify you and we can cancel auction with mutual agreement to do so. Axle goes through barrel wheel connector and is attached with washer& cotter pin. S-curved shock frame is attached to S-curved Dual Push f Handle(wooden lathe shaped rod) All is attached to Baby basket frame. Front and end pieces are wicker interwoven. Sides look like a Abacus with wood frame& 3 shaped upright dowels on each side. The top rim is an oval shaped wooden piece. The baby basket is lined with a black leather type material. At the head of the buggy is an accordion folding head protector that has 4 metal arch rods connected by rivet& bracket and provide sun protection. Vintage 1920s Beige Wicker Baby/Doll Carriage/Buggy/Stroller/Pram
This charming Buggy is unique because of the craftsmanship and attention to detail in the wicker. Iron wheels, pretty cotton lining and even a little hubcap. This carriage is 26" tall to the top of the hood. The carriage is 19" long, 32" long total. The wheels are 7 1/2 inches diameter and have a'G' on them. There is some damage to the top hood and the plastic windows are cracked. The grip of the handlebars is wrapped in tape but it almost appears to be made this way. I have several Carriages and can show you all of them and will accept the lower price for the larger purchase. This is local pick up from Orange County. California. I am putting up for auction: a very stylish. Vintage 1970s Baby Doll Carriage, plus cushion. DETAILS: The bed of the carriage is plastic and a dark blue color with a white top. The hood is a heavy vinyl type material. It dark blue and has fringe on it. I think the fringe used to be white. But now it is yellowed/ brownish due to age. I DID NOT try to clean the fringe before taking the photos. Perhaps a good cleaner can get the fringe back to its original brightness? The hood can flip 180 degrees(see photo) The frame is metal. The wheels are white and made of a hard rubber. I am including a cushion for the carriage. I do not think the cushion originally came with the carriage. Antique Wicker Baby Carriage Buggy Doll 30's 40's - Vintage Old Stroller
This was my grandmothers from the 30's. It has been in their home for years and is in great condition considering the age. The wicker shows very well. Only one spot of scratches as shown. Rubber and hubcaps are still on all of the wheels. It does have some surface rust as expected. One of the plastic windows has cracked and is broken out. This would make a great decorator piece.
