I couldnt believe that something this old could have been kep in such beautiful condition all these years. It looks as though it was lovingly covered and stored for over 50 years. Even the shade cover I discovered in thhe front compartment appears to have never been used! The original chrome'fenders' are shiny and bright! This easily converts from a buggies to a stroller. The label reads Europe Import Co. Detroit. My asking price reflects the fine original condition but of course I'm always open to a good offer so don't be shy! I would equate this buggie to a low milage garaged 50's automoblie discovered after years of hibernation. It measures roughly 35"L x 34"T x 19" W. This is not a doll stroller. This is meant for a baby and could be brought back into service for a special mother that appreciates a classic vintage style! Wouldnt this be a hit at a baby shower filled with presents? Payment. Vintage 1920s Beige Wicker Baby/Doll Carriage/Buggy/Stroller/Pram
This charming Buggy is unique because of the craftsmanship and attention to detail in the wicker. Iron wheels, pretty cotton lining and even a little hubcap. This carriage is 26" tall to the top of the hood. The carriage is 19" long, 32" long total. The wheels are 7 1/2 inches diameter and have a'G' on them. There is some damage to the top hood and the plastic windows are cracked. The grip of the handlebars is wrapped in tape but it almost appears to be made this way. I have several Carriages and can show you all of them and will accept the lower price for the larger purchase. This is local pick up from Orange County. California. I am putting up for auction: a very stylish. Vintage 1970s Baby Doll Carriage, plus cushion. DETAILS: The bed of the carriage is plastic and a dark blue color with a white top. The hood is a heavy vinyl type material. It dark blue and has fringe on it. I think the fringe used to be white. But now it is yellowed/ brownish due to age. I DID NOT try to clean the fringe before taking the photos. Perhaps a good cleaner can get the fringe back to its original brightness? The hood can flip 180 degrees(see photo) The frame is metal. The wheels are white and made of a hard rubber. I am including a cushion for the carriage. I do not think the cushion originally came with the carriage. I think my mother or grandmother made it, but anyway it fits and it is in good condition. The carriage runs smoothly. Vintage RETRO 1970s Baby Doll Buggy/Carriage PINK w/ Butterflies. NJ or PA p/up.
I am putting up for auction: a very cute. Vintage 1970s Baby Doll Carriage, plus cushion. DETAILS: The carriage is pink plastic. The hood is vinyl and has pink and purple butterflies on it. The frame is metal. The white wheels are made of a hard rubber. I am including a cushion for the carriage. I am not sure if this cushion originally came with the carriage. But it fits and it is in excellent condition. No holes or stains on the cushion. The carriage runs smoothly. DIMENSIONS: 26 inches long 24 inches tall 11.5 inches wide The carriage weighs approximately 4 pounds. This carriage can be a wonderful nostalgic toy for a young girl or would also look nice as part of an antique/ vintage doll display. I have for sale a(small 12" long.8"wide,14"high) Doll carriage that is in great shape. I do not know how old it is,it came from an estate sale. The daughter is in her 50s and she said it was there all her life so we know it must be at least 50 years old.I see the same thing on E-Bay going for anything between 50.And 250 dollars. Antique Wicker Baby Carriage Buggy Doll 30's 40's - Vintage Old Stroller
This was my grandmothers from the 30's. It has been in their home for years and is in great condition considering the age. The wicker shows very well. Only one spot of scratches as shown. Rubber and hubcaps are still on all of the wheels. It does have some surface rust as expected. One of the plastic windows has cracked and is broken out. This would make a great decorator piece.
