Vintage 1952 TAYLOR TOT BABY STROLLER/WALKER-Wood, Steel & Rubber-P45
You have to have at least 10 feedbacks to bid on or buy this item. I know that this is Taylor Tot because of the model number I found on the bottom of the seat. A wonderful thing I bought today. It works pretty well. It was kinda dirty but I gave it a shower. I scrubbed it and then dried it and blew it with a fan for over an hour. I then polished the wood and the metal and the rubber wheels with a wood preservative. And I oiled the wheels. It looks a lot nicer than it did 5 hours ago. I usually hold onto things for a few months before I list them but space is a little limited so on it goes. Its 43" long x 34" tall x 16" wide. Works well. Metal(steel) body, wooden handle and seat and beads(for the baby) Rubber wheels. It works as a walker too when you easily take the handle and the under tray off. The handle will retract and come off, that’s how it will ship also so it will fit in a smaller box. This is vintage and has never been restored. You can see the cracking in the rubber bumpers, this model has spring suspension, you can see the age in the wood and metal parts, whoever buys this will likely leave it as it is or restore it. I do not know if all the original parts are on this. I have seen others that had a bottom sheet, so please see the pictures of this one. This will probably ship in a box approx. 27x20x18 inches. Taylor Tot Stroller Baby Buggy Walker Blue Streamline Fender Skirts Vintage
Hello! You are bidding on a vintage Taylor Tot baby stroller/walker with all the bells and whistles. It has the locking brake mechanism for the back wheels and the awesome streamline wheel fenders. The push-handle folds down for more compact transportation. It has the original cushion cover for the adjustable back but it is not in very good condition. The buggy is in very good used condition with no major damage or condition issues I can find– just normal wear(as pictured. If you need more pictures/scans I will be happy to email them to you) I think the seat was repainted long ago and when they reassembled it they put the beads in the position you see– they originally went in the middle section. The only thing I can see that is missing are the decals and one wing nut and carriage bolt on the adjustable back, otherwise it is complete. The ... morefloor plate is easily removable so as the child gets older it can be used as a walker. The rubber cushioning/protectors are in remarkable condition compared to what you usually see. Vintage 1940's/1950's Blue Taylor Tot Baby Stroller/Walker
Up for consideration is a Vintage Original 1940's/1950's Blue and White Taylor Tot Childs Stroller/Walker. It measures approx. 21 3/4" Long(from frount bumper to back bar frame) x 18 1/2" wide(across bumper in frount) x 16" Tall(from ground to top of seat) It has all the typical wear from age and use as in. Dings, scratches, paint loss, cracks in wood, and rust. It is missing the rubber coating on the front bumper, the back bumper, and the fendors are also missing. The seat is made of wood and it has wooden beads across the front for the childs entertainment. The great piece was made in Ohio, U.S.A. I'm not an expert on these strollers so I'm not sure what other parts if any that its missing. All parts work the way they should. Has a collapsible handle for transporting and storage and a lower detachable tray so child can walk the stroller him/her self. There is a small tray in the front for snacks and has four colored wooden balls for child's play. The long collapsible hand has a wooden handle as does the front of the stroller. Vtg '50s Blue Wards Taylor Tot? Baby Stroller/Walker w/Art Deco Fenders
Estate find! Original with wear and surface rust(the tray seems to be the worst) Overall good condition. Wheels roll and in my opinon are in good shape. Needs restoring or display as is. Rubber bumpers seem to be in decent shape in my opinion. Handles and foot rest detach and will be shipped that way. Wood handles are in great shape and seem to be made of oak. I would imagine the seat is. Too, but can't say for sure. Wood beads are faded. Only a couple of screws are missing- easily replaced by your friendly, neighborhood hardware store employee. This has a parking brake. There is a lever located between the two rear wheels which activate rods that fit into holes on the inner rims of the rear wheels to lock movement. Pretty simple! Stylish. Art deco style fenders. Lovely baby blue color. Beads on tray kept the toddler entertained. Paint ... moreon wooden areas shows wear. Label on seat is barely legible but'WARDS' and'Walker' can be made out. This may have been made for Wards by Taylor Tot. It looks like the Taylor Tots I've seen but I cannot say that it is a Taylor Tot for sure. WELCOME! I have up for sale this ORIGINAL. Completely restored, Taylor-Tot Stroller/ Walker. This one is a vintage 1930's-40's Deluxe model. With the FENDERS! Features included; wheel covers, play beads and food tray, spring suspension, wheel lock, and 1" pnumatic tires. This one has been totally professionally restored down to the new rubber on the bumpers and to the original decals! This Taylor-Tot was completely disassembled. All parts sanded clean, primed, and painted in original colors of romance blue and yellow ivory. Three coats of enamel were baked on, and clear coated. It was reassembled using all brand new hardware. The rubber on the bumpers was replaced with new and the wood handles polyurethaned. They even replaced the original decals! This Taylor Made stroller from the 50's is in very good condition. No dents just some minor paint worn off, mostly where the child rested their feet. Very easy restoration project, as there is really no pitting of metal noticeable. Unit will be shipped with front wheels and bumper removed for shipping purposes. This is one of the nicest Taylor Tot original strollers you will find. This one has been used but very little and has been stored for decades. The stroller is stamped under the seat 4-49 which I am sure is the date it was made. It is 65 years old. The stroller retains its original paint and decals. The front decal reads The genuine Taylor Tot. The seat decal reads Taylor Quality Ball Bearing Wheels And Shock Proof Construction. The seat decal has been protected by one of the rare accessories a padded seat cushion which is made of thin padded plastic and is in great condition. The stroller has the Art Deco pod wheel covers. The other rare accessory is A bag attached to the handle for carrying groceries. Diapers, or what ever you wanted. If you view the photos you will see a metal extension that comes from the handle and curves under the bag ... moreto support extra weight for whatever you carry. This stroller is great for your stroller/ doll collection, use as a stroller at special events, photography studio,or display with your vintage pedal cars and toys. Taylor Tot 1930-1940s stroller/walker
This was purchased at an estate sale in Sycamore Ks. It had been in a shed for who knows how long. It is in good operating condition. The bumper guard is still pliable has some rust due to age. Wheels still in good cond. Needs a good cleaning and steel wool. I didn't want to due much not knowing what someone else would want.
