The seat itself is still in tact, I just want to mention it is weathering.it is a thin type of wood or wicker and is raising(weathering) It is not broken or cracked, however there is a small gap on one side~which you can see in the one pic(zoom in) and it will be the left side of your view. It looks as though that was the way it was made~to me. The thin black tires are worn down in spots, revealing the wire/metal that makes the wheel. The back of the buggy/carriage folds down(shown in picture) the front foot resting raises as well. In pausing to check over the buggy, to ensure the description is to the best of my ability~I have just discovered that the buggy folds up entirely.as if you are folding a stroller. Since I cannot add another picture without deleting one~if you are interested in this item, I will gladly send the picture of it folded to your email. The handle to push the buggy is weathered. It due to it's age naturally has the fading or rubbed down spots of the wood, markings, a couple slight cracks(not open) The wicker on the sides of this item, has only a couple little pieces of wicker missing(in two spots& they are not big) It's a beautiful piece, however keep in mind that it's still fragile. It's no longer crisp fresh wicker/wood. The coloring is fading/weathering throught the whole buggy~naturally giving it, it's antique unique look. These two items are as they were for years~together. It is very old and vintage and came to us with lots of the Dy Dee items we are and will be posting. This adorable set does show wear from age but we think as you can see it still presents very well. The binding shows some age wear but still intact with minor area starting to pull away and will need re-tacking(think the pictures show it well) There are some thin areas and a few small holes that we noted in the blanket and we tried to picture so you are not expecting a blanket free from holes and mint. They are there but not easily seen when being used. Unless pointed out or holding up to the light, however they are there and to us not that noticeable because of the material used; looks factory to us but you knowledgeable collectors would know for sure. The defendant, refusing to give his name and address, witness gave him into custody. The perambulator was a large one, and took up nearly the whole of the pavement. The case being clearly proved against the defendant, Mr. Knox observed that it was monstrous to take up the pavement with these perambulators, some of which were of large dimensions. The pavement was for passengers, not for vehicles of this kind. He refused to look closely into the charges and counter-charges of rough language; the evidence had made it clear that the defendant was pushing a perambulator on the pavement, where he had no business, and that he drove it against the complainant. He would have to pay a fine of 20s. and costs. We hail this decision with much satisfaction; for if, after the cabmen have driven us from the roadway, the pavement is to be made impassable by the"furious diving" of large perambulators, we may as well give up the attempt to traverse the streets at all. 1940's vintage folding baby carriage, buggy, pram. Full size, Green and white
Mid century vintage baby carriage. All metal construction with vinyl or rubberized canvas sides and hard rubber wheels. It folds up for storage. In very good condition with just some small holes on each side of the sun shade that have been repaired with black gorilla tape. The wheels had a few small cracks in the tires. They have been filled in with epoxy and painted to match. Rolls freely and comes with a parking brake. Would be great for displaying a large vintage doll. This pram carriage buggy stroller is in very good conditon. It is very clean and the chrome is in really good shape for it's age. Still shiny! The aluminun plates on the bottom are a little stained. But everyone i have seen has this same issue. It still has it's hub caps and fenders. The inside is very white"see pictures" usually they yellow with age. It also comes with a toile pram blanket and covered mattress pad. The mattress pad can be removed to the original white if desired. It is also in good condition. As far as i know from research it is made by Babyhood and is a Wonda pram. You can take the top part off and make it a bassinet. You can also remove the chrome stand from the bassinet, and fold the handles down on the stroller base to make it easier to store or load in your vehicle. Antique 1940's-50's Bilt Rite Baby Carriage Buggy Stroller in Brown. Bilt Rite was once the top of the line company for the production of baby buggies. Non-restored. These buggies can run about $450 and restored, upwards $950-$1000. As far as I can tell this one has not been restored but everything is in working order. Features spring suspension, adjustable canopy, and working brakes. Inside measures 31 inches long by 14 inches wide with a 7 inch depth to mattress top. Outside measure 48 inches long by 48 inches tall. Wheels are 12 inches in diameter. Condition is quite good for its age. This item is from an old 3 generation farm estate sale. See photos item is as shown. There is some rust, wheels have minor cracks, and there is some rust on the metal under frame. Selling a pair of 6 1/2 inch buggy wheels for a baby stroller or carriage or old wagon. This pair of wheels has an axle hole of about 1/4" and the axle shaft is about 1.25 inches long. The metal wheel alone is about 5.5 inches in diameter but with the rubber tire. The outside diameter is 6.5 inches. Spokes are real solid and tire rubber is solid also. Vintage Perego Pram Baby Buggy Italian Carriage Stroller Bassinet NO RESERVE!!!!
Okay so here's the story my fellow ebayers! I am a self described seeker of relics(and other things) But Italian made buggies are not things I come across everyday. My daughter actually found this buggy at a flea market auction in rather sad shape. The original plan was to fix it up and she was going to use it for her child who has yet to make his appearance. After finding out she is having a boy, she decided this stroller would no longer suite her needs! So after weeks of work and restoring this nice relic, I find myself stuck with a stroller that I have no use for. I realize this one is not as ornate as some of the ones selling on Ebay, but she sure did clean up rather nicely. however, there are some cosmetic issues that I included in the pictures. The vinyl inside the buggy has two small tears. The metal can be seen on one side of ... morethe buggy cover(also in the pictures) and some smalls stains in the top shade portion that I am not sure how to safely clean out. She sure has been a labor of love and I fear I will not get out what's been invested.but I don't have a choice but to try and sell it. The stroller wheels around perfectly and the chrome shines like a brand new penny. I am not certain of the year as I really do not know much about them. A local antique store owner nearby believes that it is probably early 60's possibly late 50's, but that was his best estimation. At any rate, I am partial to her! I think she is a beauty. Hopefully someone out there in ebay land will agree. Normally returns are not a problem, but with the bigger size of this item that's probably not the best way to go. We have decided to sell our baby pram. This is a great baby carriage that had people stopping in thier tracks(one time a person pulled their car over. Got out and asked to buy it from us! This was manufactured in 1957 and the chrome work on the side resembles the classic belair Chevy. Brakes are operated by foot on the bottom. The top and bottom seperate for transportation. Very sturdy construction as we had both kids in at once when going to functions. It has two spots of noticable damage but does not affect the integrity of the carriage. the small dent in the right side is about the size of a dime and goes in 1/8 of an inch. The other spot is the paint on the front has pulled away but is still intact. I was going to have the carriage repainted but did not want to take away from the original paint job. Wonderful and unique vintage/antique doll baby buggy/pram/carriage/stroller. This is a metal frame in white with blue green colored trim and fleur di les design painted on the metal. The cover is green and adjusts to either side and folds flat. The frame is chrome finished and the wheels are rubber. The interior is finished in white with gold tone stars. Large Antique Silver Cross Pram Baby Stroller Carriage Buggy 1950s WASHINGTON DC
Up for sale. A large antique Silver Cross Pram Baby Stroller- Carriage- Buggy. Stroller is earth brown color, made during the 1950s in Birmingham, England. The metal baby carrier can be removed off the chrome chassis. The bedding can be propped up. This is a very nice stroller. This stroller is a full size. It measures roughly 46" tall x 45" long with the handles open x 24" wide, from wheel to wheel. I don't know if the white bedding is original or not. Condition: Wear is expected of a baby carriage this old. Below I've listed everything that I see on the pram. 1) There are no tears or rips in the fabric. It looks very good. 2) On the fabric that covers the bed area. Which comes off, liguid was spilled on one area. 3) The rubber wheels and the break pad show the most wear. They are cracked and dry. 4) One of the two ... morebreak pads is missing. 5) On all four sides of the metal carrier there are a few scratches. Noticable on close inspection. 6) The chrome chassis looks good with m inimal surface rust. Except around the spokes area on the wheels. 7) T he ribbed black handle has a little white mark. Removable with the right cleaner. 8) The metal logo on the front side has part of it loose and disconnected from the rest of the logo. Seen in the 4th photo. The logo looks intact. If left alone, the logo stays intact, but if you move the last 1/2" smaller right part of the logo, it moves, which could be super glued to keep it stayed together. Shipping note: Local pick up is available in the Washington DC area. Stroller is large and heavy. I'll mail the stroller in two boxes. The shipping cost will include insurance and tracking info. Here we have a nice antique toddler stroller or baby pram. I believe it is from the early 1900's but I am not sure since I could not find any makers mark or date anywhere. The wheels are in great condition and it rolls great. There doesn't seem to be any major cracks in the wicker and all the features work. It has an adjustable canopy and back. Also there is a foot break on it. We have tested it out with a 3 year old and it worked great. This is a great conversation piece or would be wonderful for a doll collector or photographer. 1910-20s Beige German/English Baby/Doll Art Deco Buggy/Carriage/Pram
This Vintage/Antique buggy is unique because of the ART DECO design. It is probably German. Possibly English 1910-1920s. The height is 28 1/4" to the top of the handle and 25" long. The wheel is about 5 1/2- 6" diameter. I am not sure how the hood fits on but there is intact apparatus. The hub caps look like they are aluminum which increases the value! There is a thin grooved plastic or rubber fitting on the handle. There is a little pocket in the front holding leather straps. This is local pick up Southern CA but if you live out of the area. This charming Buggy is unique because of the craftsmanship and attention to detail in the wicker. Iron wheels, pretty cotton lining and even a little hubcap. This carriage is 26" tall to the top of the hood. The carriage is 19" long, 32" long total. The wheels are 7 1/2 inches diameter and have a'G' on them. There is some damage to the top hood and the plastic windows are cracked. The grip of the handlebars is wrapped in tape but it almost appears to be made this way. This listing is for a beautiful Antique Victorian Wicker B aby C arriage/ Pram. It was manufactured by the Heywood Brothers.The model is known as"The Heywood" it has a plack on the floor of the carriage) Its measurem ents are: 54"L from tip to tip. 24" W and 43"H from ground to its highest poin t. The carriage is in great condition. It will need some minor restoration, the floor cushion is missing, but it is still very displayable. Fortunately. All the wicker is great condition and there is no visible damage to it. The umbrella is missing, the attaching rod lock is still in place. The padding is a little faded. The burgundy pink color is in good condition, no tears, or rips or stains, just need a carriage floor cushion, one could be made easily. It is approximately from the 19 00's- 1910 Era so it is very old ... morebut it rolls so smooth and easy. It has wonderful shocks. This would be a great. For a nursery or maternity shop, it truely would make a lovely addition to your decor. The Heywood brand was considered the Cadillac of carriages and this one is a great example. Nice shape but is missing a screw knob on one side that connects the bonnet with the bassinet as picture shows. You could probably find the right one at a hardware store or use a regular wing nut. 1920s vintage baby carriage pram with swastika wheels!
Greetings. This auction is for a vintage 1920’s baby pram/ carriage. This is an old family relic that was brought over from Italy. The most unique thing about this item is that it has swastika(yes. The Nazi symbols) on all the hubcaps. I’ve been told that this has nothing to do with Nazis and used to mean“good luck” on 1920’s Italy, but it still makes this piece very unique. Solid iron bars and handle with a wooden base. The base is black with blue and gray accents. The inside is still intact bit the fabric padding has become detached from the wooden base. It has some rust. The carriage has some damage(mostly scratched paint) but still would be perfect for a collector or refurbished. Height– not including the handle- 22 inches Length- 28 inches Width- 12 inches And it does have swastika hubcaps. We are located in Los Angeles CA. And because ... morethis would be a fortune to ship(rather heavy because of the iron work) we are asking that the buyer pick it up. This comes from a very clean, non-smoking home. Carriage body very good, light wear. Some wear to canopy, inside light wear. Chrome needs shined up has light surface rust. Wheels original slight to little wear white rubber type on outside. Frame sturdy and very good condition. Has a brake for secure stop. About 42" tall to top of canopy. 35" tall to push bar total length 36" long, with handle about 43" long.
