It has rolled sides and so me scrolls. It is in as-found condition and could use a bit of restoration or you could leave it just as is and it would make a wonderful display stroller for old bisque dolls or old teddy bears. Could use some glue on the back rest but the wicker itself is in remarkable condition considering how old it is and having n e ver been painted. The cushions are old and filled with excelsior. Obvioiusly. This old buggy is not perfect so please buy it as shown. It is really quite impressive in person and quite large. Rough measurements are about 45" long. 20" wide, 35" to top of handle. The back wheels are a big 22" in diame ter and the front wheels are 14" The wheels roll freely and smoothly. Displaying a doll collection. Or pushing your little angel around town. Update: I had a local seamstress sew a beautiful new cover for the parasol with lace. See new photos. And I will include the old pattern with the carriage. But this really made a wonderful addition to this carriage. The material is free floating and not sewn into the umbrella. And this could be done for a tighter fit. But this way the material is not under stress for display. The material looks to all be original and complete with both sides. Bottom and back. The buggy measures 35" inches tall without the adjustable& folding parasol. The length with the footrest to the ... morehandle is 42" inches long and the width is widest part of the back wheels which measures 22 1/4" inches wide. The footrest is free and adjustable back support allows for the seat to lay down for a bed. The carriage rolls freely and easily and is a black steel frame. The reattaching the wicker side foot panel(or leave it off) And there is a little bow to the one foot rest sides from the side panel being off. The material on the parasol is new(see update above) So the only damage is on the wicker footrest where one of the sides have come off and these two pieces are included in the sale for reattaching. I'm not 100% because I think it also has a lot of the characteristics of the Bilt Rite, but I do know it is from the 1930's. It does have some condition issues. There are a few rips in the canopy. The hood or bonnet is plastic and has a few small holes in it. Some are the size of a pin hole. This is an antique. Victorian, full size wicker pram. Pram made of metal and wicker. With canvas seat. Rolls smoothly. The wicker weave has loosened up a bit and may need to be re-attached at edges, rubber wheels have a few cracks, the curved area where the child's feet rest is coming loose, you can see the nails up above where it was attached to, and may need to be re-attached. I will be removing the handle for shipping and my husband said that the bolts will probably break when I remove them, so be aware that those 4 bolts may not be original, I don't know yet. This is a really nice signed Haywood Wakefield old wicker doll buggy. The brown corduroy lining is in good shape. Also the round windows are intact. It has 10 inch wheels with the wood spokes. The cotton lining material appears to have been replaced several decades ago with some cotton denim. It appears to be at least 100 years old given the type of wheels it has. It obviously was well used, but still appears sturdy. It looks to be iron and steel, painted black, with some rust spots. The fabric appears to be replaced, but it probably was based on the original pattern. A great addition to any vintage toy or doll collection. This is a perfect cabinet size which is soooo rare. Measurements for the carriage are 12" long X 6" wide X 11 1/2" tall. This listing also includes this sweet little German bisque head doll on a composition body and her antique bottle. The bisque German doll is 6 1/2" tall with beautiful blue open sleep eyes. Vintage Wicker Doll Carriage Stroller Buggy w/Linens
Up for Auction is a Vintage Wicker Doll Carriage/Stroller. Linens are included but I'm not sure if their the original linens or not. I purchased this at a Church Sale and was told it was old. But I can't confirm how old it is. Wheels are a bit wobbly and need tightening. Which is a easy fix. There is no damage to the Carriage or excessive ware. Antique Civil War Era Baby Doll Buggy / Carriage, All Original - Untouched
Mid to late 1800's baby doll buggy. Carriage. This is in strikingly great condition. Wheels turn easily. There are no defects in the wood. The metal, the or the canvas. The top and inside canvas is in great condition. Of course the canvas is stiff. The hinges work but we did not open it all the way for fear of harming the canvas. We have not attempted any efforts to restore this buggy. It is dusted and wiped with a micro fiber cloth. We leave the restoring to the pros. What a pleasure it is to offer this authentic Baby Doll Stroller with it's original factory stamped number(F418) all original paint and the original SOUTH BEND TOY COMPANY sticker still intact. There is a canopy but it looks too large for this stroller. But it is an original stroller canopy with all the original period hardware. Unless the wood has swelled out it's not for this stroller but comes with it in this auction just in case! Appears to be original paint. 65% of original factory sticker still there. Wicker has come unravelled. The length is there to be re-rushed. the wheels will need a little work, But they are all there and attached with the original caps.

And is approximately 22" from the handle to the front of the buggy. The basket is 16" long and 8" wide. The hood is 7" tall, 8" wide. The basket is wicker on the sides with a thin wood floor and back. It has a metal edge around the top. The wicker hood has a metal frame around it. The carriage is quite well made and unmarked.
