Vintage Wicker/Rattan & Metal Decorative Doll Carriage/Pram
Vintage decorative wicker& metal doll carriage. Age unknown. Very detailed and decorative. Displayed in a smoke free environment for many years. It measures approximately 18 1/2"L x 16"H x 7"W. The framework that supports the carriage. Wheels& handle are metal. The(working) canopy/cover has a metal frame and is covered in heavy black fabric, as well as the lining in the carriage. The scroll work(sides of the carriage) and wheels are wicker/wood. The handle is spindled wooden dowel. There are no rips or tears in the fabric. One wheel has some wear from rubbing against the other(photo 7) and one piece of wicker on the side has very minor split(photo 5)

This is a great vintage piece in nice condition for it's age. This set was made by Perego in Italy in the 1960's/70's. It features a steel tube frame with rubber wheels and two carrier attachments. The two attachments are a baby bassinet for a small baby to lie down in. And a toddler seat with straps and buckles and an adjustable back so the child can lie down or sit upright. The carriers are made of steel tubing with a baby blue fabric covering and blue and white plaid rubberized interior for easy cleaning. There is some very light wear for it's age and discoloration on the fabric and lining from use and age. Vintage Pram with detachable parasol. The parasol has springs top& bottom that allow you to adjust where it covers. It is missing 1 rod in the top of it but it can most likely be replaced. The leather straps on the bottom are ok but could use new ones. They hold the seat in the frame and act as the shocks. Break works perfect. Covering is really nice. Wheels are 6" and in good shape. These buggies run about $450 and restored, $950-$1000. This one has not been restored but everything is in working order. Features spring suspension, adjustable headrest or seat inside, adjustable canopy, removable snap half cover, and working brakes. Inside measures 31 inches long by 14 inches wide with a 7 inch depth to mattress top. Mattress is 2 inches thick. Outside measure 48 inches long by 48 inches tall. Wheels are 12 inches in diameter. Condition is quite good for its age-it's been passed down in the family for a few generations. Tried to capture areas of wear in the pictures: one side has tiny tears near the gold detailing, one top corner is worn, wheels ... morehave cracks, and there is rust on the metal under frame. Up for bid is an nice Antique 1960's Rex Stroll O Chair Pram style Baby Carriage in good condition. This company used to make these carriages in NYC so this isn't an imported replica. Overall this green stroller with white vinyl inside is in great shape with only few very minor blemishes. It does have one of the hub caps missing and some minor pitting on parts of the chrome undercarriage. The top section is removable and the sun shade is convertible. Antique Victorian Wicker Baby Carriage w/ Parasol. Pram Style Buggy. Early 1890 This baby carriage is from the Victorian period and in nice working condition. A wonderful display for photography. Displaying a doll collection. Or pushing your little angel around town. Update: I had a local seamstress sew a beautiful new cover for the parasol with lace. See new photos. And I will include the old pattern with the carriage. But this really made a wonderful addition to this carriage. The material is free floating and not sewn into the umbrella. And this could be done for a tighter fit. But this way the material is not under stress for display. The material looks to all be original and complete with both sides. Bottom and back. The buggy measures 35" inches tall without the adjustable& folding parasol. The length with the footrest to the ... morehandle is 42" inches long and the width is widest part of the back wheels which measures 22 1/4" inches wide. The footrest is free and adjustable back support allows for the seat to lay down for a bed. The carriage rolls freely and easily and is a black steel frame. And the carriage has a foot brake that holds firm. The frame of the parasol is complete without any damage and a unique folding design. A true survivor and a beautiful piece of American history and one sure to get all the right attention. Condition is great with just two minor repairs besides the parasol cover and lace with will need repairing or replacing. The reattaching the wicker side foot panel(or leave it off) And there is a little bow to the one foot rest sides from the side panel being off. The material on the parasol is new(see update above) So the only damage is on the wicker footrest where one of the sides have come off and these two pieces are included in the sale for reattaching. It appears the wicker was painted or maybe this is the original paint. Not sure, it all looks untouched as the paint is concerned. Beautiful. Doll Carriage Buggy Stroller. This is a beautiful stroller! I was told when I submitted the pics to a Dealer in England. That it's a Pram Doll Stroller. I'm not 100% because I think it also has a lot of the characteristics of the Bilt Rite, but I do know it is from the 1930's. It does have some condition issues. There are a few rips in the canopy. See Pics) There are some rust on the wheels, hardware, handle, and on most of the metal throughout. There is also some scuffs on the paint of the carriage itself. See Pics) The overlay in the carriage, is coming loose, but the original tacks are still there. The attachment screws are also missing where ... morethe canopy attaches to the buggy itself. See Pics. Large Antique Pram - Baby Stoller carriage Buggy - Full Size, not for dolls
My Dad& I uncovered this beauty within a storage unit we purchased at auction. It is a large. Full-size pram- not the small ones intended for use with dolls. From talking with others. We are thinking it's from the early 1920s but really cannot be certain. One antique shop said it was a"Nanny's Buggy" and looks to have been really cared for. This is a wonderful vintage Wilson Silver Cross baby pram. Model Pastorale White from the late 1950s or early 1960s. The pram body is an off white(some of the photos make it look more yellow, which it is not) with pink and blue decoration flowers. The cover is a baby blue. I believe all the pieces are original and the item has not been restored. There are some signs of age and wear including a light dent in one side of the body, some scratches, edge wear, wear to the cover, all of which I have tried to show in the photos. Up for sale we have a very rare vintage baby carriage. It is estimated to be from the late 1800's or early 1900's. It has metal framing. Metal wheels, with a wooden body, there is a pad where the baby would normally lay. and if you lift it up there are springs underneath, it has a leather hood. This particular carriage carries a unique crest on the side. It also displays a great deal of what looks like hand carving/wood scallops on the sides of the carriage. I asked an antique dealer and he suggested this possibly belonged to a wealthy family. He also explained that the more decorative ones were often special ordered and made personally for certain wealthy families. This is a"rare baby carriage" that looks great for its age. I have had this carriage for many years. and I have yet to find one as exceptionally unique as this ... moreone. It has that"Creepy Cool" look that would add character to your antique collection or antique store. This piece is in relatively good condition. The wicker weave has loosened up a bit and may need to be re-attached at edges, rubber wheels have a few cracks, the curved area where the child's feet rest is coming loose, you can see the nails up above where it was attached to, and may need to be re-attached. I will be removing the handle for shipping and my husband said that the bolts will probably break when I remove them, so be aware that those 4 bolts may not be original, I don't know yet. It is a green vinal on the hood and trim and a woven plaid wool/flannel like material in browns and tans on the sides in very good condition. I do not see any tears in the vinal. There is some slight yellowing on the plastic inside and very little rust spots on the rim of wheels(one wheel it is more pronounced as shown) A very special piece that converts 3 uses into one: carriage. I am amazed at the ingenuity of this rubber baby buggy.The material is some kind of a canvas. Perhaps rubberized for waterproofing.I am sure it is not a vinyl or plastic. It has an aluminized label attached to the side rail that is illegible. Therfore I do not know the brand.You step on a back end. Spring loaded crossbar and the handle lays down, the body lays flat, and then the wheels fold in to the middle You are then able to carry it like a suitcase. I can find no picture. Nor anyone, even at two large antique malls here in Denver) that has ever seen anything like this. It appears to be absolutely original. Even down to the little hand tooled leather"seat belt" for the child. There are two very serious tie down hook/cleats. On the sides of the main frame, to tie this to a car, or other transport vehicle. It had to be the ultimate ... moretech when it was sold originally. I tried to show the stages of folding. In the pictures. The tilt. Or sun shield, is 180 degrees adjustable, front to rear. The seat is adjustable in iincrements from erect to lying down. The handle for the driver is wood. as are the babies side handles) and in perfect condition The wheels are good, and it rolls freely, but there is a flat spot on one of the solid rubber tires. Good condition - Royale pram bassinet baby carriage stroller vintage antique

London, which makes luxury baby prams. This pram was purchased in the 1970s. It has all of the original parts. It is brown and cream colored. The original mattress is included with four sheets(three patterns and one white- see photos) that fit it. The bassinet portion comes out of the stroller/ wheels and can be used as a stand-alone bassinet. It has handles on either side for easy carrying. The canopy can be up or down and there is a cover for the bassinet portion that snaps into place. The wheel/ stroller portion does collapse for easier storage. The hood can come off by removing the screws. The hood- sun bonnet- can be adjusted to tilt to the front or to the back. The wheels part of this buggy is metal. This is the same Carriage seen featured in the 1925 edition of the November Ladies' Home Journal. This carriage is all original in lightly played-with condition and everything works WELL. Paint is missing from the wooden handle. The parasol moves so you can place directly over carriage or to the side. Wicker is in great condition but the right front wheel could use a little tweaking. This is a perfect cabinet size which is soooo rare. Measurements for the carriage are 12" long X 6" wide X 11 1/2" tall. This listing also includes this sweet little German bisque head doll on a composition body and her antique bottle. The bisque German doll is 6 1/2" tall with beautiful blue open sleep eyes. She is marked on the back of her head with Germany 2/0 then with and R and some numbers that I can't read. Her bisque is perfect with no cracks. Large Antique Silver Cross Pram Baby Stroller Carriage Buggy WASHINGTON DC Brown
Up for sale. A large antique Silver Cross Pram Baby Stroller- Carriage- Buggy. Stroller is earth brown color, made during the 1950s in Birmingham, England. The metal baby carrier can be removed off the chrome chassis. The bedding can be propped up. This is a very nice stroller. This stroller is a full size. It measures roughly 46" tall x 45" long with the handles open x 24" wide, from wheel to wheel. I don't know if the white bedding is original or not. Condition: Wear is expected of a baby carriage this old. Below I've listed everything that I see on the pram. 1) There are no tears or rips in the fabric. It looks very good. 2) On the fabric that covers the bed area. Which comes off, it seems like something was spilled on one area. 3) The rubber wheels and the break pad show the most wear. They are cracked and dry. ... more4) One of the two break pads is missing. 5) On all four sides of the metal carrier there are a few scratches. Noticable on close inspection. 6) The chrome chassis looks good with m inimal surface rust. Except around the spokes area on the wheels. 7) The metal logo on the front side has part of it loose and disconnected from the rest of the logo. Seen in the 4th photo. The logo looks intact. If left alone, the logo stays intact, but if you move the last 1/2" smaller right part of the logo, it moves, which could be super glued to keep it stayed together. Shipping note: Local pick up is available in the Washington DC area. Stroller is large and heavy. I'll mail the stroller in two boxes. The shipping cost will include insurance and tracking info. I could ship this via Greyhound. The cost would be less, but there is no insurance for it, and it would be transfered from bus to bus across country. Not sure of the age. I know it's at least 30 years old. The material is a velvety feel. Not sure if it is actual velvet. The Bassinet and seat is interchangable. The tops on both units fold down and up. The wheels come off and carriage folds down a level. It came from SWEDEN and has a very warm comforter(See pic in bassinet) There is one minor abraded fray on the weather cover(an accessory we have never used anyway) It is in great condition. And the large wheels make for a very easy stroll or glide through even non-smooth type paths. Very easy to push. Thank you for looking!

Vintage Baby Pram Carriage Stroller with Toile Bedding Overhauled
This pram carriage buggy stroller is in very good conditon. It is very clean and the chrome is in really good shape for it's age. Still shiny! The aluminun plates on the bottom are a little stained. But everyone i have seen has this same issue. It still has it's hub caps and fenders. The inside is very white"see pictures" usually they yellow with age. It also comes with a toile pram blanket and covered mattress pad. The mattress pad can be removed to the original white if desired. It is also in good condition. As far as i know from research it is made by Babyhood and is a Wonda pram. You can take the top part off and make it a bassinet. You can also remove the chrome stand from the bassinet, and fold the handles down on the stroller base to make it easier to store or load in your vehicle. The only defects noted are the plastic ... moretrim on 2 SMALL spaces(see pictures) and the scrape on the lower side of the front(see pictures) I will try to sell this pick up only because of the weight, it's approx. 65 pounds. We are glad to observe a disposition on the part of the metropolitan magistrates to contest on our behalf the last piece of ground which has been left to the unfortunate pedestrians of the London streets. The fooway is. It appears, still our own, and we are to be protected in its enjoyment. The case of Mr. George Peachey, who was sujmmoend the other day before Mr. Knox at Marlborough-street, will, we trust, be a sufficient warning to those who venture to encroach upon our rights in this respect. Mr. Hetton, of Twickenham, the complainant in the case in question, said that on the 25th of July, he was walking through Rathbone-place with two friends when the defendant drove a perambulator against him. On being remonstrated with, the defendant told him he ought to get out of the way. The complainant replied that if the defendant ran against him ... morehe should charge him with assault. The defendant thereupon caleld him a blackguard, used the most abusive language to him and his friends, and a second and third time ran the perambulator purposely against him. The defendant, refusing to give his name and address, witness gave him into custody. The perambulator was a large one, and took up nearly the whole of the pavement. The case being clearly proved against the defendant, Mr. Knox observed that it was monstrous to take up the pavement with these perambulators, some of which were of large dimensions. The pavement was for passengers, not for vehicles of this kind. He refused to look closely into the charges and counter-charges of rough language; the evidence had made it clear that the defendant was pushing a perambulator on the pavement, where he had no business, and that he drove it against the complainant. He would have to pay a fine of 20s. and costs. We hail this decision with much satisfaction; for if, after the cabmen have driven us from the roadway, the pavement is to be made impassable by the"furious diving" of large perambulators, we may as well give up the attempt to traverse the streets at all.
