It has rolled sides and so me scrolls. It is in as-found condition and could use a bit of restoration or you could leave it just as is and it would make a wonderful display stroller for old bisque dolls or old teddy bears. Could use some glue on the back rest but the wicker itself is in remarkable condition considering how old it is and having n e ver been painted. The cushions are old and filled with excelsior. Obvioiusly. This old buggy is not perfect so please buy it as shown. It is really quite impressive in person and quite large. Rough measurements are about 45" long. 20" wide, 35" to top of handle. The back wheels are a big 22" in diame ter and the front wheels are 14" The wheels roll freely and smoothly. Vintage 1950's South Bend Toy Company Baby Doll Carriage/Stroller. Has an inner vinyl covered liner that matches lid. There is a large 5" crack at the back and a smaller crack on the front as well as an approx. 1"x1" missing piece on the front edge. Handle shows some rust and the metal is dull. These 4 brand new replacement wheels(for either doll or baby buggy/stroller/carriage) these were in the original box that they were mailed in when I got them but the box was completely falling apart so I do not have it- I would guess these to be over 50 years old because the former owner's only daughter is over 60 years old. The name'Chris Kaye Madison. Ill. 4751' is on the wheels. They are rubber and plastic but heavy thick plastic, they feel like metal but a magnet will not stick to them. The greenish part is exactly 3 1/4" across and with the rubber, they are a little over 4 1/4" They are very pretty with no scratches. Package will be a little over 2 pounds. Welsh Easy Tow Vintage baby doll stroller from the late 40's. Early 50's. The primary color is grey with white seams. There is a dark green stripe. Some wrinkles and dust from storage but has aged very well. The buggy is easy to set upright and collapse to folding position. The hood moves easily into position. The cover has a snap that is no longer attached to the material. It would need to be repaired to use this cover(snap is present) All other parts work the way they should. Buggy shows age& wear. vintage baby/ buggy blue with white wheels I think the handle and the bottom metal is Chrome but I am not sure.the metal is in very good condition no rust or corrosion. The hood or bonnet is plastic and has a few small holes in it. Some are the size of a pin hole. If you're in front of the buggy and you're looking at the right side the hood has a 2 inch split in it I took a picture of it. I will disassemble the handle at least for shipping. Old wicker stroller with metal frame and wicker body. All the parts seem to be there. The wicker looks to be in good shape. I really see not issues. The handle to push is made of wood. I put and old pillow in d base that fits perfect, it will come with it. Wheel push great, and I see little problems with it. It measures 26" from foot of stroller to handle of stroller, and 26" from wheels to top of moveable cover. Will be a large box to ship and it will be expensive. What a pleasure it is to offer this authentic Baby Doll Stroller with it's original factory stamped number(F418) all original paint and the original SOUTH BEND TOY COMPANY sticker still intact. There is a canopy but it looks too large for this stroller. But it is an original stroller canopy with all the original period hardware. Unless the wood has swelled out it's not for this stroller but comes with it in this auction just in case! Appears to be original paint. 65% of original factory sticker still there. Wicker has come unravelled. The length is there to be re-rushed. the wheels will need a little work, But they are all there and attached with the original caps.

The neat thing is that although the fabric has been nicely redone. It comes with a box where the original fabric, for both the carriage and the parasol, was stored in, to leave no doubt of its age. This item will be hard to pack and ship. Antique 1940's-50's Bilt Rite Baby Carriage Buggy Stroller in Brown. Bilt Rite was once the top of the line company for the production of baby buggies. Non-restored. These buggies can run about $450 and restored, upwards $950-$1000. As far as I can tell this one has not been restored but everything is in working order. Features spring suspension, adjustable canopy, and working brakes. Inside measures 31 inches long by 14 inches wide with a 7 inch depth to mattress top. Outside measure 48 inches long by 48 inches tall. Wheels are 12 inches in diameter. Condition is quite good for its age. This item is from an old 3 generation farm estate sale. See photos item is as shown. There is some rust, wheels have minor cracks, and there is some rust on the metal under frame. For your consideration today is this lovely doll stroller carriage. I do not know how old it is. But it is from a doll collectors private collection. Condition: Rolls well. Folds up and in great condition for the age. The material on the top has a few tears and holes. It looks like it has had previous repairs.
