DETAILS Vintage 1960's-1970's ... morePerego Baby Buggy Stroller Carriage Made In Italy Two Attachments: Bassinet& Toddler Stroller This listing is for a vintage 1960's/70's Perego brand baby buggy and stroller. This is a great vintage piece in nice condition for it's age. This set was made by Perego in Italy in the 1960's/70's. It features a steel tube frame with rubber wheels and two carrier attachments. The two attachments are a baby bassinet for a small baby to lie down in. And a toddler seat with straps and buckles and an adjustable back so the child can lie down or sit upright. Both attachments fit easily onto the same frame so you can use the bassinet when your child is small and change it out to the toddler stroller when they get a bit older. The carriers are made of steel tubing with a baby blue fabric covering and blue and white plaid rubberized interior for easy cleaning. Each of the attachments have hoods and covers and the stroller is fully adjustable. This is a great set for display or use! Condition: This stroller set is vintage and used but in good condition. There is some very light wear for it's age and discoloration on the fabric and lining from use and age. The steel tube frame has some light pitting in places and there is some wear on the white rubber wheels. Overall the stroller is structurally sound and rolls nicely. Please look closely at the photos to see all the pieces that are included and ask us any questions before bidding. Dimensions: With either of the carriage attachments the stroller measures approximately 46" x 36" x 21" although the bassinet attachment is a little bit larger. Shipping: This piece is large and all together weighs about 54 pounds before packing& boxing. It will be shipped in two separate boxes and may be partially disassembled for shipping. The seat itself is still in tact, I just want to mention it is weathering.it is a thin type of wood or wicker and is raising(weathering) It is not broken or cracked, however there is a small gap on one side~which you can see in the one pic(zoom in) and it will be the left side of your view. It looks as though that was the way it was made~to me. The thin black tires are worn down in spots, revealing the wire/metal that makes the wheel. The back of the buggy/carriage folds down(shown in picture) the front foot resting raises as well. In pausing to check over the buggy, to ensure the description is to the best of my ability~I have just discovered that the buggy folds up entirely.as if you are folding a stroller. Since I cannot add another picture without deleting one~if you are interested in this item, I will gladly send the picture of it folded to your email. The handle to push the buggy is weathered. It due to it's age naturally has the fading or rubbed down spots of the wood, markings, a couple slight cracks(not open) The wicker on the sides of this item, has only a couple little pieces of wicker missing(in two spots& they are not big) It's a beautiful piece, however keep in mind that it's still fragile. It's no longer crisp fresh wicker/wood. The coloring is fading/weathering throught the whole buggy~naturally giving it, it's antique unique look. These two items are as they were for years~together. USA from the colors and the lithography. It measures approx. 9.5" long from end to end. It has white metal wheels and a wonderful red/yellow vintage diamond-checkered pattern with sweet lithography images of a baby. Cats, and dogs, as pictured. The handlebar has a red rubber/plastic grip. It looks like there was probably a canopy with this buggy at one time. But it is no longer in place. At some time in it's life, someone made a little mattress insert for it which is pictured and included. Measurements: 5" tall x 9.5" long. From our research: We could find no markings. But we believe this toy was most likely manufactured in the USA by All Metal Products Co. Wyandotte, Michigan, USA. sometime in the 1930's-1940's. Condition: Nice graphics! Very sweet vintage"played with" used condition. Especially considering its age! It shows agewear and playwear, including wear on metal tires, dings, spotting, litho wear, rust/darkened metal spots, scuffs, rubs, and surface scratches, as pictured. Still, overall, it's"flaws" make this piece interesting and it has its own wonderful antique charm and character, and would be a fun unique addition to any collection! We are not sure, but this buggy may have had a canopy bonnet attached at one time, but is missing on this piece. It has rolled sides and so me scrolls. It is in as-found condition and could use a bit of restoration or you could leave it just as is and it would make a wonderful display stroller for old bisque dolls or old teddy bears. Could use some glue on the back rest but the wicker itself is in remarkable condition considering how old it is and having n e ver been painted. The cushions are old and filled with excelsior. Obvioiusly. This old buggy is not perfect so please buy it as shown. It is really quite impressive in person and quite large. Rough measurements are about 45" long. 20" wide, 35" to top of handle. The back wheels are a big 22" in diame ter and the front wheels are 14" The wheels roll freely and smoothly. The undercarriage is metal with some old green paint and maybe some white pin striping.not sure. The parasol holder is on the handle. THERE ARE 25+ PICTURES PLEASE CHECK ALL OF THEM! Vintage 1920s Beige Wicker Baby/Doll Carriage/Buggy/Stroller/Pram
This charming Buggy is unique because of the craftsmanship and attention to detail in the wicker. Iron wheels, pretty cotton lining and even a little hubcap. This carriage is 26" tall to the top of the hood. The carriage is 19" long, 32" long total. The wheels are 7 1/2 inches diameter and have a'G' on them. There is some damage to the top hood and the plastic windows are cracked. The grip of the handlebars is wrapped in tape but it almost appears to be made this way. I have several Carriages and can show you all of them and will accept the lower price for the larger purchase. This is local pick up from Orange County. California. Has original paint and pinstripes. The body and wheels are good. The wheels are wooden with metal rings. The top is in good condition with fringe. Does have a small tear. 1920s vintage baby carriage pram with swastika wheels!
Greetings. This auction is for a vintage 1920’s baby pram/ carriage. This is an old family relic that was brought over from Italy. The most unique thing about this item is that it has swastika(yes. The Nazi symbols) on all the hubcaps. I’ve been told that this has nothing to do with Nazis and used to mean“good luck” on 1920’s Italy, but it still makes this piece very unique. Solid iron bars and handle with a wooden base. The base is black with blue and gray accents. The inside is still intact bit the fabric padding has become detached from the wooden base. It has some rust. The carriage has some damage(mostly scratched paint) but still would be perfect for a collector or refurbished. Height– not including the handle- 22 inches Length- 28 inches Width- 12 inches And it does have swastika hubcaps. We are located in Los Angeles CA. Frame sturdy and very good condition. Has a brake for secure stop. About 42" tall to top of canopy. 35" tall to push bar total length 36" long, with handle about 43" long.
