Some of the features include: a foot pedal brake, the carriage itself swivels on the frame, the bassinet rotates approximately 160 degrees, the base platform within the carriage has an attached hinged headrest support for range of movement. I believe all of these features are distinguishable from the photos included for this listing. I have examined this doll carriage thoroughly and have not been able to distinguish any markings, stampings or other discernable aspects relating to the manufacturer. When taking the photos, I attempted to display the carriage showing all pertinent characteristics that a potential buyer may be interested in. I made sure to display the unit with any potential problem areas displayed, such as the tires and bottom frame- showing the most noticable wear areas of the hardened rubber tires. Mid to late 1800's baby doll buggy. Carriage. This is in strikingly great condition. Wheels turn easily. There are no defects in the wood. The metal, the or the canvas. The top and inside canvas is in great condition. Of course the canvas is stiff. The hinges work but we did not open it all the way for fear of harming the canvas. We have not attempted any efforts to restore this buggy. It is dusted and wiped with a micro fiber cloth. We leave the restoring to the pros. Mid century vintage baby carriage. All metal construction with vinyl or rubberized canvas sides and hard rubber wheels. It folds up for storage. In very good condition with just some small holes on each side of the sun shade that have been repaired with black gorilla tape. The wheels had a few small cracks in the tires. They have been filled in with epoxy and painted to match. Rolls freely and comes with a parking brake. Would be great for displaying a large vintage doll. Antique 1940's-50's Bilt Rite Baby Carriage Buggy Stroller in Brown. Bilt Rite was once the top of the line company for the production of baby buggies. Non-restored. These buggies can run about $450 and restored, upwards $950-$1000. As far as I can tell this one has not been restored but everything is in working order. Features spring suspension, adjustable canopy, and working brakes. Inside measures 31 inches long by 14 inches wide with a 7 inch depth to mattress top. Outside measure 48 inches long by 48 inches tall. Wheels are 12 inches in diameter. Condition is quite good for its age. This item is from an old 3 generation farm estate sale. See photos item is as shown. There is some rust, wheels have minor cracks, and there is some rust on the metal under frame. The hood on the buggy folds down and the handle can fold up over the ... moretop lowering the bed down to rest right on top of the wheels. But it can not be folded up any more than that. One of the wood pieces that the wheel connects to is broken. There is some split wood on the bent wood(picture 10) and the rest of the wood is soiled, scuffed, and scraped. Selling a pair of 6 1/2 inch buggy wheels for a baby stroller or carriage or old wagon. This pair of wheels has an axle hole of about 1/4" and the axle shaft is about 1.25 inches long. The metal wheel alone is about 5.5 inches in diameter but with the rubber tire. The outside diameter is 6.5 inches. Spokes are real solid and tire rubber is solid also. Vintage Perego Pram Baby Buggy Italian Carriage Stroller Bassinet NO RESERVE!!!!
Okay so here's the story my fellow ebayers! I am a self described seeker of relics(and other things) But Italian made buggies are not things I come across everyday. My daughter actually found this buggy at a flea market auction in rather sad shape. The original plan was to fix it up and she was going to use it for her child who has yet to make his appearance. After finding out she is having a boy, she decided this stroller would no longer suite her needs! So after weeks of work and restoring this nice relic, I find myself stuck with a stroller that I have no use for. I realize this one is not as ornate as some of the ones selling on Ebay, but she sure did clean up rather nicely. however, there are some cosmetic issues that I included in the pictures. The vinyl inside the buggy has two small tears. The metal can be seen on one side of ... morethe buggy cover(also in the pictures) and some smalls stains in the top shade portion that I am not sure how to safely clean out. She sure has been a labor of love and I fear I will not get out what's been invested.but I don't have a choice but to try and sell it. The stroller wheels around perfectly and the chrome shines like a brand new penny. I am not certain of the year as I really do not know much about them. A local antique store owner nearby believes that it is probably early 60's possibly late 50's, but that was his best estimation. At any rate, I am partial to her! I think she is a beauty. Hopefully someone out there in ebay land will agree. Normally returns are not a problem, but with the bigger size of this item that's probably not the best way to go. For auction is a beautiful 1880s baby buggy carriage with the original blue upholstery. It is in beautiful condition with only a few minor flaws. All of which are fixable. The upholstery is in great original condition, there are tassels that hang in strategic spots to decorate it, and it rolls very nicely. You don't see them in this condition very often. This listing is for a beautiful Antique Victorian Wa kefield Wicker B aby C arriage with Parasol. It was manufactured by Heywood Brothers and Wakefield Company of Gardner Mass. My research indicates that this style carriage appeared around 1850. It is in good condition for its age. The only damage to the wicker is on the top back rest. See pic. Also someone started to do a restoration job on it and removed all the material from the inside of the carriage down to bare wood. 3 of the wheels are original wood wheels. One wheel is a replacement metal wheel. I also have a 5th metal wheel as a spare. The parasol has many moth holes in it but it's still amazing that it's still intact. There is some damage to the top hood and the plastic windows are cracked. The grip of the handlebars is wrapped in tape but it almost appears to be made this way. Up for bid is this really nice vintage baby carriage made by Marmet of England. It is in very good condition. Complete with original accessories. Original tag on the inside reads patent 1923 and 1929 but I am unsure of the exact year this was made. Body and lining are all in near excellent condition. The chrome is in good shape but showing it's age. Hard white plastic tires are in fairly good condition as well. Springs are working perfectly. All mechanisms work very well. Antique LLOYD Wicker Baby / Doll Carriage / Buggy ~ Very Unique Rare Adjustable
Antique Wicker Baby or Doll Carriage This antique carriage had belonged to my grandmother. I'm not sure if it was hers when she was little or if she had purchased it but she used it to display a large doll. This unique carriage is made of wicker. Metal and leather. It says Lloyd on both of the front hubcaps. The canopy, the back part of the seat and the foot rest are all adjustable. The canopy is hinged and can be positioned either up or down. there are two metal keys on each side that loosen& tighten the canopy) The back of the seat has 4 or 5 different settings- the baby can sit up or lay down. The foot rest can be lowered if the child is sitting and can be raised if the child is laying down so that his/her feet are level. It measures approx. 29" tall(to the top of the canopy/ hood) and approx. 52" from end to end(from ... morethe end of the canopy to the end of the handle) and is approx. 20 1/2" wide(including the metal locks on each side) The handle measures approx. 26" long. The seat measures approx. 10 1/2" wide x 9" deep. The front wheels are approx. 10 1/2" in diameter. The rear wheels are approx. 2 1/2" in diameter. It is in good condition for its age. There is a lighter discolored spot near the top of the canopy. There are some nicks along the edge of the wicker trim, the cloth on the underside of the canopy has some stains and a couple of tears in the fabric, the wheels squeak when rolled, there is a little bit of light rust in spots and it is a little dusty. RARE AMISH BABY BUGGY- DON'T PASS UP THIS UNIQUE ITEM! This is an original baby buggy made by the Amish in the late 1800s or early 1900s. It is in very good condition. The wheels rolls nicely, the bonnet moves up an down freely. The interior appears to be original and has some cracking and areas which have been taped. The bonnet material was refurbished but has original hardware and"windows" in the sides. The wheels still have the metal ring on the outer rim and it is in good shape and fully intact. Email reasonable offers This Vintage Baby Buggy Carriage is very rare and very unique as you can see. What makes this item stand out are the lower wheels. Of how large they are and that both front and rear wheels are at two different sizes. The rear wheels are slightly larger than the front wheels. As I know this is unique and rare design. The rear wheels measure top to bottom 18inches approximately and the front wheels measure approximately 16inches both still have the old rubber on the metal rim portion and are in great shape. These wheels also makes this baby buggy carriage unique due to how large they are. Wheels seem to be able to be taken off item. I have not tried to due to age. Overall height of baby buggy carriage is approximately 48 inches tall open width is about 21inches outside wheel to outside wheel is 23inches about and length ... moreis approximately 47 inches. The very unique design is very impressive. The wicker basket looks like new and the design on basket is unique as well. The inside has the technology to assist in the baby to either lay flat or have the baby sitting more upright as well. All seems to be working properly. The brake is working properly and very rare design look which locks both back brakes and it functions properly as well. The next best thing is this baby buggy is very old late 1800’s design early 1900’s I’m not sure exactly on the period but overall this is a very nice piece and would make a great addition to any collection. There is one spoke wire missing on rear wheel. And the fabric is old with some very old vintage stains. Large Antique Silver Cross Pram Baby Stroller Carriage Buggy 1950s WASHINGTON DC
Up for sale. A large antique Silver Cross Pram Baby Stroller- Carriage- Buggy. Stroller is earth brown color, made during the 1950s in Birmingham, England. The metal baby carrier can be removed off the chrome chassis. The bedding can be propped up. This is a very nice stroller. This stroller is a full size. It measures roughly 46" tall x 45" long with the handles open x 24" wide, from wheel to wheel. I don't know if the white bedding is original or not. Condition: Wear is expected of a baby carriage this old. Below I've listed everything that I see on the pram. 1) There are no tears or rips in the fabric. It looks very good. 2) On the fabric that covers the bed area. Which comes off, liguid was spilled on one area. 3) The rubber wheels and the break pad show the most wear. They are cracked and dry. 4) One of the two ... morebreak pads is missing. 5) On all four sides of the metal carrier there are a few scratches. Noticable on close inspection. 6) The chrome chassis looks good with m inimal surface rust. Except around the spokes area on the wheels. 7) T he ribbed black handle has a little white mark. Removable with the right cleaner. 8) The metal logo on the front side has part of it loose and disconnected from the rest of the logo. Seen in the 4th photo. The logo looks intact. If left alone, the logo stays intact, but if you move the last 1/2" smaller right part of the logo, it moves, which could be super glued to keep it stayed together. Shipping note: Local pick up is available in the Washington DC area. Stroller is large and heavy. I'll mail the stroller in two boxes. The shipping cost will include insurance and tracking info. I could ship this via Greyhound. The cost would be less, but there is no insurance for it, and it would be transfered from bus to bus across country. International buyers. 1910-20s Beige German/English Baby/Doll Art Deco Buggy/Carriage/Pram
This Vintage/Antique buggy is unique because of the ART DECO design. It is probably German. Possibly English 1910-1920s. The height is 28 1/4" to the top of the handle and 25" long. The wheel is about 5 1/2- 6" diameter. I am not sure how the hood fits on but there is intact apparatus. The hub caps look like they are aluminum which increases the value! There is a thin grooved plastic or rubber fitting on the handle. There is a little pocket in the front holding leather straps. This is local pick up Southern CA but if you live out of the area. Antique Wicker Baby Carriage Buggy Doll 30's 40's
This was my grandmothers from the 30's. It has been in their home for years and is in great condition considering the age. The wicker shows very well. Only one spot of scratches as shown. Rubber and hubcaps are still on all of the wheels. It does have some surface rust as expected. One of the plastic windows has cracked and is broken out. This would make a great decorator piece.
