Obvioiusly. This old buggy is not perfect so please buy it as shown. It is really quite impressive in person and quite large. Rough measurements are about 45" long. 20" wide, 35" to top of handle. The back wheels are a big 22" in diame ter and the front wheels are 14" The wheels roll freely and smoothly. Antique Victorian Child's Baby Carriage Buggy Stroller Dated 1877& Signed Description This is an exquisite Antique Victorian Baby Stroller with its original umbrella frame and attachment. All parts are original including the reclining seat. The seat upholstery has been professionally recovered without removing the original fabric or stuffing( this was done due to excessive fraying of the original fabric) The feet area tapestry is original and still intact( does show wear) The original umbrella was also recovered over the old fabric due to torn& worn original fabric. The umbrella is adjustable and all the mechanisms are intact and working. The best part of this beautiful stroller is the great condition of the carriage body& frame work and the fact that it still has the manufactures dated plaque attached to the back of the stroller ... moreseat( see photos) Manufactured by the Downing Carriage Co. Erie, PA. Patents range from 1877 to 1883. The front part of the stroller is surrounded by ornate spindles and ornately shaped cane. Which forms a heart shape design along all three sides. The two sides of the stroller also have metal safety rails attached. The outer sides of the stroller seat are oak wood framed with tightly woven wicker panels that are all intact with no holes present. The side pins that hold the seat in an upright position are present. These pins can be removed to lay the baby down. The child’s strap-in leather belt is also present; however. One end is missing a short piece of the strap; both buckles are present. The front two side wheels measure 20" in diameter and are all wood with metal rims. The two back side wheels measure 22" in diameter and are also all wood with metal rims. There is one tin hub cap missing on the left front wheel( decorative only. Does not affect the function of the wheel or stroller- see photo) The push handle is all solid oak. Ornately shaped with metal tin caps on the ends. There is some minor surface rust on areas of the metal frame underneath the stroller

This is a great vintage piece in nice condition for it's age. This set was made by Perego in Italy in the 1960's/70's. It features a steel tube frame with rubber wheels and two carrier attachments. The two attachments are a baby bassinet for a small baby to lie down in. And a toddler seat with straps and buckles and an adjustable back so the child can lie down or sit upright. Both attachments fit easily onto the same frame so you can use the bassinet when your child is small and ... morechange it out to the toddler stroller when they get a bit older. The carriers are made of steel tubing with a baby blue fabric covering and blue and white plaid rubberized interior for easy cleaning. Vintage Pram with detachable parasol. The parasol has springs top& bottom that allow you to adjust where it covers. It is missing 1 rod in the top of it but it can most likely be replaced. The leather straps on the bottom are ok but could use new ones. They hold the seat in the frame and act as the shocks. Break works perfect. Covering is really nice. Wheels are 6" and in good shape. These buggies run about $450 and restored, $950-$1000. This one has not been restored but everything is in working order. Features spring suspension, adjustable headrest or seat inside, adjustable canopy, removable snap half cover, and working brakes. Inside measures 31 inches long by 14 inches wide with a 7 inch depth to mattress top. Mattress is 2 inches thick. Outside measure 48 inches long by 48 inches tall. Wheels are 12 inches in diameter. Condition is quite good for its age-it's been passed down in the family for a few generations. These 4 brand new replacement wheels(for either doll or baby buggy/stroller/carriage) these were in the original box that they were mailed in when I got them but the box was completely falling apart so I do not have it- I would guess these to be over 50 years old because the former owner's only daughter is over 60 years old. The name'Chris Kaye Madison. Ill. 4751' is on the wheels. They are rubber and plastic but heavy thick plastic, they feel like metal but a magnet will not stick to them. The greenish part is exactly 3 1/4" across and with the rubber, they are a little over 4 1/4" They are very pretty with no scratches. Package will be a little over 2 pounds. The Buggy however is complete and in Great Working Condition. This is a very durable buggy that does not get stuck on sidewalk cracks like most of the newer strollers do. RARE Welsh Baby Buggy 10" Metal Wheels& Tires These are what I believe to be a very special set of Welsh wheels. I did quite a bit of research and was unable to find anything similar. These were likely wheels used on high-end buggies for the elite. The tires measure 10" in diameter outside to outside. They are made of a hard durable material much like trike tires. The wheels are metal with metal spokes. The center caps are made of hard plastic with the Welsh logo placed in the center. Vintage antique baby pram carriage- stroller- buggy. It is missing the hood/canopy piece. Overall condition is very nice for the age- there are no rips. Tears, holes or major stains- needs a light cleaning. The pink mattress has no rips or tears in the pink plastic. There is a little paint loss here and there(nothing major) Rolls easily- plenty of wear left on the wheels. The carriage part measures 32" x 15 1/2" x 9" It collapses down to 15" very easily- bring the handle forward and it goes down for easy storage. Great way to display vintage dolls or bears. vintage baby/ buggy blue with white wheels I think the handle and the bottom metal is Chrome but I am not sure.the metal is in very good condition no rust or corrosion. The hood or bonnet is plastic and has a few small holes in it. Some are the size of a pin hole. If you're in front of the buggy and you're looking at the right side the hood has a 2 inch split in it I took a picture of it. I will disassemble the handle at least for shipping. Up for sale we have a very rare vintage baby carriage. It is estimated to be from the late 1800's or early 1900's. It has metal framing. Metal wheels, with a wooden body, there is a pad where the baby would normally lay. and if you lift it up there are springs underneath, it has a leather hood. This particular carriage carries a unique crest on the side. It also displays a great deal of what looks like hand carving/wood scallops on the sides of the carriage. I asked an antique dealer and he suggested this possibly belonged to a wealthy family. He also explained that the more decorative ones were often special ordered and made personally for certain wealthy families. This is a"rare baby carriage" that looks great for its age. This is an antique. Victorian, full size wicker pram. Pram made of metal and wicker. With canvas seat. Rolls smoothly. The wicker weave has loosened up a bit and may need to be re-attached at edges, rubber wheels have a few cracks, the curved area where the child's feet rest is coming loose, you can see the nails up above where it was attached to, and may need to be re-attached. I will be removing the handle for shipping and my husband said that the bolts will probably break when I remove them, so be aware that those 4 bolts may not be original, I don't know yet. CHECK THIS BARN FIND OUT. I just picked this up from an old closed up Co-Op here in the backwoods of northern Michigan. This cool wooden and metal baby carriage is OLD. I was just informed that this is actually a VERY OLD baby wheel chair) This stroller/wheel chair stands a proud 36 inches tall and is 26 inches front to back. There is one turned dowel on the front that is broken(I'll be happy to glue and clamp it if someone wants me to. See the picture) The backrest board is missing. This was nailed on so it looks to be quite easy to replace. The tires are very nice with only a few places where the outer edge is missing(see pictures) The wheels are beautiful spoke wheels that are 10 inches across with a dozen metal spokes. 6 on the inside and six on the outside of each wheel. Surface rust throughout makes the patina totally awesome. The ... moreback handle is also turned wood. The metal frame is made of flat steel that must have been forged to turn and go around the axles. Both of the wooden arm rests and the bottom seat are still very nice and solid. There are four old strings/cords that are hanging on it that I'll just leave well enough alone as I think they ad even more character to this little carriage/ baby buggy/ wheel chair. Vintage Wonda Baby Pram Carriage Buggy Stroller with Toile Bedding
This pram carriage buggy stroller is in very good conditon. It is very clean and the chrome is in really good shape for it's age. Still shiny! The aluminun plates on the bottom are a little stained. But everyone i have seen has this same issue. It still has it's hub caps. The inside is very white"see pictures" usually they yellow with age. It also comes with a toile pram blanket and covered mattress pad. The mattress pad can be removed to the original white if desired. It is also in good condition. As far as i know from research it is made by Babyhood and is a Wonda pram. You can take the top part off and make it a bassinet. You can also remove the chrome stand from the bassinet, and fold the handles down on the stroller base to make it easier to store or load in your vehicle. This is a really cute and well made baby doll buggy. Carriage or stroller. It is made of wood with ornate spiral patterns, a metal carriage frame and wheels, with a black canvas top and interior. I have no idea of its age, but people tell me and other listings indicate it is an antique. I am calling it vintage or perhaps antique, similar to myself. I will let you decide and call it what you like. I just think it's really neat, especially with the little baby doll in her little white outfit. The doll is of course modern. Up for sale. A large antique Silver Cross Pram Baby Stroller- Carriage- Buggy. Stroller is earth brown color, made during the 1950s in Birmingham, England. The metal baby carrier can be removed off the chrome chassis. The bedding can be propped up. This is a very nice stroller. This stroller is a full size. It measures roughly 46" tall x 45" long with the handles open x 24" wide, from wheel to wheel. I don't know if the white bedding is original or not. Condition: Wear is expected of a baby carriage this old. Below I've listed everything that I see on the pram. 1) There are no tears or rips in the fabric. It looks very good. 2) On the fabric that covers the bed area. Which comes off, it seems like something was spilled on one area. 3) The rubber wheels and the break pad show the most wear. They are cracked and dry. ... more4) One of the two break pads is missing. 5) On all four sides of the metal carrier there are a few scratches. Noticable on close inspection. 6) The chrome chassis looks good with m inimal surface rust. Except around the spokes area on the wheels. 7) The metal logo on the front side has part of it loose and disconnected from the rest of the logo. Seen in the 4th photo. The logo looks intact. If left alone, the logo stays intact, but if you move the last 1/2" smaller right part of the logo, it moves, which could be super glued to keep it stayed together. Shipping note: Local pick up is available in the Washington DC area. Stroller is large and heavy. I'll mail the stroller in two boxes. The shipping cost will include insurance and tracking info. I could ship this via Greyhound. The cost would be less, but there is no insurance for it, and it would be transfered from bus to bus across country. Concerning European/Austrailian clients, I am not sure if I can send this stroller, since it is too large to send via USPS. Please contact me before bidding.
