antique baby carriage stroller with crome wheels
THE GOOD it is a very cool item and hard to find.the person that i got it from told me that he brought it from france or germany one of those two places while he was in the military service. it has a lot of chrome parts on it as you can see on the pics. the wheels are about 10' in diameter and like 1/2' wide about 30' tall x 34' long x 18 wide from wheel to wheel and and between 13-15 lbs heavy. it had a little rust when i got it but i spend some time cleaning it and it looks good. but it could use a second hand. i don't know what brand is it the only thing that i can tell you is that has a logo of a crown.that u can see on one of the photos.i did try to find something with that logo but couldn't find anything like it. The metal circle at the top was covered in rubber. Most of which has broken off or has been covered with tape. The rest of the metal frame is painted blue. It is designed to fold, but we haven't attempted to fold it. The seat is 1/4" thick wood, also painted blue. The 5" rear wheels are stationary. The 2.5" front wheels swivel on casters. It includes 3 expandable brackets for the canopy, 4 fully rolling metal wheels, and the original wooden handle. Nothing is replicated on this item whatsoever and absolutely no hinge, screw, or what-not is missing from the frame. This model was produced between 1904 and 1907. ANTIQUE/ VINTAGE BUNNY RABBIT BABY DOLL BUGGIE SO UNIQUE AND QUITE RARE! The wheels are iron as are the bars that go up to the wood handle. The body of the buggie is hard wicker and wood. The body of the bunny head is very heavy and I believe to be carved wood. The material inside the buggie must be cotton. But it has a stiffer feel. The fabric has some light staining, but there are no tears or holes. The lace is all in one piece with no rips or tears. Measures 24" long from the tip of the nose to the handle. Measures 21 1/2" high from the floor to the top of the handle. The body of the buggie measures 9" wide. The wood handle measures 9" wide. A very nice woman recently reached out to me with this information about the carriage. She said that she found an article about the carriage in Country Living on collecting and ... morethey said the carriage was made from various parts at different times. The wheels late 19th century. And the head first part of 20th century. The wire and wooden handle and the oval straw basket were made in late 20th century.
