Antique 6.5" Baby Stroller Buggy Carriage Pram Wheels - Lot of 2
Selling a pair of 6 1/2 inch buggy wheels for a baby stroller or carriage or old wagon. This pair of wheels has an axle hole of about 1/4" and the axle shaft is about 1.25 inches long. The metal wheel alone is about 5.5 inches in diameter but with the rubber tire. The outside diameter is 6.5 inches. Spokes are real solid and tire rubber is solid also. For auction is a beautiful 1880s baby buggy carriage with the original blue upholstery. It is in beautiful condition with only a few minor flaws. All of which are fixable. The upholstery is in great original condition, there are tassels that hang in strategic spots to decorate it, and it rolls very nicely. You don't see them in this condition very often. Hi. I'm selling an antique Rex Stroll O Chair baby stroller or carriage. Based on similar strollers listed I have to believe this beautiful vintage stroller was made in the 50's or 60's. It is absolutely beautiful. Please note that this auction is for the stroller and the stroller mattress only. It appears to have been kept in great shape but if examined meticulously one can see that there is a very small tear in the material on the right side of the canopy that is barely visible. Up for sale. A large antique Silver Cross Pram Baby Stroller- Carriage- Buggy. Stroller is earth brown color, made during the 1950s in Birmingham, England. The metal baby carrier can be removed off the chrome chassis. The bedding can be propped up. This is a very nice stroller. This stroller is a full size. It measures roughly 46" tall x 45" long with the handles open x 24" wide, from wheel to wheel. I don't know if the white bedding is original or not. Condition: Wear is expected of a baby carriage this old. Below I've listed everything that I see on the pram. 1) There are no tears or rips in the fabric. It looks very good. 2) On the fabric that covers the bed area. Which comes off, liguid was spilled on one area. 3) The rubber wheels and the break pad show the most wear. They are cracked and dry. 4) One of the two ... morebreak pads is missing. 5) On all four sides of the metal carrier there are a few scratches. Noticable on close inspection. 6) The chrome chassis looks good with m inimal surface rust. Except around the spokes area on the wheels. 7) T he ribbed black handle has a little white mark. Removable with the right cleaner. 8) The metal logo on the front side has part of it loose and disconnected from the rest of the logo. Seen in the 4th photo. The logo looks intact. If left alone, the logo stays intact, but if you move the last 1/2" smaller right part of the logo, it moves, which could be super glued to keep it stayed together. Shipping note: Local pick up is available in the Washington DC area. Stroller is large and heavy. I'll mail the stroller in two boxes. The shipping cost will include insurance and tracking info. This antique carriage is in excellent condition. It was stored indoors and is the nicest you will ever see for its age. This antique carriage is fully functional and ready for immediate use. The carriage was Union made by Bilt-Rite Baby Carriage Co. Inc. in Brooklyn, NY sometime between the mid 1920's- 1950's based on information shown on the tags. The color is green and the model of the coach is"Supreme" as shown on the emblem in the photographs. Again, everything is intact and in excellent condition except one brown mark on the hood which I have not tried to remove. This is a must see, the photographs do not do it justice. One of the photographs shows the inside of the carriage. This was my grandmothers from the 30's. It has been in their home for years and is in great condition considering the age. The wicker shows very well. Only one spot of scratches as shown. Rubber and hubcaps are still on all of the wheels. It does have some surface rust as expected. One of the plastic windows has cracked and is broken out. This would make a great decorator piece. It was manufactured by the Heywood Brothers.The model is known as"The Heywood" it has a plack on the floor of the carriage) Its measurem ents are: 54"L from tip to tip. 24" W and 43"H from ground to its highest poin t. The carriage is in great condition. It will need some minor restoration, the floor cushion is missing, but it is still very displayable. Fortunately. All the wicker is great condition and there is no visible damage to it. The umbrella is missing, the attaching rod lock is still in place. The padding is a little faded. The burgundy pink color is in good condition, no tears, or rips or stains, just need a carriage floor cushion, one could be made easily. It is approximately from the 19 00's- 1910 Era so it is very old ... morebut it rolls so smooth and easy. It has wonderful shocks. This would be a great. Hedstrom Antique Baby Stroller, with N.Y. and Pennsylvania Inspection Stamps
Manufactured in the early 1940s. I think maybe 1943, the manufacturer's tag has two inspection stamps on it. One stamp is from Pennsylvania and one is a 1 cent New York inspection stamp. The stroller is in good shape. Some stitching has deteriorated but all material is present, and only normal wear from use and age. A retainer cotter pin is missing from the left rear axle which allows the wheel to slide off the axle. The repair takes only a cotter pin, but I'll not fix it unless at buyer's request.

1920s Family Antique Wood Wheels Green Wicker Baby Buggy Stroller PICKUP Ohio
We are not antique collectors. But instead have some family items to part with due to clearing their estate. This buggy held my father and his siblings who were all born in the early 1920s- and WWII veterans. It could be FA Whitney Carriage Company but no markings on it that we can find- so don't know the manufacturer. There is a name plate inside the seat area. But it is blank or it was painted over. It measures approx. 45" length from handle to end; handle height is 36" From floor to top of hood is approx. 40" Width of baby buggy is 19" Wood Wheels are 13.5" diam The wood wheel spokes and wood have hard rubber tire and have lots of wear left in them. A real nice piece that moves well. Has a foot brake that works perfectly, and the adjustable carriage hood moves back and forth. Also the baby's seat is adjustable ... moreto a reclining position. Springs appear in good condition. Also had the seat cushion inside. The cushion is soiled of course. But the buggy is in good condition. No damage to the wicker that we can see.
