Has a very small(less than 1mm) dent that is barely visible, and probably won't affect its performance. Other than that, the instrument is in great condition, looks clean and well-taken care of. Here’s a rare find. This is a lacquer and nickel Conn Victor trumpet. The serial number is 988399 which puts the date of manufacture around 1962. I believe this model is called the 22B. On the ornately engraved bell it reads“Conn U.S.A. Very well made. It has; free moving tuning slides, 4 5/8” bell, 438 bore, 90-95% of its finish, nickel valve casings, bottom spring valves, no big dents and a hard shell/wood Conn case. It has a couple of dings on the bell(see pic) but all in all looks great. The number three valve is missing. The chamber is in good shape and the other valves are in good condition. Me? I’m not a music store. Looking for instruments and getting them into the hands of players is a hobby of mine. Buy accordingly. I’ve never come across one of these. There are a few dings/scratches but this 52 year old is super clean and a vibrant finish with the case also in exceptional condition. The top of the Supro solidbody line when built by Valco(National) It actually has three pickups: two hot single-coil pickups(look like humbuckers) plus a third unit located in the bridge which isn't a piezo as some think- two magnets hang down from the saddle into a coil located in the base(produces an interesting and quieter"acoustic" ... moresound) There's a 3-way pickup selector and master volume control, with individual recessed screwdriver driven volume& tone controls for each pickup, the idea being to set your preferences and use the 3-way selector to switch between your"pre-set" tones. The tuners are single line 3-on-a-plate Klusons with tulip buttons. This vintage instrument is fully original and is 100% complete including the original hardshell case. All electronics appear original(the 2 min-pots I could see the date on were 27th week of 1959) And work(the min pots are a little scratchy but fully functional) and provide great sounding and unique tones. It has Valco's usual 1.625" nut and a chunky neck that plays well all the way up with the original frets in great shape. The plastic back(which covers a bunch of weight-relieving routs as well as the electronics) is also in great condition. S/N: 423042; circa 1953- 484" bore& Opera Glass tuning mechanism Finish is p olished brass w/ nickel trim& crooks• This nice 1953 Conn Victor cornet is from a transitional period; it's style was only produced for a couple of years around 1953. As the cornet's main body is polished brass with nickel trim and slide crooks. The serial number is 423042. It has the unique and typical micro-adjusted"Opera Glass" tuning slide. Located on the bell's tail. All valves are corrosion-free. Smooth, responsive, with a drop or two of valve oil. All slides function properly. New water key springs& corks. The bore of this cornet is a#2+1/2(per the early Conn reference) Which is a 0.484" measure at the inner 2nd valve slide. ... moreAnd these mid-century horns are very solid and heavy. All-in-all. The horn is in pretty good shape; no damage other than minor dents. Which were raised by a qualified technician, nor has it had any major repairs. The horn has also been ultrasonically cleaned. Note: What may appear to be a substantial wrinkle in one pic at the bellwire. Is not. The reflection of objects in the room is the cause of this. Seen in the right-side view. Sorry. No additional pics; the camera stopped working again. Included is a later-era vintage Conn Wonder short shank mouthpiece. Plus an attractive. Rare Conn 34-A Concert Special Cornet ca 1953 Brass Lacquer
Rare Conn 34-A Concert Special Cornet ca 1953 Brass Lacquer ser# 422xxx made in Elkhart IN. Horn has been chemically cleaned and is in good mechanical condition and non-compression water key corks installed. Valves smooth and tuning slides pull smooth. This model was made only for several years still a good player or great collector. Horn has scratches. Dings, plating loss and some dent removal. Horn comes in a case in good condition and no mouthpiece. From the Conn Loyalist web site: This is the third one of these I have ever seen. At first I thought these were 12A Coprion's with a brass bell. Essentially a 112A(see separate listing) But I have received proof that this is in fact called a 34A: a picture of the underside of the mouthpiece receiver with"34A" clearly stamped on it. As far as I can tell at this point these were ... moreonly produced for a short period in 1953 and 1954. The 34A doesn't appear in either the 1950 or the 1955 catalogs. But it is in the 1954 catalog. Occasionally you see what appears to be a 12A with a red brass bell, as opposed to a Coprion bell. The models of those I have seen are engraved"12A" on the bell, so are classified as"12A" and not"34A" At first circumstantial evidence suggested the 34A was called the"Symphony Grand" but the 1954 catalog lists it as the"Concert Special" It has a#1½(0.458" bore. I have learned that the third slide. Without the finger ring to adjust the pitch of a low D and C# is slightly longer than it is on modern instruments. On modern instruments the low Eb is in tune, but the low D and C# are quite sharp. On these older cornets with the longer third slide and no finger ring the Eb is a bit flat and the D and C# are slightly sharp, but not as sharp as they are on later instruments. It was thought that the slightly flat Eb and slightly sharp D and C# were within the abilities of the player to lip into tune. As far as I can tell at this point. All Conn cornets built before 1958 take a short

This drum is constructed of a sturdy 3-ply Vintage Ludwig shell, and comes sporting the integral maple reinforcing rings. The drum also features the iconic Keystone Badge[transition period] and a P83 throw off& butt plate. As it was noted above. Trumpet OLDS Ambassador, NICE ORIGINAL HORN, BEAUTIFUL factory lacquer, 1974
Olds" AMBASSADOR" model trumpet from 1974 or so in factory lacquered brass. A great model in the Olds lineup(serial 8XXXXX) this is a serious playing. Nice looking Olds trumpet from the early 1970s made at the Fullerton plant. Very pretty horn, and a wonderful player. These are one of the great solid playing horns from that era. A good playing VERY nice condition American made instrument. This example has been not been restored in the past as far as I can see. It shows some use/wear in finish, lacquer and brass is all in good shape, showing a few scratches from use. Looks to be a very low hours trumpet, very tight, HUGE compression, in fact the 3rd slide bounces back if you do not depress 3rd valve. I cleaned this lacquered horn by hand, used a special method for brass inner slides, and a different one for the lacquered brass. Instrument ... moreshows little age/use evidence, retaining the wonderful qualities that make these early Olds instruments more than pretty pieces, but real players and such great long lasting well built horns. There is some slight evidence of use, a little nick/small scratch here and there in the original factory lacquer, no obvious signs of any repairs ever having been done in the past, leadpipe clean and shiny inside. A rare example of a neat, fun model from that era, really nice design, mellow tone in the solid design. It really sings, fun to play. The original factory engraving is in VERY good shape, looks to be just as was from the factory. Horn looks better in the hand than in these photos. These horns feel solid. Very pro in the hand, beautiful older style bracing, measuring at.460 bore, this one shows very pretty, NO dents or dings, it does NOT look the the age it is, very stylish and great player. Don't think this instrument was ever used much, mostly sat in a closet it seems. This instrument has not been restored by me. For those of you who know the Jupiter 1600"Ingram" story I won't bore you with all the details. Suffice to say this horn comes with all the attachments(2 slides. Heavy caps, extra springs, valve guides, buttons and nodal Xons) slide pouch, attachments box and literature for it. For those of you who don't know what on earth I'm talking about. An explanation of the history of Jupiter XO horns can be found on Roger Ingrams web site. Also the Kessler Music site gives accurate info. Some may not agree with me but I would not reccomend an"Ingram" for student or beginner use. Really. To get the best out of the horn requires some experience. These horns are remarkable players, they really do perform well and with careful choice of slide and use of the Xons you can tailor the horn to your specific needs. This horn is ... morein a lovely lacquer finish and is truly in new condition. It was bought in Jan. this year and played several times only but legally it is a used instrument. However. There are absolutely no marks. Scratches or dings anywhere on the horn- it is precisely as first received. Which I think is proved by the photos. The horn comes with a most attractive hardshell case, also unmarked(see pics) not the usual lightweight Tourlite one. Even the 3C m'piece is still in its sealed packet! Reason for selling this beautiful horn? Health related but also financial. I repeat. It measures slightly under 6 1/4" square across the red surface at the top. The sides do extend a little beyond the red surface area. This stand is very slightly under 4 1/4" tall. Overall the condition is good. There is some wear from age and use including some minor old chipping and lacquer loss( please see photos) There is also some old staining on the red surface of this stand. One of the lateral cross pieces at the very base has separated from the legs. Up for sale is this nice Kanstul 1001 MLP trumpt. This is Kanstul's redo of the old Chicago style Benge MLP(medium large plus) which has a.464 bore. Comes with bright lacquer finish and a"BandNow" case. But no mouthpiece. This is in pristene hardly ever played almost"like new" condtition with the valve ports still shiny. I can't find a ding or scratch on this. Recently just cleaned to remove manufacturer grease/oils on the inside so is clean, with new slide grease and valves oiled ready to play. Plays like a new horn. Selling this for a buddy of mine who wants to use the money towards another horn,etc.

This type of horn is typically used in lieu of a french horn in a moving/parade band as more manageable from a handling and playing standpoint. The horn was taken care of. Some minor scratching to the instrument's finish. But no dings or dents that I can see. This is a Selman Model CA4085. Comes with a great case. The previous owner did put identifying marks on the case in some sort of paint that I did not attempt to remove. Not sure how old the horn is, but I would venture to guess that less than 20 years old. The horn is 20.25" long by 11" wide. These mid-hundreds Marks blow away the myth that only a five digit horn is a great horn. Grab this one and enjoy the true greatness of the marque. Original lacquer. And a look that displays a lifetime of playing music; lots and lots of music. We have a theory around here that fifty-year old horns which remain pristine and"mint" in their original lacquer do so for a reason. Of course it could be merely circumstance which relegated to the horn to life in a closet, or, it could be just possibly that no one wanted to play it. The Sax is pretty much in its original condition with not much si gns of being pla yed much at all. It has a b eautiful en gravin g of a n Elk.
