The pair measure about 4.5 inches. See all photos, and let me know if you need more. Six-sided vases; it always impresses me when the artist can wrap ... morethe design around sharp angles. Intricate design and lovely colors; there are a few repairs. The repairs look like they are made with original enamel, as they match really well. I photographed all sides to show the art of the repairs themselves. All in all a charming and unusual set.

Antique Meiji Period Japanese Bronze Figural Urn Vase Grape Leaves Vines Old This auction listing is for a Japanese Meiji period bronze vase. It is urn ... moreshaped. And footed. It has applied grapes, vines and leaves and appears organic in nature. There are overall spots of discoloration where the vase has oxidized, not unsightly, normal for age. It also has a very shallow dent under bottom of single applied leaf. You can see it in first picture. Other than these, no damage or repairs. The vase is substantial and heavy for its size, it measures 8 3/8" tall by app. 4 1/2" across widest part of body with a 2 1/8" diameter across opening. Some of the pictures make it look like it flairs out at the top a bit, it does so very slightly almost unnoticibly, its shape shows best in the first picture. Please contact me with any questions. Thank you. Certain images/photos incorporated into this template are the royalty free property of Mariannasm Creative Commons 3.o.

7" Round Bubble Cream Porcelain Japanes e Kutani Vase with C rackled S u rface Glaze Finish and Blue Red Gold Floral Design Up for auction is this ... moregorgeous Cream-C olored Kutani Japanese Porcelain Vase. It has a crackled surface with a thick clear glazed finish. The front of the vase has a red white and gold floral design flowing around a blue trunk and branches base. The maker's mark on the bottom indicates that this is a Kutani Japanese vase made in the 1960s. The guide in which I found the mark says that it is"Generic Kutani" Meaning that the actual manufacturer is unknown. The base color of the vase is a very light cream/off-white color. The vase has a hairline crack on the side starting in the middle of the vase and going up to the lip of the vase on the back right side, and a smaller hairline crack on the lip of the vase opposite the first crack on the front left of the vase(back right and front left are directions if you are looking at the front of the vase) The cracks are nearly impossible to see since this vase has a crackled surface. I have tried to take photos of both cracks so you can judge for yourself. I have also taken pictures of all sides of the vase so you can inspect it for details on design and condition. The vase looks amazing and will display well in any setting. Vase will be shipped with proper packaging to ensure safe delivery. If you have any questions. Please ask. Wonderfull Antique Japanese Imari Lidded Vase on Antique Wood and Plaster Stand
I am relisting my Imari Jar with cover. I withdrew it because the company listed below have just sold an identicall one only a lot smaller for $2,900, their one did not have a lid or a base. Their one was undamaged. But nowhere near as impressive as mine. So my new starting price has increased but is very low considering the piece. Also I had listed it as Chinese when in fact it is Japanese. If you look on jcollector. The internet name of Jtansu, you will see the jar. Mailing Address: Jtansu P.O. Box 879 Summerland. CA 93067 Toll Free Telephone: 888.991.9096 From Outside the US: 805.695.0334 Fax: 801.681.1179 Email: sales@jtansu.com Wonderfull Large Japanese Imari Jar with lid. On Antique wood and plaster scroll leg stand. It is obviously very old but I dont know the exact date, it is approx 1870. The approx size is. Height on stand: 2ft ... more5" or 73cms, height of stand: 9.5ins or 24.5cms. Width of vase at widest point is approx 1ft 1"or 34cm. The main Jar is lovely condition. The neck has been stapled with 6 staples and it appears a very clean repair which would restore I think quite easily. The lid has internal staple repair but they dont appear on the outside and look to be there for hairline repair. Overall a very Impresive Piece. I dont know if the base is for it but it looks very good on it. IT WILL HAVE TO BE FOR COLLECTION ONLY BECAUSE OF THE SIZE AND WEIGHT.

Vintage Mid-Century Modern Atomic Japanese Ikebana Vase
Th is is a vintage Japanese Ikebana vase. Very mid century modern and atomic in look. I have seen a couple like this sold on ebay in the past. Two exactly the same attributed to"Kimura Yokkaichi" with a sticker on it's base saying as much-one was black and the other was baby blue in color. I could no lon ger find examples online to finish research for this listing and mine having an"MCI Japan" sticker on the base was no help. Otherwise. This piece speaks very well for itself and certainly adds a little bit of Henry Moore to one's decorative mix. Condition: Very good. Free o f chips or cracks. Some surface scuffs but since taking the pics I have cleaned it up pretty well. Th at matte finish is very easy to mark. Measures: 9" long 6" tall 2" 1/4 wide Note: I do not send an invoice unless you request ... moreone. And I ship within 24hrs of payment. Thank you for looking!

Japanese Namikawa Style Cloisonne Enamel Vase
This is a vase that looks and feels much like a piece made by Namikawa Yasuyuki. The quality of this vase is very fine. But I believe it to have be made by Honda or Shibata(a student of Namikawa) The vase is very heavy and has thick glossy enamel. At 7 1/4 inches tall it is large for a vase of this style. Condition is very good but there is a slight flaw in the enamel that can be seen in the last image.

Japanese Jug/Vase Two-sided w/Hokusai Painting of "The Great Wave off Kanagawa"
This is a lovely old jug brought back from Asia in the 1950's. It has two different scenes- on the one side is a reproduction of"The Great ave off Kanagawa" from the woodcut of Hokusai. And the reverse side has a general scene of Mt. Fugi with a boat in the foreground. They appear to be hand painted, and have the artent signatures in Japanese on each. The third picture shows the original paper label(in Japanese) which is on the side, top. The cork has a pull ring. Be aware that the cork is starting to disintegrate. The jug is approximately 8" high x 7" by 1 1/2" Very unusual decorative piece. Be assured I will pack it with great care! Meiji Japanese Satsuma Vase - 10 inches high
Vase is very beautiful but has some small signs of wear- no chips. But scuffs and wear in the paint. We bought this because we both liked it, but then realized it does not fit the color scheme in our formal rooms very well. I have tried to take pictures from all 4 sides of the vase so you can see the quality of the design. And the small signs of wear. BANKO Antique Japanese Bud Vase, ca. 1850's
This auction is for an authentic BANKO Antique Japan Bud Vase. Ca. 1850's! It is in very fine condition and bears the incised mark for Banko pottery. It compares well with marks I found on the net. The cream color is right with the correct crackled glaze. There are no chips or cracks, and the gold accents are unworn, but a little dulled by time. The decoration depicts fruit and blossoms, perhaps pomegranate. The vase measures 8"H x 2-7/8"Diameter. I don't often see this type of Satsuma vase come up for sale. Shipping weight is 2-lbs. UPDATE! Some questions from viewers of this item sent me on another internet search and I found out more about this antique vase. It turns out that the only part of my original listing title. Satsuma, Meiji Period) that is correct is the identity of the mark. It is definitely Banko. It is not ... moreSatsuma and it appears that it is older than the 1890's. What made me think Satsuma is the fine crackle glaze and the gold accents but the Banko incised mark and the decoration place the date to circa 1850's or perhaps older. There are no damages at all to the vase. It looks to have been formed in a mold. At any rate, it's probably worth a lot more than I'm asking for it. Time to start downsizing. I will be listing a collection of antique Oriental items. Mostly porcelains, as well as other antiques, in the next few weeks and months. These have all been in our family for decades and generations. My mom and grand ma used to be the expert collectors. Bought most of them in post war Germany. I went antique hunting with my mom. But never got to learn the finer points, so please correct me if I should make any mistakes in my descriptions. I have no idea about the value of these items, so I start them low and let the market decide the price. Here I am offering a n antique Japanese vase. I think the style of painting is called Kutani. Signed on the bottom. Old repair on top with silver slev. Very well done(and must hav been very expensive) Size: 10 1/2" high. Condition: Looks great. But has old repair on top ... morewith the silver sleeve covering the porcelain repair plus one very light old stable hairline on bottom(see photo 8, only visible under magnification) Otherwise lovely antique condition.
