I have a nice reusable cast iron rim lock for your consideration. Could use a cleaning and lube with the removal of a single standard slot set screw. Driverod gear spring works latch. Marked RH Co. on box and 250 1/2 on the catch. There is no deadbolt key for the deadbolt slide however. Could be used without it with manual locking slide lever that engages and disengages locking latch. Rim lock box measuring 4 1/8 x 3 1/8 inches. It comes with its keep and 2 keys. The lock has a double turn dead bolt. Also included are a set of matching barley twist wrought iron handles complete with the square bar and pins. The lock has been painted black. Some of the paint is chipped. It has a brass plated escutcheon too. Dimensions: Lock size only without the keep. 12cm high. 7cm wide, 2cm width. The length of the handle's square shank bar is adjustable to all thicknesses of door. It may be necessary to drill extra holes in the bar so as to get the handles to fit the door. Welcome to my sale. On offer is a genuine reclaimed metal Legge reversible bolt door lock cica 1920's/30's. The lock has a brass plate and is in good workable condition- just needs a clean& oil. The plate measures 6 x 1 inch and the lock 4 x 21/2 inches and weighs 385 grams. There is one key. I always leave feedback. But only after feedback has been left for me upon safe receipt of goods.

Nice old cast iron rim lock with brown Victorian doorknobs and iron catch for your consideration. Nice heavy iron box measures 4 1/8 x 3 1/4 inches. Included are two doorknobs that I think are Bennington. They are scratched and scuffed from age and use. Although could be reused. One has a flanged neck with driverod for lockside of application. Cast iron rosette included for other side of door. Will need a keyhole cover or another cobination backplate. Locking lever for latch. Engages and disengages locking mechanism smoothly for latch. Drive gear spring feels strong for another lifetime. No deadbolt slide key although it would seem that all internal parts are there for when you find one or have one made. This is a vintage EAGLE LOCK Rim Night Latch. All us older folks remember these on the back door. Made sure it was locked at night. This one is unused and still in the original display box. Box is a bit beat. But it is all there. Includes all the parts and an instruction sheet, with the 2 keys. The color is like the gold in the first picture. Has a crackle finish. Instruction sheet is dated October, 1956, so this lock goes way back. Eagle lock is an old company out of Terryville, Connecticut. If you are looking for that original style for your back door. This is it.

I have a very nice cast iron deadbolt rim lock for your consideration. This lock looks gently used if at all. Very nice reusable condition with matching heavy duty catch. Box is heavy duty as well measuring 1 1/8 inches thick. This is a rarer rim lock which has only an oversized deadbolt slide. No latching mechanisms. It has an early brass flat key tumbler that looks almost new. I opened the box and everything looks intact but did not want to try and move deadbolt for fear of flat springs popping out and not knowing how to replace in proper position. I assume that when you find a key or have one made that it will work nicely from its condition and appearance. Once again. I have no key. An ornate vintage rim door lock made by B L W with keeper and keyhole escutcheon. we have another lock like this listed) The door lock is made of cast iron and is apr. 4 1/4 inches tall and apr. 3 1/2 inches wide or apr. 4 3/8 inches wide with the keeper. The keeper does not have an ornate design to it. The key hole escutcheon does have an ornate design and is apr. 1 X 1 7/8 inches and is made of cast iron. The lock appears to work the way it should. Comes with all original parts except a few of the screws are not original. The 7 longest. That I included, for the box installation and catch plate. This is a vintage Corbin Rim Night Latch key kit. This is an unused item in the original box. The lock is still wrapped in the original tissue paper. Has that great old black crackle finish. Everything is there. Including the installation instructions. Back in the day we all had these on the back door and we had to check them at night before we turned in. This was the official back door lock forever. That is going back a few years. If you are trying to get that vintage look again, this lock will work great for you. Check out the keys. These are the old Corbin design that look great. Back when keys had style. This lock goes back to the early 1960s. Easy to install on any back door.

Vintage Wiliiamsburg Brass Rim Door Lock & Skeleton Key Folger Adam Co
Up for auction I have a really neat vintage Williamsburg Brass Rim Door Lock by Folger Adam Co. It comes with two skeleton keys. The bright and shiny one works amazingly well and even though the other one matches and I found it with the lock. It does not work as well. Key slides in and lock works nicely. Has a marking seal on the side that is slightly worn. I found one like it so I could guesstimate what it was. This most likely is for a large door. The back paper info is old and worn. How old this piece is I'm not sure. It does have rust and age wear and discoloration to it. Its very cool though. It does also need a decent cleaning. Item is very heavy weighing over 3 pounds. Measures about 8" x 5" x 1" Super cool. The keys are also fantastic. If there is anything important I have left out please ask! Buyer pays shipping ... moreand handling. Vintage rim lock, reversible. Working Key, one original bakelite knob. Tyzack
A vintage rim lock with the Tyzak logo of the three Legs of Man. It is a reversible lock so can be left or right handed. It has its key and locks from both sides and both directions. It is painted green over the aluminium. There is only one coat of paint and this is flaking off. There is only one of the original bakelite handles. But the bar and screw for holding the missing handle are present. Suitable handles are readily available.

The plate is Bronze colored brass size is 5 1/4" long, 1 23/16" wide and 5/32" deep at knob area. They look like they are old. The sping is working in the lock. No lock plate. I have an old cast iron rim lock for your consideration. Box measures 4 x 3 1/8 inches. Springs feel decent for reuse where the gear drive engages and disengages latch slide. Lever for latch lock engages and disengages lock for latch. There is no key so you will have to use without deadbolt until you either have a key made or find one that works. Will need a good cleaning and lubrication for optimal use. Im including a keyhole cover. Driverod, and a rosette. Door knobs properly flanged on necks. Catch has a small chip on underneath side although will still work. Could be repaired by a welder reasonably easy and would not be seen on underneath side either way. I have an early pre civil war rim lock for your consideration. Large heavy cast iron measuring approx. 5 3/4 x 4 1/2 inches. Upon inspection appears to be functional and intact. Original knobs were not acquired with this so you will have to fabricate something on the drive neck which is on the box on both sides. One of the coil springs came off as I was inspecting for the latch privacy lock but I am pretty sure I replaced it properly. It is an unusual lock and I am unfamiliar to its design. It also appears to use a larger than normal skeleton key which I do not have for the deadbolt. You will have to find a key or have one made if you are going to want lock your premises while away. Nice privacy lock if you want to fabricate a flush strike plate or find a surface catch that will work. I have a very nice large cast iron deadbolt slide rim lock with matching catch for your consideration. Truly a hard to find large size where the box measures 7 x 4 1/2 inches. Manufactured by Norwalk Lock Works. Some old paint and minor surface rust will clean up nicely for reuse and a refinish if you wish. Upon inspection all the flat spring tumblers are in nice condition for reuse. There is no key so you will have to bring to a locksmith or find one that works. Large skeleton key operates deadbolt slide to lock premises while away. Privacy deadbolt slide engages and disengages nicely. Large ornate iron handle operates lift for latch smoothly. Flat knob on handle looks to be cast and peened brass. You will need to find or fabricate a large keyhole cover for opposite side of door. These were typically pressed steel rather than the later cast iron manufacture. So should be easy to fabricate something. Nice heavy lock box with catch. Period porcelain doorknobs, cast iron rosette, ornate keyhole cover and standard 1/4 inch drive rod. Lock box measures 4 1/4 x 3 1/4 inches. Knobs have appropriate flanging for door and box side of lock. Privacy latch lock lever engages and disengages lock for latch. I do not have a key for the deadbolt slide so you will either have to find a key that works or have one made to lock your room while away. Still quite a bit of original paint.
