Old cylinder rim night latch. Knob on latch marked FRAIM. Lock cylinder and 3 original keys, and 5 screws.Working condition, I would guess this to be for a door about 2" thick. Latch measures 2.5 x 3.5. Original paint worn, 4x2.5 lock with knob 2.25x2 for the latch holder This appear to be made of copper or brass, with a black brown worn finish. All of the 3 keys have the same serial number stamped into them along with Fraim. Non smoking home

I have a nice old reusable cast iron rim lock for your consideration. Could use a cleaning and lube with the removal of a single standard slot set screw. Driverod gear spring is strong and works latch. Locking lever for drive gear latch engages and disengages nicely. There is no skeleton key for deadbolt slide so you will have to use without it until one is either found or made. This is a heavier good quality box measuring 3 1/8 x 3 3/4 inches. Pair of early red clay black glazed doorknobs. A 1/4 inch driverod, cast iron rosette, cast iron keyhole trim cover for obverse side of lock, catch and some set screws for knobs are included. Inside will need cleaning. The latch and lock are functional. Y& T is embossed in the box inside a circle with a 3 leaf clover. One side has been painted over while the other side has the original black paint.

Included are a pair of period red clay black glazed doorknobs that are in good condition where collars are tight for reuse and should clean up some. Scuffing and dings consistent with their age. Doorknob rosette, keyhole cover, and standard 1/4 inch drive rod. Box measures approx. 3 x 4 inches and is in good condition with no cracks or breaks. Appears to be nicely intact upon inspection and is a reversible latch slide simply by opening box with a single screw and flipping the latch slide. Will need a key to lock room while away since original keys flat is broken off, so, will have to find one that fits or have one made if you want to lock room while away. The end hook is present but whatever was there originally, is missing and was going to add a decorative old piece of wood or old handle. Mechanism works very good.
