Nice old cast iron rim lock with brown Victorian doorknobs and iron catch for your consideration. Nice heavy iron box measures 4 1/8 x 3 1/4 inches. Included are two doorknobs that I think are Bennington. They are scratched and scuffed from age and use. Although could be reused. One has a flanged neck with driverod for lockside of application. Penn Antique Restoration. Vintage Distressed"Stanley" Steel Spring-Loaded Flushbolt. Heavy-duty. Vintage, spring-loaded door flushbolt made by, Stanley Works, of New Britain, CT sometime during the first half of the 20th century. The bolt comes with a 24" long pull-chain, and 1 surface-mount catch/keeper. All parts are made of steel. If you are not familiar with this type of hardware. I t's the locking mechanism installed on one of the doors in a pair of double doors. For the purpose of keeping one door stationary, while allowing the other to swing freely. We salvaged the bolt from Southwestern Pennsylvania. At the point of salvage. The parts were dirty and rusty(see last photo) Much time was spent thoroughly cleaning them in attempt them to bring them back to their original splendor.
