Antique TAME& NAKAMURA Kutani Nippon Hand Painted Teapot w 4 Cup/Saucer Set Up for sale is a gorgeous antique Japanese"NIPPON TN" hand painted teapot. Chocolate or coffee pot with 4 cups and 5 saucers. TN = Tame& Nakamura which I understand is a Kutani maker. The marked is green laurel leaves which, if my research is correct, is approx. 1920s-1940s. The pieces all have matching scenes with Mt. Fuji in the background. There a pagoda, women walking, an arch gate and blossoming trees. The pink flowers on the pieces have raised(satsuma) white dots. The teapot is approx. 8.5" tall to the top of the curled flower petal lid knob. The bottom is approx. 5.25" in diameter. The lid has little flying birds and the top rim of the pot is decorated with flowers. The 4 cups are nearly 3" tall and 2.5" in diameter at ... morethe lip. Just one cup as a 3/4 faint crack that comes down from the lip-it's still very usable. There are 5 saucers(an extra one) pictured in the photo but only 4 are included in this sale-4 cups and 4 saucers. They are approx. 4.75" in diameter. One saucer has a little chip on the underneath side of the lip. It's not visible from the painted side. I purchased this set at an estate auction. Again, it's a lovely set. Please note that my shipping time is up to 5 business days as I have multiple jobs and can only ship one day a week. If you happen to purchase after I return from the post office on shipping day it will be a full week wait until I am able to ship again. Hand Painted Oriental Design w/ Peacock Cup and Saucer Delicate Thin
Welcome to my Auction! You are bidding on a hand painted cup and saucer with an oriental design that includes a peacock. The painted on accent color is a rusty red.The china is very delicate and the cup is translucent in areas when held up to the light. The handle has a bamboo shape to it. There is no m arking on the bottom of the cup. But there is a mark on the bottom of the saucer that I am not familiar with(see picture) There are no chips cracks or repairs, but the saucer is very rough with bubbles in the glaze, and both pieces seem to have"extra" bits of that reddish-orange paint. Up for auction is a Scarce and very hard to find Antique Haviland Limoges Feu de Four porcelain plate in"Water Lily" pattern. Signed by artist A. Armond. This plate was made by Haviland and Co. Limoges, France in 1893-1895. Plate measures. 8-5/8" or approx. 22cm in diameter. It is edged with a double gold band on the front. Also a gold rim on the back side of the plate. On the back the plate reads: Haviland France Limoges"Feu de Four" The"Feu de Four" mark would indicate that this plate was double fired during the decorating process- an expensive technique that Haviland only used for a short time it was very expensive. Antique 18th century cup(no handle) and saucer. Hand-painted silver luster pattern. The sticker that is on it was on it when I purchased it. Perhaps Bristol is the pattern and 1790 is the exact date, but in researching I can't verify this. Please look at the pictures closely as there is roughness and wear evident especially around the rim of the cup and the rim of the saucer(the saucer may have a very small hairline but it may also just be the glaze, I can see it on the outside of the saucer but not the inside) Some crazing also evident. The saucers are approximately 3.75 inches long, and just under 3 inches wide. The teapot is just under 5.25 inches tall, and is just over 7.25 inches from handle to spout. The creamer is just over 2.5 inches tall. The lidded sugar is just under 4.5 inches tall. CONDITION: The set is in very good condition. Staffordshire Handless Cup& Saucer c. early 1800's For your consideration is a London Shape Handless Cup& Saucer. Very light and feels like soft paste. Deep well saucer is 5 3/4" diameter. And the cup is just over 2 1/4" high, 3 3/4" diameter at opening. Pretty red& green hand painted florals with miniature version on inside floor of cup and central saucer. In excellent antique condition. With no chips or flakes to rim, no cracks or repairs. There is all over pretty tiny and faint crazing. Both foot rims are rough to touch with minor flaking due to standing on rough surface. Don't hesitate to contact me with questions.
