The saucer measures 5 1/2" 14 cm) in diameter and is 1" 2.5 cm) high(or deep) The cup measures 3 1/4" 8.3 cm) in diameter at the mouth and is 2 3/4" 7 cm) in height. The cup has the early"Bute" shape. Which was used in the late 18th and early 19th Centurys.There is no transfer on the set. It is all hand-painted with highly raised enamels. All the scenes can be felt with your finger, but the pearlized white color is especially raised. Both pieces have an Apple green border with a dark green Greek key design on the rim. And each piece portrays four ducks, a pond, water lilies, rushes, peonies and a Dogwood tree. The porcelain is very thin and light and light shines through it easily, and you can hear a very clear"ring" when it is"pinged" The handle is in the shape of the numeral"9" ... moreor of a circle with a tail. Worchester, as well as a few other companies in England used this same shape in the very early 19th century. It is a very beautiful, and well crafted set. KPM Teacup and spoon. Blue septor mark. 1840-1895. Some of the gold gilding has worn off see photographs. No chips. It measures 4 inches across and 3/25 inches tall. the spoon is 4.5 inches long. I combine shipping when possible. Most of my items are from estate sales so I can not sayy 100 perecent that they were not used. This really cool Vintage Hand Painted Snack Set came from Grandmother's estate. The set feature a tea cup and large snack plate or saucer. It features hand painted yellow flowers similar to forsythia and gold painted flowers as well. My grandmother had collected cups and saucers her entire life and this set had been sitting in an old corner cupboard in the kitchen. This set is in excellent condition overall. There are no cracks or chips to either piece. Both pieces have the original red clover inside a red wreath with Japan underneath.
