Rare Porcelain 10 piece Van Trading Scalloped Cup and large saucer plate set
This unique Rare Collectible Vintage Tea and large saucer plate/snack plate 10 piece set is made by Van Trading from a private collection. The footed cups are 3 1/2" tall and the saucer plates are 4 3/4" x 6 1/2" The gold painted through the design certainly enhances these pieces. The rims are also gold enhanced. The pieces have a light gray background with darker gray swirls throughout as shown in my pictures. One cup has a chip and a few very small nicks. On two of the saucers there is a slight worn area in the painted orange design. Some of the gold is slightly worn due to age. I accept International Buyers. This is a vintage Carlton Ware Leaf shaped dish/trinket dish. The color is a creamy white and it is enhanced with gold gilt on the stem. Top edge of the plate and in the veins of the leaves. The plate is stamped on the back Carlton Ware Made in England"Trade Mark" and it has a tiny little gold bird under the logo. The plate is embossed/stamped on the back 2367/5. This plate is in excellent condition, no chips, cracks or crazing. This plate would look nice in room, the color will blend with any decor. The Opaline glass is hand painted in gold, with'Remember Me' framed with curving leaves or branches, with a bow beneath, and a small leaf tip on either side(photos#2& 3) The problem is a tight hairline that runs the length of one side(photos#6& 7) In the last photo of the interior, we note a wee chip, about a third of the way down, and just left of center, perhaps the start of it all. There is also a tight hairline at the base of the handle where attached to the body, most likely from manufacture. The handle is very secure. We're sure if this lovely could speak, it would have a tale or two to tell. Despite it's shortcomings, it is a sweet survivor looking for a new home. Estimating

Rare Vintage 70's Thomas Rosenthal Germany Porcelain Tea Set W/ 6 Cups Stunning!
This is one of the more beautiful that I have seen recently. Set includes tea pot with lid and small tray. 6 cups, and six saucers. There are no chips or niks or breaks or scratches. it is in mint condition. Color is a very vivid green. And each cup Stands about 3 inches high and is about 3 inches in diameter. Saucer is approximately 6 inches in diameter and teapot including lid is approximately 8 inches tall and 8 inches wide including spout and handle. Chairman made. If you are Teavana fan, you'll love this vintage collection. Unusual for its age this teapot is in absolutely perfect condition. In fact it's an unusual piece in that the lid actually goes over the pot instead of fits inside and it is a flammfest pot in that it is flame resistant and flameproof so you can warm it on the stove. You can see all sides of this pot in the pictures. This coffee pot is in very good shape with no chips or cracks. A small percentage of the gold is lost. But the vast majority is still there. You can see all this in the pictures. It is very clean inside and out except for a couple of small brown/yellow spot that are on the top part. One is at the end of the handle were it meets the pot and the other is across from it on the top part where the lid sits. This is shown in the last picture. This last spot is not seen when the lid covers the pot. The pot measures about 7 1/2” high without the lid and is about 8 3/4” high with the lid. It takes over 5 cups. It is made in England. This is a stunning hand painted vintage tea cup and saucer from Lefton China featuring pink roses on an all black saucer and a black& white cup. Gold is applied to the rims and cup handle. This set originally belonged to my mother and was ONLY used for display. It is in EXCELLENT condition with NO chips. Nicks or cracks and the inside of the cup is a beautiful stain free white. The cup measures 2-3/4" inches tall x 2-7/8" in diameter across the top and the saucer measures 5-7/8" inches in diameter. The gold Lefton china marking appears on the bottom of each piece.
