This map was purchased as surplus from a local university. The large white marks are just reflections from my poor lighting. These maps measures about 70" across and is about 52" tall. This auction is for a 1928 1929& 1931(dates I found on the map) 6' x 3' 7-1/2" Antique Denoyer Geppert Wall Map that is still in nice condition for the age. It has two maps on it that are labeled H15 Napoleon and H16 Europe 1815. There aren’t any rips or tears on the map. Just some wear on the vinyl at the bottom where it touched and stuck to the adjoining map’s wood handle when it was originally in the wooden wall case. The color looks great since the map was always rolled up but there is some discoloration at the bottom of the map. 1928 1929 Denoyer Geppert H12 H13 Harding European School Wall Map
This auction is for a 1928 1929 6' x 3' 7-1/2" Antique Denoyer Geppert Wall Map that is still in nice condition for the age. It has two maps on it that are labeled H12 Europe 1648 and H13 Europe 1740. There aren’t any rips or tears on the map. Just some wear on the vinyl at the bottom where it touched and stuck to the adjoining map’s wood handle when it was originally in the wooden wall case. The color looks great since the map was always rolled up but there is some discoloration at the bottom of the map. This auction is for a 1930 6' x 3' 7-1/2" Antique Denoyer Geppert Wall Map that is still in nice condition for the age. It has two maps on it that are labeled H11 Tudor and Stuart England and H14 Discoveries and Colonization. There aren’t any rips or tears on the map. Just some wear on the vinyl at the bottom where it touched and stuck to the adjoining map’s wood handle when it was originally in the wooden wall case. The color looks great since the map was always rolled up but there is some discoloration at the bottom of the map. At the bottom of the map the vinyl is peeled back a little but could easily be glued back. Not dated, but the population figures are from the 1920 Census, so it was made sometime during the 1920s. Railroad and trolley lines are shown. The map is complete and intact with wooden rods both at the top and bottom. The top rod still has the original string to hang it on a wall. It really displays very nicely. It's been stored for decades ... morerolled up, so it will need a little time to"stretch out" All items are guaranteed genuine& vintage, no reproductions. The surface of this map measures about 5 2" across and is about 7 2" tall. It also includes the built in mounting bracket/rail so it's ready to install. These make great decorative pieces or can be used for home schoolers or for other educational services.
