Vintage original 1951 US Geological Survey Topographic Topo map Willet, N.Y.
Up for your consideration is one from a stack of vintage maps found at our old hunting cabin. This one depicts the Willet Quadrangle. New York. Towns and areas of interest shown on the map include: Willet, Hazzard Corners, Texas Valley, and Upper Lisle. This is a map printed in 1951 from the surveys completed in 1944 and 1949. not a new reprint made from a map printed in 1951, and as such, it had folds, discolorations, stains, creases, worn edges, musty smell, writing on the back, and occasionally may have small holes at the center of the main folds. These maps were used by hunters in the 50's and 60's and acquired at sporting goods stores for that purpose. This authentic map measures about 22" by 27" and would look great framed and hung in the"man cave" trophy room, or office of your favorite New York state hunter ... moreor hiker or Willet-area, New York-er.
