Here is a fabulous antique Uzbek Suzani made of 8 panels stitched together! This is an early example with nicely drawn and well spaced design. All colors are natural and incude yellow and apricot. Several shades of blue and green and red and magenta, etc. basically full color spectrum of silks! Very minor fraying and light stains. HUGE ANIMAL ANTIQUE EQUINE DENTAL MOLAR FORCEP ZOO? This is an unusually large antique dental forcep. Even larger than an equine dental forcep, and possibly made for a larger zoo animal. Equine molar forceps are usually 17" 20" in length but this one measures 24" in length and weighs 8-1/2 lbs. The inner open distance between the jaws is approximately 3/4" when the handles are closed. These forceps are not marked as far as I can tell. There is some surface corrosion but there are no cracks. Bends, chips, etc. and they appear to be capable of many more years of use. The serrations inside the jaws are still intact. Uncommonly large dripware or drip-glazed pottery pitcher from Old Oaxaca. Mexico. This is one of the largest drip-glazed pieces I've seen. And also in the most superb of condition. It dates back to at least the 1940s. And possibly the 1930s. It has a magnificent. Lustrous, patina; in shades of seafoam/aquamarine, daffodil yellow& orange, cobalt, and deep plum/chocolate. The condition is nearly perfection itself; other than a small amount of fine crazing. I can find absolutely no damage or wear, and only a couple of tiny artist's flaws. It truly appears as if it has been packed away safely in storage for the last 80 years. If you are familiar with this age and style of pottery. You will so appreciate its condition. Quite large. And unusually so: nearly 11" in height, 23" in circumference, and 7.5" in diameter. It ... moreis of a solid. Substantial heft, unlike some old dripware; that is likely part of what has kept it so intact for so long.
