I bought this from a Bournemouth bookseller in the summer of 1964 and had it framed a week later in Bath. At the picture framer shown on the label at the back. Price: Copies of this map have been selling at prices up to £3000 or more. But this one is realistically priced to allow for the present relatively weak antiquarian map market. Title: Britannia prout divisa fuit temporibus Anglo-Saxonum praesertim durante illorum Heptarchia. Jan Blaeu. Amsterdam, 1645. 49 × 58.4cm. Mounted on board in glass& gilt/black frame.
