A) because they were a different size than the others. Now Bob isn't in all the shots. But you'll see him in some of the last images below. Not sure what part of England the guys are stationed in.but Bob looks to have been ... moresome sort of mechanic. Some fun shots in here. One is obviously taken from a bomber aircraft's turret. While another shows men lined up for a meal or washing up. Some images help to show what part of Britain the soldiers were stationed, while the final shot looks like maybe that's Bob's wife& baby back at home in America. I took simple photos of the negs against a light table and reversed them with basic software so you can see what you'll be getting. Some of the curvature of the images you'll see was caused by me. Free Shipping on Purchases of 5 or More Maps and Prints Description: It is an original antique copper engraved map on paper approximately 179 years old. It is drawn by R. Creighton and engraved by J.C. Walker as stated in small print in the bottom margin. It is from Samuel Lewis' Topographical Dictionary of England. Also stated in the bottom margin. Published in London by Lewis& Co. 1831, a copy fo the volume IV title page is included. Overall a very nice map in great condition that would frame up nicely, printed on heavy paper with the copper plate marks embossed around the margins and blank on the reverse with a horizontal and three vertical folds as issued. The map is not matted nor framed, being sold as a single individual sheet ... moreas shown in the pic. Size: The map image area measures 15 by 18 1/2 inches on a 16 1/2 by 22" page with a wide margin all around. Condition: The map is in Good condition for its age. Blank on the reverse, in its original uncolored state as issued, basically as seen in the pic. There have been some repairs made on the reverse with Japanese paper reinforcing tears at the ends of the folds, the longest about four inches and a couple of short edge tears. There is some light browning as seen in thepics and backprinting, otherwise it is fairly clean in general. The paper is an off white buff color of heavy quality. See the pic for more on condition.
