Old Original Alamo Empire Rock Island Hit Miss Gas Engine Muffler Steam Tractor
This is a super original cast iron muffler for an Alamo. Empire, Rock Island, Cockshutt, or other hit and miss gas engine. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. It measures about 7 3/4 inches in diameter and about 4 1/4 inches"thick" It has 1 1/4 inch pipe threads. The part numbers are 4074 and 4075. The only flaw that I've noticed is two of the rivets holding the halves together are loose. These could easily be peened a bit and tighten right up. These original mufflers are very hard to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you've been looking for one to complete your authentic restoration, here's your chance. Dated to 102x AH = regnal year 15 = 1619/1620. Excellent large coin, very attractive, thick and heavy. Much nicer than the scan. 19mm, 10.7 grams. Qandahar mint. KM 142.2. Scarce type. Nuruddin Jahangir(August 31. 1569- 1628) was the ruler of the Mughal Empire from 1605 until 1628. He signed a treaty with the British East India Company promising their merchants preferential treatment, opening India to Britain for the first time. He is also the person known to history as Shehzada Saleem of Anarkali fame. Personal nickname was Shaikhoo. The Mughal Dynasty is a line of Muslim emperors who reigned in India from 1526 to 1858. This sideboard has a cellarette drawer and fitted interior for wine and decanter bottles on the sides, cabinets below and large storage drawers at the center.All the drawers are exquisitely hand dovetailed and retain their original brass Lion Head pulls and all the locks are intact. There are 2 keys with this fine piece and all the locks work except the bottom cabinet on each side. The drawers and door fronts are all executed in gorgeous flamed mahogany encased with petite moldings. It gongs on a small wire spring. Every half-hour and on the hour, and sounds very mellow and pleasant to listen to, guaranteed not to wake you up at night as long as you don’t hold megaphones to your ears as you sleep, or are some kind of bat. I’ve inspected it very closely. I can’t find any damage, except the marble base, there might be two very small chips, but they’re so small that even when I look closely I’m not entirely sure that they’re there. This clock has been run for more than six months. And keeps good time and runs strongly. It’s quite heavy for its size. Almost 22 pounds. On the top. Gupta/Hardaker ISPC series IV XXXI G 2(418) Mitchiner ACW- The Nanda Empire originated from the kingdom of Magadha in Ancient India during the 5th and 4th centuries BC. At its greatest extent. The Nandas extended from Bengal in the east, Punjab in the west and as far south as the Vindhya Range. Mahapadma Nanda has been described as the destroyer of all the Kshatriyas. He defeated the Panchalas, Kasis, Haihayas, Kalingas, Asmakas, Kurus, Maithilas, Surasenas, Vitihotras, etc. He expanded his territory till south of Deccan. Mahapadma Nanda died at the age of 88 and, therefore, he ruled the bulk of the period of this dynasty, which lasted 100 years. The Nandas who usurped the throne of the Shishunaga dynasty were of low origin. Some sources ... morestate that the founder, Mahapadma, was the son of a Shudra mother, others that he was born of a union of a barber with a courtesan. The last of the Nandas was Dhana Nanda(called Xandrames or Aggrammes in ancient Greek and Latin sources) Dhana Nanda was dethroned after he was defeated by Chandragupta Maurya, a young adventurer born of a Nanda prince and a maid named"Mura" He had a great potential to rule. Dhana Nanda was murdered which finally signaled the advent of the Maurya Empire in 321 BC. w30316)
