From Upton Road and Cromwell Street westward along the Bath Road and Staines Road, and northward up Workhouse Lane as far as Sutton Farm. Features on the map include St Paul's church, Wellington Road North, Beavers Lane and Beavers Farm, and part of Hounslow Heath. The main feature, however, is Hounslow Barracks, where the engineer Goldsworthy Gurney demonstrated his steam carriage to the Duke of Wellington. Cavalry barracks were established here, midway between London and Windsor, in 1793 and they were expanded in the 1870s. Japan and part of the(possibly a portable travel) Doc's equipment stashed and forgotten in storage, the Tsunami a few years ago brought these items out from the storage and then was brought in here to Hawaii. Retro Mid-Century Pair of Sea Horse Wall Hangings/Bath Decor/Green
Sea Horse Wall Hangings This is a pair of whimsical sea horse wall hangings from the 1960s. They are made of Lucite. But are painted over with a green color. I'm not sure if this is how they were originally sold. Or if a former owner had painted them. In any case. The paint looks like a professional job. The larger one measures approx. 11.5" x 5" The smaller one measures approx. 8" x 3.5" There is one spot on the smaller one's middle fin where the green paint has worn off. And there you can see the clear Lucite beneath-perhaps with some shiny speckles in it. They both have a built-in wire hanger on their backs. The edges of these are rough, with tiny chips all along it on the backside. But that seems to be part of the manufacturing process. Just now, upon inspecting these for sale. BUCHI BRINKMANN ROTAVAPOR R 110 w/Heated Bath
Up for auction is this used Rotavapor made by Brinkmann Buchi model R 110. Rotor motor has nice working variable speed dial and has a very nice glass joint. Top part of the glass stem has a very small chip. I could barely get it to show up on the pic. Heated bath has a good working thermostat and you can see in the pics I illustrated the deposits/stains and flaking paint but it isn't that bad. Very little calcium deposits inside the bath too. The manual leveling rod is hard to adjust but I'm not sure if I am using it right. Not many on ebay with all this included in one auction. This is a large package. Up for Sale is a Buchi Rotovapor R-205 Rotovap Rotary Evaporator with B-490 Heating Water Bath! This Rotavap set is in very nice physical condition. It shows little signs of use. The only thing I noticed that is worth pointing out is that there is a ~1" spot inside the bottom of the bath where the Teflon-like coating has peeled off. Please see pictures for more details on this. It has been tested to be in great working order. As you can see in the pictures. There are two pieces of glassware included.
