Height to the front portion measures 38 inches, with a total width of 58 inches, and total depth of 26 inches and this solid mahogany piece weighs approximately 200 lbs. The top mirror portion does lift off to allow for easier moving and shipping. We believe the mirror to also be original and measures 51 1/4 inches wide by 9 inches high and does show some cloudiness and mild streaking as age appropriate. This beautiful Empire sideboard offers a large display shelf at the top with lovely full S scroll arm supports that rests on the fine solid mahogany top.With the wonderful original mirror at the back. We believe this piece to have its original finish and original casters intact on the base. the old original finish does show age appropriate wear here and there All the locks are intact but the key only works the three drawers.Substantial full S scroll columns adorn the sides of base with scroll front feet. Walnut I think. No breaks or repairs to the legs Some cosmetic light surface scratches to the sides of rectangular top in spots. The top has a pretty veneer top that has 2 inlaid lines& nice diagonal light& dark walnut bands. The veneer top. Sadly…has an area of missing veneer on the top right corner(see pic) When I purchased this piece at the estate sale. They had it displayed with a old lace runner on the top– you never could even tell there’s a flaw on the veneer top of you use a runner! I have not altered this piece in any way– but I did use some orange oil polish on the wood to bring back a bit of the luster that was lost in a layer of dust(professional antique furniture care product used) This table needs to be tightened up a bit.
