Antique/Vintage Brass Gilt Photo Frame w/ Burgundy Velvet - 1920 Photo RP
For your consideration is a beautiful brass gilt frame c Early 20th century. The field is burgundy velvet and inside the frame is the original field of a very pale pink satin. The glass appears original and has some tiny chipping around the edges(which are only visible when you remove the glass) Gold leaves appear to hold the circle inside of the frame. Four brass pins keep the photo and frame intact.There is some pitting to the frame(refer to photos)The back of the frame has worn gold velvet and the easel is in good working order. The photo reprint is of a gorgeous. Serious woman, c1920 or earlier(1910? The frame measures 5" X 4" and can accommodate a 3" X 4"photo.
