Antiqued cove molded pine wood carved picture painting frame 20 x 24 rabbet EUC
Nice antiqued pine wood picture frame will accomodate a painting or print that measures 20 x 24" The rabbet is approximately 1/4" deep and wide. The actual frame is 28 3/4 x 24 3/4" a full 4 3/4" wide. It has three separate carved edges with cove molding in between. The frame is all one piece and is nailed at the top of each mitred joint. The carved surfaces may be applied strips of molding. It is hard to see beyond the gold(not gold leaf) or bronze finish. On the back there is an inscription: Happy Birthday. Love Martha and is dated 1993. The frame quality suggests an earlier date. At any rate it is a lovely piece, mellow and subtle with the wood color dominating and the gold just creating a quiet gleam. Great frame for your watercolor, print or perhaps even oil on board or paper. Since it is made of pine or another similar ... morelight weight wood, shipping will not be astronomical! This is a large Victorian oak and gold wood frame. Measuring approx. 24 1/2" tall. 20 1/4" wide. The frame is a beautiful aged oak gold frame with leaves and fancy designs. And looks like thinly applied gesso and paint. The color of the frame is a goldish/beige color, and has some dark wood( brown) showing in areas. The Insert for your art is 20 x 24 ins.The entire frame measures 28 1/2 x 32 1/2 ins. The inner rabbet is about 1/2 ins. approx. It has a inner linen matting. Antique VICTORIAN Baroque Large Compo & Wood Picture Frame 20 1/4 x 24 1/2 c1860
Here is a stunning very large and heavy antique carved picture frame. Circa late 1860s time period. It originally had an old portrait inside, that was sold before I purchased it. The frame is made of carved wood and compo( composition) or Americans call it gesso decorations.It appears to have been gilded, the color is a dark burnished gold and is almost all original. It has a lemon gold liner molding and worn faded red velvet on the innermost slip piece molding. The entire frame measures 32 x 36 1/2 ins. The inner rabbet is 20 1/4 x 24 1/2 ins. The molding, counting the red velvet slip molding is a little over 6 ins. wide. The elaborate composition decorations are swirls, acanthus leaves, and inner pearling or beading. It has some chips off the top right, bottom right, and only a few more. Not too bad for age and size at all. One of the inner ... morebeads, top right is broken off, and painted over. I only see some very minor mild touch-ups, hardly any. I would say is it 99% original finish. The back has some interesting corner wood braces added. Which look original. I see no makers mark or stamp. The frame is more beautiful in person, I feel my pictures do not do it justice. I would date this to the late 1860-70s time period.Perfect for another old portrait. I would say that the frame is in good shape overall, given its apparent age, though it would benefit from a thorough cleaning. It measures 26 3/4 x 30 3/4 ins. in total size, and the insert rabbet for your art or mirror is 20 x 24 ins. The molding is about 4 ins. wide and it is a deep well with painted black ebonized lines on the surround. The frame is in FAIR as is antique condition, with some minor scrapes, scratches, some inner gilt gesso chipped off the slip liner, some black ebonized lines wearing away, and some miter corner separations, slight chip of wood off back right corner, unseen from front. It is fairly sturdy,and a good heavier frame. Please be aware this frame is approx. 1t is about 150+ years old. So will not be perfect like a new repro one. VINTAGE MID CENTURY MODERN CARVED EMBOSSED WOOD FRAME 20 X 24 BOHEMIAN
Are you looking for a some what funky mid century bold statement maker. Then keep reading this has a wire brushed wood frame with pie crust like embossing and an inner slip band of green velvet and inner molding of gold leaf, yes i can see it real gold leaf. Such a great bohemian mid century feel! It is a large frame measuring 31 3/4 by 28 inches overall. The frame is 4 1/2 inches wide. It was made in the 1960's in Taiwan and it is groovy! Taiwan made cool stuff in the 60's.Thanks for looking! There is also a little spot of brown to the left in the slip band and a little separation in one corner to slip band. this is old i am sure it has patina but no chips or cracks or unsightliness.

Vintage Mid Century Modern Modernist Textured Frame 20 X 24 Opening
This is a great looking vintage mid century modern modernist textured beige frame. It dates circa 1940s or 1950s. Overall it measures 24 3/4 inches x 28 3/4 inches(62.9 cm x 73 cm) The back opening size is 20 1/4 inches x 24 1/4 inches(51.4 cm x 61.6 cm) The molding width measures 2 1/2 inches(6.4 cm) The textured lines on this frame give it a great dimensional look. The frame has two small water stains at the end of one long piece of molding and four small water stains on the site edge of that same piece of molding on the other end(please see photos) There is some light thin wear at the end of one of the short pieces of molding. But it tends to just blend in(please see photos) There is no glass It weighs 4 lbs. 1 1/2 oz. 1.856 kg) It has what I always look for in frames. That wonderful old world look!

Here is a nice vintage Mid-Century picture frame. Made of wood and a compo/gesso overlay of flowers and other decorations.It measures 24 1/4 x 29 ins. in total size, and 20 1/8 x 24 1/8 insert rabbet size. The frame is painted a beige/taupe color. It is in fair as is vintage condition iwth a few chips of the compo/gesso decoration off of it, some corner dings, but all in all not too bad. It is still sturdy. This used to house a 1950s painting, so it is an authentic Mid_century period picture frame. Perfect for Mid-Century. Modern, and 1950-60s decors. Any questions.
