The hinged triple frame rests on four ball feet. The sections are hinged together. The frame is 11 1/2 inches high and 18 inches wide. The center photo size is 9 1/8 inches high and 7 1/4 inches wide. The photo size of the two side panels is 7 1/2 inches high and 4 3/8 inches wide. Each frame contains the original beveled glass. Offered is a vintage ornate ormolu gilt metal. Glass and velvet frame. I call it"a frame within a frame" because the outermost dimensions are approx. 5-3/4" high x 5" wide; however. A photo is supposed to be placed under the convex glass oval section only- and the oval measures approx. 3-1/4" high x 2-1/2" wide at its widest part. The frame weighs about 6-1/2 oz. It may be gilt covered brass but I can't say for sure. Condition: The original blue velvet on the front is intact; it has faded with age which adds to its charm. The oval convex shaped glass is without scratches. The back of the picture frame is tan velvet which shows age; the metal clips are still present which holds the back in place. Fantastic Vintage French Gilt Brass Silk and Ormolu Picture Frame Large 10x13
Up for Buy it Now is this absolutely fantastic vintage French gilt brass frame that has an overall measurement of 15 by 18 inches with the sight size measuring 10 by 13 inches. The frame is made of gilt brass or bronze and has separately cast and applied leaves and fruit. The interior lining or matte is made of white silk with a gilt ormolu liner. Aside from someone adding a strip of wood to the easel back for stability the frame is in overall excellent condition. There are two eyelets on the back of the frame so it can be hung from a wall.

Antique LARGE French Gilt Brass Metal Ormolu Easel Photo Frame
This antique brass-plated metal photo frame has such a gorgeous detailed design of daisies. Roses, and swags-please view the closeups and use zoom feature to see the fine detail. It has wear and patina, but is structurally sound, with no significant scratches. It does have tarnish and some verdigris here and there, which only adds to its chic and shabby appeal! As shown. There is very old cloth tape residue on the bottom-I presume this would have been to protect a tabletop, as there is no need for the tape otherwise since the metal has no significant separation and no breaks anywhere. This measures approximately 8&1/4" tall(at corners) x 6&3/4" and the frame opening measures approximately 7&1/8" x 6&1/8" There are no maker's markings. But someone has discreetly scratched tiny initials(perhaps the intended ... moreinheritor's? into the metal in two places on the back. Offered for auction is an antique French ormolu photograph frame. The bright gilt brass frame is square and has a decorative top piece. The pale salmon colored moire silk is original and is in good condition. The silk is adorned with six brass pieces. Four round garlands and two torches. The back is the original leather grained paper. The brown velvet easel appears to be a replacement. There are a couple of spots of damage on the back paper. The frame is 9 7/8 inches high and 8 1/2 inches wide. The photo size is 4 1/2 inches in diameter. The original glass covers the silk.

Very Vintage or Antique Aged Brass Gilt Bronze Effect French Ormolu Style Bow Ph
This charming ormolu-style metal(brass-plated tin? photo frame was sold from a department store in Baltimore. Maryland, and judging by the price sticker on the back, it dates to the very early twentieth century. It measures approximately 4&1/2" x 3&3/4" not including the bow accent at top. It has lovely fine details and the ormolu-style decoration at top is still firmly welded to the frame. The cardboard backing is missing its easel. But retains the original metal ring hook that enables the frame to hang flat and securely on a wall. The frame holds a very old print of the painting Light of the World by Charles Bosseron Chambers. The print is faded and worn and has a water stain at bottom edge, but I think it suits the frame, so I have not removed it. The frame is in good condition. This is a beautiful antique French gold gilt ormolu bronze double standing picture frame. It dates from the very late 19th to the very early 20th century. Circa 1900. When open. It measures 15 3/8 inches wide(39 cm) It is 10 1/8 inches tall with the balls and 9 5/8 inches tall without them(25.7 cm, 24.5 cm) The back opening size of each is 7 1/2 inches x 9 1/2 inches(19 cm x 24 cm) The frame molding is 1/2 inch wide(1.3 cm) I'm calling this frame French as it has beautiful. High-quality detail with that wonderful French feeling. Even the ball legs on it are classy. It comes with old wavy glass. However. Antique E&J Bass Gilt Brass Jeweled Picture Frame Czech Crystals Ormolu Style
This is an incredibly special picture frame from around the 1890's to the 1920's. It would look perfect on Lady Mary's dressing table in Downton Abbey(Highclere Castle) The frame is from the E&J Bass company. Also known as Empire Art. It is marked appropriately on the lower corner on the back. The brass has been gilded and each corner has four faceted, rose cut, bezel set Czech crystals- one in an emerald green, one in an amethyst purple, and two is cornflower blue or sapphire blue. At the top, in the wreath and ribbon decoration, is a larger emerald green crystal. What is so fascinating is the highly detailed embossing in the metal. We sold a sterling silver Faberge frame a year ago which had almost the identical wreath and ribbon decoration at the top as this one has. The front of the frame is in excellent antique condition. ... moreIt is so rare to find one of these frames with all of the original crystals intact. The back of the frame had the beautiful high relief metal work. As well. The backing which holds the photo in place has the original velvet which is now a faded brown color but under one tiny area, you can see that at one time, it was a vivid blue. The stand appears to have been soldered together in the center at one point and there is a tiny bit of corrosion which could be sanded off and sealed if you wish. The frame is quite heavy for its size. The visible area under the glass is 4.5" wide x 6 and 5/8" tall so it would hold a 5x7 photograph nicely.The outer dimensions of the frame are 6" x 9" to the top of the wreath and ribbon) The photo shown in the pictures above is not included in this listing but is available at an additional cost if you would like it.
