This is for a wood doll case. It does not hold the standard American Girl Doll. It holds a 12 inch or smaller doll. It is really nice. Pictures don't do it justice. Unfortunately the side has a little gash in it. The gash is about 1/2 inch. That happened in the mail. It has a nice interior& drawers. It is made of wood with a gold design painted on it. It measures 13 inches from top to bottom. Closed it is 6 1/2 inches. It has a drawer on the one side& a small O ring on the top to hand some doll clothes. The drawer itself measures 3 inches. The other side is for the doll with a ribbon on the inside to hold her in. It would fit the smaller American Girl Dolls not the standard 16 inch ones. 12" BISQUE RED-HEAD DOLL with WOOD STORAGE TRUNK, Clothes Change, Perfect!
I don't know anything about doll collecting. So will do my best to describe this. She is adorable and so precious! 12" tall. Bisque head, hands, legs and feet with cloth body(at least I think she's bisque, as I don't know the difference between porcelain and bisque, but the material is clearly breakable and fragile) Very nicely detailed face and the eyes are inset and not just painted on. She even has"real" eyelashes on the top lids and painted ones on the bottom. Clothes are very intricate too. She comes with a dress change and her own personal wooden dressing and storage chest/trunk, which measures 13" x 6" x 6.5" The chest serves as a cute way to display her. She was never even displayed, so she is completely dust free(the box has always been kept closed and in the closet) I would consider the ... morebox to be in excellent condition, but there are a few VERY VERY VERY minimal marks on it from being stored, but they are nearly unnoticeable without careful inspection. I have only removed her from the box to inspect her for this listing. I don't know her age and can't find any markings on her, but my daughter received her as a birth present 15 years ago, so it's at least that old. I suspect this is a"good" doll, as the lady who purchased it for her is quite wealthy and very particular: My daughter is selling off some things to make money for a camp she wants to attend. Victorian Oversized Antique 1800s Wood Hat Storage Box - Stagecoach Trunk
Rare oversized antique wood ladies' hatbox or storage trunk. I'm guessing this dates from the days when ladies' hats were at their largest. From about 1880-1910. There is a stamp inside the lid which is in a different language. There are a couple of extremely old labels affixed to the outside of box but they are obliterated from age. The huge box spans an impressive 20" across and stands 10-1/2" high. Dome top steamer chest/trunk. Bride or wedding trunk, or ship/stagecoach travel trunk. Of wood and metal construction, metal embossed outer layer, wood slat trim, most of the original antique hardware embellishments, a number of the pieces stamped Pat Mar 168(the final number of the patent year didn’t make it onto the hardware, but still indicates the patent dates back to the 1600’s! All the interior compartments are intact. With original linen-type covering over the compartment lids, with original pictorial lithographs and elaborate borders. Original graphic paper lining also intact on the underside of the compartment lids and the bottom section of the trunk– see condition in photos. The spots of discoloration in places may be rust coming through from the metal; bidder to determine. There are 5 compartments in the upper section– two in the ... morelid, and 3 in the top tray which includes one long compartment across the back(try to ignore the glaring blue felt lining in the compartments and bottom of the trunk, but note that I did not lift it to see what’s underneath) Please check all views of the photos for condition of the outer embossed skin/metal/wood(a few dents and splits in the metal but I didn’t see missing sections anywhere) Missing or replaced hardware(looks like a few pieces are missing, the lower front latch may be replaced, leather strap handles replaced and/or missing hardware? maybe some nails/studs replaced– overall minor in my opinion, but I want bidders to review closely and make their own determination) Overall this is in very solid condition, just has the wear and tear and aging of travel and usage. There is some paper peeling on the interior, there are some tears, there is some water damage to the wood(mostly to the paper(peeling/bubbling) There are a few rips in the fabric lining as well. There is a crack on the interior bottom of the wood, there are also some vintage stickers on the exterior. This trunk is a fantastic piece, anyone would be lucky to have it. It comes from a smoke free home. Serial# 11088(or 11087, the last number has faded a bit and I can't tell which it is) This trunk measures: 22" high x 43.5" long x 22.5" wide Must be able to pick up in Conord. NH. THIS IS A STURDY VINTAGE WOODEN TOOL BOX/ CHEST. IT HAS A STATIONARY TOOL SHELF TO THE BACK TOWARDS THE TOP. IT ALSO HAS A REMOVABLE TOOL BOX THAT CAN GO OVER THE BACK BOX OR MOVED TO THE FRONT OF THE BOX. IT IS IN REALLY GREAT SHAPE. THE ONLY FLAW IS THE LEFT HINGE IS BROKEN IN THE MIDDLE. This antique steamer trunk and it believes from the 1900's. Trunk looks great for its age and is strong and sturdy. Very well made piece. Made of solid vintage wood(I believe to be oak) with brass corners and straps for support. Great Looking Medium Carved Wood Elephant (Walnut?), Trunk Up, Lighter Tusks
This is a great looking carved wood elephant made by skilled hands and tools. In addition to the general shape and features which catch the eye immediately. Other details delight as you look at it more closely. Examples include the notches in the ears to give them shape and, in key spots on the elephant's body, thick and fine lines to indicate wrinkled skin. The tusks appear to be lighter wood. The mystery features, for me, are the eyes. They are little round, deep-set pieces of the material resembling that which eBay only allows in very small quantities, if the item was made before 1900. Since the tusks are wood, the eyes may be very smooth wood pieces too. The elephant measures approximately 4 1/4" high, 4" long, and 1 5/8" wide. HI, I have for sale a early 1900's maybe a late 1800's Antique Humpback Trunk. Located in Weston. Wi. by Wausau, WI. 54476. The trunk is in good condition for the age. It has wheels on the bottom, has to outside latches that work fine and a center locking latch I have no key, but not all that hard to finds a key. The outside is made of wood and metal with some leather overlay and wood slates, the bottom is solid, there is no self for the inside and overall in good condition. Antique Steamer Trunk Tray Wood Roll Top Trunk
Wood tray for antique steamer trunk. Tray measures 29 1/2" long. 15 5/8"wide, and 5 1/2" deep. It originally sat on wood side supports built into the trunk. Tray has small metal brackets on each end with a divider down the center. This came out of an old roll-top or camel-back trunk, but would fit a flat-top trunk as well. There is a sliver of wood missing from the center divider as shown in the first picture. This would be best as a free pick-up, but will deliver this to a shipper in Elizabethtown, Ky, if you pay for packing and shipping.
