Up for sale is this vintage or antique early 20th century humpback trunk. The front. Back and top have metal panels with a reptile skin texture. The side metal panels are smooth with a blue tint. The humpback top has wood banding. There is metal banding on the edges. It has metal one directional wheels on the bottom. There is extensive patina on the metal and wear on the wood finish. Part of the metal lid strip is missing on the front corner, and the leather handles are missing. It has 2 broken hinges and the inside shows use wear as in soiling, filth, staining. The lid on the insert is detached but is included with the trunk. It has a strong smell of moth balls. The lock does not latch and we do not have the key. However, the other 2 latches do function. Vintage camelback steamer trunk with decorative stamped tin on top. Front and sides. This is a small trunk as the dimensions show below. More manageable size than some of the very large ones I've seen. As you can see from the pictures the tin has developed a beautiful greenish patina. All natural and from what I can tell untouched as far as being refinished. It takes a long time to get that type of patina in the metalwork. It looks really awesome. Some original paper still remains on inside. Has built-in casters. Handles are rotted away as most are on the trucks 100 years old. It measures 30"Long x 16"Deep x 19"Tall. Up for auction is this beautiful wooden trunk. This is smaller in size than the much larger once that are usually listed. It overall dims are 26" long by 14" deep(front to back) by 13" tall. It comes with the key but the lock is missing. The face plate is there so it isn't affected cosmetically but the lock assembly is gone. Very rustic looking chest. The wood is very light weight like Cedar but the knots give it the look of Pine. The crack across the front gives it a great look. The channels and groves in the wood are from bugs and worms and give it one of a kind characteristics. Awesome in my eyes. This definitely has that Pirate Treasure Chest look going for it(except for the red lining inside of course) Very sound and sturdy yet looks to be made long ago. Pictures tell the story. Up for sale is a very nice antique Victorian Steamer Trunk. It is in very good condition inside and out. The outside has very nice stamped flowers. Very nice woodwork, one leather strap is broken the other is good, the pictures say it all. The dimensions are 31 wide by 17.5 wide by 25 deep. The flower has Pat. HI, I have for sale a early 1900's maybe a late 1800's Antique Humpback Trunk. Located in Weston. Wi. by Wausau, WI. 54476. The trunk is in good condition for the age. It has wheels on the bottom, has to outside latches that work fine and a center locking latch I have no key, but not all that hard to finds a key. The outside is made of wood and metal with some leather overlay and wood slates, the bottom is solid, there is no self for the inside and overall in good condition. Vintage Humpback Steamer Trunk Treasure Chest 1800's Victorian
The trunk is in fairly good shape considering what is thought to be its age(1880s? Dimensions are 32" x 18" x 21" No mold that I can see. Nice Patina to the metal parts and normal wear to wood. Both straps pictured are intact. No keys and middle lock as been busted the white stuff on middle lock is glue from tape. The hardware on top says"Pat Mar 1880" which is the patent date from the research I've done. The lock says Pat Jul 972 which is apparently the patent date of the lock as July 9, 1872. The bottom is intact and all 4 wheeles are there, there is a small piece of wood missing from inside see pics. the weight of item is appx. 35-40 lbs but adding for crate weight it is showing 60-65 lbs appx.

Vintage Antique Tin Clad Humpback Steamer Trunk Floral Pattern
You're bidding on a lovely antique tin clad humpback steamer trunk that measures 32x19x18" and is about 20" at the top of the hump. It has the original stamped floral pattern tin on the outside and a removable tray on the inside with an extra divider slat- we've looked and looked but can't figure out where that goes. If you look closely at the top you can see the original blue and gold coloring of the tin that contrasts with the red on the sides and back. It is missing the lower half of the left latch on the front(see pictures) The interior is in decent condition. No sign/smell of mold or mildew despite the stains on the tray- it is as dry as a bone. Rare Vintage Antique Humpback Steamer Dome Top Trunk lined with Copper
I have up for sale a unique and wonderful vintage Copper Covered Humpback Steamer Trunk- yes you are reading this right- copper covered. First time in nearly 30 years of dealing that I have seen a humpback made with copper. It comes from the estate of an elder pair of local collector's. They had a small private museum and this was one of the items in the museum. The trunk weighs approx 33 lbs as you see it. Measures approx 26" long x 19" tall, and 15" deep. It has wood slates, a copper covered body, and brass plated latches and brass plated handles on the sides. I estimate the age to be from the early 1900s to 1940s. The trunk is in very good overall condition! The copper has some age and use wear. Looks as though it was polished way back when and has now darkened and tarnished over. The interior looks as though it was ... moreredone somewhere down the line. This is a good solid piece, not too big not too small, nice and sturdy, very unusual with the copper covering. Who inherited it from her mother. My best guess is that it was used to store firewood either inside or outside. This item 14-20208 is a very nice vintage wooden humpback immigrant trunk. It has a name on the front. Could be Dutch or German. It measures 36" x 17" x 18" It came over on a ship in the mid 1800's so it is not perfect. There is some roughness on the edges. It is made from 3/4" wood and has box joints. It has the original hardware. It has been lined inside with quilt batting and a green paisley pattern material. This item 14-20152-65 is a very nice vintage wooden humpback immigrant trunk. It has the name A. Vogt carved on the top. It measures 39" x 18.5" x 23.5" It has no damage. It has the original blue paint on the outside. It has the original hardware. Some of the locks had been removed on the inside. Before we purchased it. It has been lined inside with quilt batting and a blue gray leaf pattern material.
