There is some staining behind the bottom drawer of possible wood finishing, the wallpaper otherwise is in excellent condition. It is in overall very good condition as you can see in pictures. You see the condition, she definitely has character. The bare wood was once covered with a heavy type decorative paper, most of that is gone but you see some remnants of that in places. The original label was found in the trunk. It belonged to a gentleman in Escanaba Michigan. Maybe you can reincorporate the label back into a repurpose project(maybe lacqure it onto the top side? There is leather and metal construction incorporated into this little trunk. The leather handle is broken and the leather straps are gone with just some of their remnants being in place. The trunk is still 100% solid. This trunk will make a killer repurpose project, you just need to use your imagination, is it a small table, a small storage trunk for a big city loft apartment? Up for sale is a Vintage Mid Century Cedar Chest. It is double walled and has brass ornate corner plates for decoration and protection. It has four short feet and a hinged lid. It does not have a makers mark. It is in great condition with some light scratching and marks on the lid. There is a couple little discoloration marks and a tiny yellow paint mark. The inside is in excellent condition with very minimal signs of wear. It measures approx. 42.5" long by 20.5" wide by 18.5" tall. This is going to be listed as Local Pick Up only. I am selling off some of my mom's large doll collection and this is a cute little doll trunk that could use some TLC. It's about 13" tall. 7" wide and 7" across. It has brass hinges, fasteners and corner pieces, it also has green metal trim along the edges. The outside is a red pattern-I think it looks like paper or leather over wood. The inside seems to be covered with a red patterned paper. There is a hole cut out of the back. It looks to me like it's been exposed to water, the back seems a bit warped. The box does have some wear and use as shown in my pictures but no damage other than paint and box wear and some light surface rust. The box weighs about 11 pounds. As found-lined box. Cross& corner pieces on back, with trunk, two bottles one of which has filigree all over it, the smaller bottle is trimmed in gold and has some gold designs on top, scoop was found with this but do not know if it is original to other pieces, on back of scoop it says Sick Call Outfit, special metal, silverplate and looks like pat'd april 97, but that makes no sense to me. scoop is silver on outside and gold colored on inside. Really cool pieces! Box is approx 8 x 8, trunk about five inches long by four high. Trunk looks very olde and has crack in top that looks like it has been glued before, still very cool.

Antique Wood Chest Small Trunk Fabric Covered Worcester Metal Goods Co. Lock Key
The box measures 15.5" x 8.5" x 7.5" and is in good condition for its age. I do not know the maker of the box but the hardware is made by Worcester Metal Goods Co. It is very sturdy and the hinges are holding up well. The fabric is very soft but I am not sure what material it is. It is tearing at some of the edges but is mostly intact. It looks like only one nail is missing and I think it just held the fabric in the corner in place. All of the rivets for the hardware are original and intact. The lock is a little tight but it works well and has the key. The inside feels similar to wallpaper and has some wear and discoloring but is in pretty good shape. Feel free to ask questions. Gorgeous Solid Wood Doll Trunk. The trunk measures on the outside. 20 1/2" T) X 10 3/4" W) with brass accents, covered, stitched handle. On the inside it measures approximately 19 1/2" Tall, 9 1/2" Wide, and 5 1/2" Deep. So it would comfortably house a doll(or dolls) up to 19" tall. This trunk is very beautiful! The two drawers still have the same tie around the handles, so the drawers don't come flying open. I'm not sure why it was made that way, but it was. You could take a piece of your favorite color ribbon, and use that to put around the handles. It certainly wouldn't look bad. It has a hanger rack. This trunk has never been used before, just moved around over the past 15 years. Overall it is in very good condition, and is basically new. ANTIQUE PRIMITIVE APOTHECARY WOOD TOOL CHEST CABINET CUPBOARD TRUNK BOX* Up for sale is this awesome wood three drawer plus top drawer tool chest filing cabinet cupboard. On the outside of this cabinet is red paint with white porcelain knobs. The top drawer measures 18" wide x 9 1/2" deep x 2 3/4" high. Also in the top cabinet you can see there is an old lock inside the drawer and then outside you can see where the key would have gone- it has been painted over. We do not have the key. The three bottom drawers measure 9 1/2" deep x 16 3/4" wide x 1 1/2" high. Total cabinet measures 19 3/4" wide x 11" deep(not counting the knobs) x 12 1/4" high. It weighs 14 lbs. On the front of the bottom drawer there are two holes- they do go through to the other side. I'm not sure what this was for- most likely ... morea name plate of some sort or maybe an old handle. In all three of the drawers inside- in the back of the drawer there are holes that go all the way through. The hole is also inside the top drawer under the lid. This was likely to lock the drawers. The person would have a rod(not included) that would slide down from the top and lock each drawer in place. Then. By locking the lid with the key(not included) the entire cabinet could be locked up safe! It may have been for a shop owner or perhaps for someone who kept valuables in their home and didn't want any sticky fingers walking off with their goods! Once the cabinet was all locked up, it was easy to carry without losing the drawers by grabbing ahold of the nice brass handles on each side. This is a great size cabinet that could be used for many things! There are some paint spills on a couple of places. Chips, scratches, and holes but it does not take away from the beauty of this cabinet. Great for many uses! The red paint appears to be old but don't think it is original to the piece. Great piece! Charming all-wood domed small trunk circa 1880s. Has original top handle and fantastic front brass hinge. Hinge has a mark. Patent date of 1880s(I think) Great shape and design. Very useable size at 14" tall x 16" across front, 13" deep. It is utterly charming and substantial enough to hold linens or other objects. It certainly was too large for a doll trunk so might have been for a child but it's heavy and substantial so was not a plaything. Beautiful outside condition on wood which looks to be pine with oak trim. A couple of expected splits on top. Front must have had leather straps at one time but are now gone; 3 of 4 metal clips remain. I always thought I'd buy a leather belt at a thrift store and add straps but never did because it's great the way it is. A real antique treasure. Paper lining lid 1826(has ad for the sale of a slave) A sad part of our country's heritage. It also has a loose newspaper from 1924. The trunk is much older than the paper. I think it is from the 1700's or before. I can't remember anymore although it is very very early. It came out of the Pennsylvania area. We took this trunk to antiques road show in Milwaukee several years ago and one of the twins said its value was $500.00. We had to wait in line for 7 hours. We won't be doing that again. This is a stunningly rare antique authentic handmade salesman sample miniature travel domed top trunk. It is a very small model made by hand to be able to easily transport from potential client to client for sales rather than carrying a heavy. Large, original sized trunk. It is beautifully made with an abundance of nice detailing and many different materials. it is made from wood. Iron, leather, canvas, and linen. it has lonely metal decorative dogs on the front done in high relief and have dangling rings from their mouthes. there is a nice handmade locking mechanism on the front but does not have a key. the inside is nicely lined but would have had a couple more pieces and more of the purple lining. it also has a linen piece on the side to hold the box opened. it is missing the handle part on the sides but still has the mounts so can easily ... morebe replaced. it measures 12 inches long by 9 inches tall by 7 3/4 inches wide. it is in nice antique condition and has normal ware from age. refer to all photos.
