It is 1 piece out of a very large collection or Mount Washington Glass that I have had the honor of buying. I would date this piece to the late 1800's or very early 1900's The vase is in overall great condition it does have the 1 popped bubble on the body the vase is still useable and displays very nicely. Opaline glass was made originally in Bohemia. France and England. This set used green glass which had uranium salts in the formulation resulting in its fluorescing very strongly yellow-green under UV(or black) light. The pitcher stands 9 1/2" to the top of the handle while the bowl has a 14" diameter. Both have ground and polished pontils. The 5th and 6th pictures show how the bottom and top of the handle are attached. That style was common until about 1875. Condition is excellent, the only wear being very light scratches to the interior bottom from the pitcher being placed in it and minor shelf wear to the bottoms of both pieces. There are no chips, cracks, dings, stains, sickness or repairs and the set displays beautifully. 19th Century Hand Cut Glass Cream Jug
There is a very unusual pattern to the cutting of this jug. It has vertical cuts that go from the bottom to about a third of the way up. Followed by horizontal cuts, and then the central part is cut in diamond shapes with multi-small diamond cuts in each center in the larger diamonds. On top of this band is another band of linear deep cuts that extend right under the spout to the central mid-diamond motif band. The rim has also been hand-cut. With multiple cuttings to increase its decorative value. The handle itself. Which was hand-applied, has been cut not only on the base of the handle, but also the cutting extends to the top as well. The mouth or opening of the jug was fire polished and the very nice hand-tooled handle was applied. The jug is loaded with seed bubbles and little imperfections throughout the glass. Which gives it a primitive look with lots of character. It is 8.5 inches tall, and 5.5 inches wide. Overall this wonderful jug is in excellent antique condition. There are no chips or cracks and the handle is fine with no checks. There is some light staining around the bottom. But only is seen or noticed in strong sunlight. JUG WITH CHIMNEY AND SILVER REVOLVING SDTAND
The jug is made of 1/4" thick glass. Has a recessed bottom and no seams. It is hand-painted and appears to have etching beneath the paint. The black and brown design is abstract and may haver been painted by an amateur(How can a person tell? I think a lot of valuable artwork looks that way) The silver stand revolvers and the two pieces together weigh just under 5 lbs. and are 8 3/4" tall x 8" wide at hte widest point. It is truly a curiosity. Use your imagination and find a unique use for this piece! Or get creative, seperate the two pieces and find a unique use for both of them.

Beautiful Early 19th C. Emerald Green Lacy Glass Cream Jug With Applied Handle This is a nice early 19th C. mold blown flint lacy pattern glass cream jug with applied handle and panel cut neck. In a beautiful emerald green. It measures 4 1/2" high, and 4 3/4" across from handle to spout. It is in excellent condition with no chips, or cracks. There are a few shallow flakes to the inner edge of where the lower part of the handle was applied, done in the making not damage, there are no cracks or issues with the handle. It is a nice heavy piece, and I can see the remnants of the circular pontil mark on the base. Up for bid is a Vintage Continental Studios Hand Painted Glass Bottle/ Jug. This is a clear bottle/ jug. There is a design on both sides with yellow. Red, and orange flowers. There is also the green and browns incorporated into the design. There is a ribbon painted around the neck of the bottle/ jug. The upper rim of the bottle/ jug appears to have been painted red, but a lot of that paint has flaked off.
