Here is a pretty antique American brilliant period cut glass carafe in the Cypress pattern from Hawkes as is marked near the base. It stands about 7 1/2" tall an about 5 3/4" wide. There is a couple chips on the cuts as shown and a tiny bit of every so slight roughness on the rim. The inside has some residue. But since I can see attempts to clean with something it looks like the inside should be mostly cleanable and most of it is not the cloudiness due to permanent discoloration of the glass, although there could be some faint water discoloration when held to the light. Here is a pretty vintage glass cruet jug. It has a honeycomb type pattern on the stopper. The bottom has shows the blown mark. Bottom of stopper is uneven and could have been made that way or broken. Up for bid isthis real nice vintage 2 handle. Clear glass, 1 gallon jug. This has a brick like design around the sides and top of it that makes it unique. The bottom has the words"Design patent Applied for" There is also the numbers and letters"R-233" in a circle and the number'757' also on the bottom. On one of the flat glass part at the top it reads" One Full Gallon" and on the other side of the clear flat glass it reads"Federal Law Forbids Sale or Reuse of this Bottle" and there are some minor scratches on the glass under this wording. 18th century red blown glass decorated mug
This blown glass mug measures 4 1/4" tall and a little over 3" at its' widest point not counting the handle. I believe it was made in the 18th century and that the glass is stained red. The handle is hollow and applied to the blown glass body. The bottom has a large. 1 1/4" pontil mark that is unpolished. Wonderful Victorian Etched and Cut Glass Water Jug
This beautiful water jug was brought to Canada from Shropshire in England by my great-great-grandmother in 1908. Over the years it has been treated gently and has mainly been stored in various generation's china cabinets. Aside from a few wear marks on its base. It is in excellent condition. The jug stands 8 inches high and is 6 inches across at the base and 4 inches across at the top. Its handle is just over 5.5 inches long. The etchings and cuttings on this glass are beautifully done and show elegance in their grace and restraint. The flowers appear to be cosmos. And they are artfully arranged among various graceful tendrils. The top edge is delicately scalloped all the way around, and there is a 16-point star on the base. WMF Amber Cut to Clear Wine or Lemonade Pitcher Glass Insert Egermann Style
This auction is for a beautiful wine pitcher or lemonade pitcher in an amber cut to clear with nice engraving in a grape or vintage pattern. The style is similar to Egermann but this piece is probably from WMF or Wurttembergische Metallwarenfabrik. We believe there is a partial mark of the simple WMF in a small rectangle. We have tried to get a picture but it is not helpful. The pitcher is wonderful measuring 11 3/4 inches tall and weighing more than 7 pounds. The glass insert is in great condition with the original bail for lifting it from the pitcher. We are not sure what is the metal content of the silver top and handle. It would appear to be a type of silverplate. The WMF made an especially fine plated metal but we cannot be sure if this is WMF. There is light wear and tarnish to the silver metal. Description Offered is a pair of antique cruets which stand 6 1/2" tall and are made from glass and pewter. They probably date to the early 1800's and have hand blown clear glass bodies with pewter footrings and pewter tops. They have raised decorations on the hinged lids and ornate handles. The pieces are not marked but probably date to the early 1800's. They are in very nice condition with no chips or cracks in the glass except for a chip in the underside of the foot on one. I only cleaned this ONCE and you'll want to follow up with a good soaking as well. But the glass is nice and mostly clear and I LOVE.LOVE. LOVE the swirls in the glass and the droopy top! Vintage Extra Large Green Glass Wine Jar/ Jug Viresa 22" Tall
Item is in good condition. Marked viersa on the rim. Has quite a few flaws in the glass: such as air bubbles some small some large. No cracks or chips does need some more cleaning I wiped the outside of the glass and rinsed the inside with water I done no major scrubbing. The glass looks like there are ripples in it or dimpled throughout the jug/jar. The is a seem one on each side. Item measures approx 22" tall and has a large diameter. Antique Victorian EAPG Mold Blown Pattern Glass Cruet Jug Fan Diamond
Here is a very nice antique Early American pattern glass cruet jug. It is mold blown and has a pontil mark on the bottom. I have not been able to figure out the pattern name but it has a fan and diamond pattern and has matching pattern stopper. It stands about 7 1/4" in total height. Overall it looks to be in really nice condition with just some typical roughness in the opening where the stopper goes and a tiny chip near the top of stopper on one of the ribs. 1930s to 1950s One Gallon Brown Glass Hi-Lex Bleach Bottle as shown in pictures above and as described below. Exact age is unknown but I think this bottle or jug is from the 1930s or 1950s. Any information is appreciated. Bottle/Jug stands 12-1/2" tall. Is about 6-1/2" in diameter and weighs three pounds. Has the unique(two finger) handle on neck which has Hi-lex in raised letters on both sides. Bottle/Jug is marked Gallon To Line Hi-Lex in two places. Is marked 7- 9- 49 and some type of logo on the bottom Excellent Condition with Original Metal Lid which has some wear/age. Bottle is Near Mint but the inside is dirty. You are viewing a wonderful antique deep cranberry glass lemonade or water pitcher. From the style and the way it was made. I would estimate it was made some time in the second half of the 19th century in the reign of Queen Victoria. I believe it is an English jug, although it may also be American in origin. It is entirely hand-made, blown glass. The style is almost Aesthetic Movement and the shape reminds me of a Dr. Christopher Dresser design. This lovely jug stands approximately 19 centimeters tall. The pontil mark on the underside has been ground and polished leaving a nice recessed area. The jug is in good condition with no cracks or chips. Minor scratching especially on the underside rim Minor calcium deposits on the interior of the jug. Shipping will $24 internationally from Paris France. ANTIQUE SATIN GLASS HINGED LIDDED SYRUP JUG/PITCHER - VERY PRETTY!
Offering this very pretty syrup jug/pitcher in varying shades of pink displaying a beautifully multicolored embossed swirling design of flowers and leaves tinged with gold that appears hand painted. The ornate metal may be pewter. However, an attempt at buffing appears on the lid resulting in a brighter silver area. From tip of finial to base the height is approx. 6" and from spout to handle 5" Overall, it has been well preserved through the years with a minor imperfection noted, the rim of the lid has a dent, unseen when closed. Otherwise, I would guess that it has been displayed only as the interior, white in color, has no indication of use. For the collector of such antiques it's a desirable addition and I appreciate your interest.

Nice circa 1936 Owens-Illinois 2-gallon kerosene bottle. Has a very clear maker's mark on the bottom of the bottle. Showing it was manufactured in Alton, Illinois in 1936. 99% clean with just a slight residue left in the interior. 17" high x approximately 8" in diameter. Nice original metal spring-loaded nozzle and cap. Original metal collar and handle. All metal has some minor tarnish patina. No cracks. Chips or breaks, just a few insignificant scratches from use-wear. The bottom of the bottle has that terrific veining synonymous with the Owens-Illinois glass firing process. This piece has an appealing classical shape with applied clear glass handle. This piece is presented in good antique condition ... morewith no big chips. Cracks or repairs. There are a few exceptionally tiny fleabites surrounding the top rim. Etching to the inner rim indicates this piece would originally have had a lid or stopper. Which has unfortunately been lost. There is considerable wear to the thin gilt bands trimming the foot and neck. The enamel is in lovely crisp condition. This piece is a fine example and presents very well. This is a hand blown piece with rough pontil mark to the base. There are sufficient light surface scratches to the base to authenticate this is a genuinely vintage example. You will receive exactly what is pictured. We do not use stock photos. We have a small cask on a wooden stand. The label on the bottom of the cask says Made in Italy. The cask is green glass. Covered in brown leather. It came from a local estate sale. That was full of mostly Asian antiques and art. The cask measures about 8" long and 7" in diameter. Not including the stopper. We don't know much else about it. A nice unusual decorative item to add to your collection. We will combine shipping for multiple items.
